I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this location. Quite a large store but upon entry the first thing on the right you run into is produce, and a tapas bar 20 feet long with salad fixings on one side and olives mozzarella cheese different fresh foods on the entire island. The deli is well maintained with roasted chickens always available and a wide deli selection. I've just recently moved to Winder where I'm having to adjust from my Kroger and I found I can get most everything I want here. This place is clean, the staff is friendly and plentiful and the isles are well marked define things although learning a new grocery store always takes time. There is a Starbucks here as well for those who like Starbucks and they have an advantage program and gasoline so I'm hoping to see if I can get the same deals on gasAs I did with Kroger. Again for an essentially non-believer in the beginning I'm very impressed with this Ingles and will be back. read more

Love this store in winder. It's clean and has the best selection of any store in the area. Meats are very good and great prices. The rest of the store in terms of prices is just ok but the selection and cleanliness it's a 5! And you can get your Starbucks there too. read more

After standing at the deli counter for 10 minutes my wife had to speak to one of the employees how had not say anything to us. Three people working and no how can I help you, will be with you min a minute or even please go to another store. Management need to work with them and help them understand that customers are the reason you are here. read more

Ingles Markets - a parking lot with a yellow fire hydrant - Grocery Near Me - Winder, Georgia

I visit this location about once a week when I'm up in Winder. There's a lot of parking and very easy access to this location. I do really like that there's a Starbucks inside as I usually buy A drink and a snack while I'm at the store. This location is very big and is very small stocked. Staff at this location are nice and the Starbucks workers are also very nice. There are times where I think the store is a bit dirty and I am not exactly pumped about the hot food options they have around the store but otherwise this is your average grocery store. This location also has a gas station which is great for being able to hit multiple task at one location. The gas station is about 100 yards from the entrance of the grocery store. I will definitely continue to come back weekly as this grocery store is able to satisfy the basic needs I need. I wouldn't say there How many premium brand items in this location but for basic necessities it's great. read more

For a Food/Drug Store - Awesome. As a just learning to cook Papa this is the place to shop. I had read tons of material and watched hours of YouTube videos on how to make pickles. After getting my courage up I visited the Ingles in Winder. Best decision I could have made. My cart was loaded with "stuff" but I needed one more item. I just happened to see a "white" shirt walking by and asked him for help. Not only did he help me find the item I wanted he convinced me that I didn't need a lot of the things I had in my buggy. The store is well-kept and clean. The employees are friendly inside the store, but the gas station is another matter entirely. We stopped there to get gas and the pump said there was a bad card read. The screen seemed to be stuck and then it said to see the cashier. She/he wasn't very helpful or friendly. We left and got gas somewhere else. So I'd say shop in the store, but buy gas elsewhere. read more

Went in today at 7am and stock crews had almost every isle blocked not to the side but blocked completely it was like being at Walmart trying to shop early in the morning. I brought it to the managers attention and his said "we open at 6 and we got a big truck in". It seems as if everything on the truck was dumped directly inside the store. This review is specifically for the deli. The sandwiches are amazing. They always use fresh bread and take time to make your sandwich perfect. The service is excellent at the deli, and the prices are better than any other local grocery store sandwich delis. The store is always clean and the staff are very helpful and kind. For some reason, I'm always there, at least 5 nights a week, late night shopping, feel appreciated as a customer, and always find everything I need, the store is always clean and organized, and all the staff, know me, and I can talk to them as friends, very rare for me to shop elsewhere, the meat, poultry, and fruits and vegetables are always fresh, and you get great deals, if you're in the area any groceries go there! read more

This Ingles is great! Other Ingles I have been to are usually small, and dirty, with little to no organic selection, but this Ingles is different. It is clean! The staff is friendly and the manager/s are always present, doing their job well. Surprisingly, this Ingles has stolen me from both Publix and Eathfare(Which were my main shops)! I am second generation Publix shopper(lol) and never would have guessed in a mill that I would be so happy and have so many organics while shopping at Ingles. I'm happy I found the place! read more

Ingles is my store we go every week & buy what we need. We've tried the cooked food twice now. The people are rude & the food is old, hard & dry. This is a nice grocery store! They've recently expanded their services and they have some great options now, compared to a typical grocery store. They now have a gelato bar, a fresh cooked Asian and American food station you can order as meals to go for a quick lunch or dinner, a frozen drink and soda bar, and a sub station. All of them can be found by the deli. They also have a Starbucks that's opening in one week! The staff, who are mostly teenagers, are always friendly and helpful. They have a really good produce section and fresh cut produce bar. The only problems I have with Ingle's in general is that it's kind of pricey and I can't find certain items there, that my family eats regularly. I have to go to Walmart to get the items I can't get at Ingle's. I would also suggest to always check the dates on their food, before purchasing it. I bought a perishable at this location and consumed some of it, before realizing it was expired (bought it the same day I ate it). After that, I started checking the dates when buying items there, and found an expired yogurt on the shelf, also at this location. read more

Went 8 miles out of route to shop here, and so glad we did. This is a huge, clean store with very nice employees. Large parking lot for our tractor. Loved the deli....even got a box of baked chicken for our chihuahua CuJo (legs & quarters) to mix in his food. Juana helped me with a small problem...the BOGO gourmet banana nut muffins were out & though it wasn't her dept, she said she'd help. She got boxes & took muffins out of the case for me. The Manager stopped by, wanting to know if everything was okay & personally boxed & labeled the muffins. I shouldn't have gone in hungry, but it worked out ok cause there were a lot of items on sale (I saved $23). I got a big Boars Head roast beef & swiss sub that we had for lunch; this sub will provide two meals each for me & my spouse. Wish we had Ingles in FL. read more

This is absolutely the BEST and biggest grocery I have ever seen anywhere! The staff is wonderful, they have gone out of their way to help whenever I needed it. The produce department is the biggest with the freshest produce! If you can't find it here, God didn't make it! The deli is especially wonderful. Everything from fresh subs to home-make candy is available in this department with a salad bar, olive bar and hot food bar. In fact, each department has more choices available than any grocery store I've ever been in. They even carry B&M beans that I bought in Boston! I was so surprised to learn this because I had already told myself I would have to do without my favorite "beans and franks". When you walk in, it's almost like Christmas morning!
