Unfortunately, we are forced to come to this Publix due to the convenience and every time I walk out, I end up disappointed employees have bad attitudes, especially in the bakery area and cashiers acted as if they couldn't help when I needed to be transferred to another register that allowed cash when turns out a simple swipe of a card transferred me to the nearest register . Too bad I wish customer service was better strictly going to Publix in Jefferson from now on. read more

We are visiting from out of state and our daughter got a UTI. We went strait from the Urgent Care to the pharmacy here and the rx was pretty much ready. We were so glad this process went so smoothly and everyone we were in contact with was very kind and helpful. Thanks for helping make a yucky scenario go much smoother! read more

This store has gone downhill badly in the last six months. Customer service is terrible. The deli couldn't get an order right to save their lives. The pick-up service is not good. I'm done with store for groceries. The only redeeming thing about this store is the pharmacy. The pharmacy is excellent. read more

I was at the Publix grocery store at noon today, selecting items and standing in line at the checkout counter. When it was my turn, I asked the cashier (an elderly white woman), "Can I enter my phone number?" This is a usual procedure to confirm my membership by entering my phone number. Typically, other cashiers would respond affirmatively to such a request. However, this elderly cashier pretended not to hear me. She deliberately ignored me. Despite repeating my question assertively right in front of her, she continued to ignore me, keeping her head down and avoiding eye contact. I repeated myself three times, but there was no response or acknowledgment whatsoever. Luckily, there was a male assistant nearby who intervened. He finally addressed the cashier, saying, "The customer is asking if they can enter their phone number." Only then did the cashier finally look at me and ask what I said. I explained that I had repeated myself three times, but she claimed she couldn't hear me well. This was a lie. Even though I spoke in a louder tone than the male assistant, she pretended not to hear me while immediately understanding him. The Publix manager needs to re-educate this cashier. It was a very unpleasant experience. It felt like racial discrimination because I am Asian. read more

I had an interaction in the Deli/sandwich making line. When I complain, it's that I have received bad service. I've worked in the service industry and would never make any complaint unless it was well warranted. I complained and Publix reached out to me immediately. Publix seems to always have what I need but on the rare occasion they do not, they are willing to obtain it for me. The sales include many items I normally buy and the produce is fresh. The pharmacy is professional and helpful. The checkout lines are reasonable and frequently If there are more re than three waiting they open another checkout. It's clean, the staff is accommodating and the bakery and deli have variety and good selections. It makes grocery shopping a pleasure read more

Wow!!! I was in a time crunch this morning and would normally drive farther to get things at Walmart cuz they seem to be a little cheaper sometimes. I'm glad I didn't I came to Publix instead. I was amazed at how friendly the staff is and how helpful they were. Every time I passed a staff member stocking shelves they would always say hi or good morning. I made it to the cashier and they were bagging my groceries as they got to my carton of eggs the bagger notice that one of the eggs was cracked. They asked me if I wanted to go get another one and I said it was okay cuz I was in a time crunch. The bagger asked me if it would be okay if he ran to get another one for me and it wouldn't take any more time but he wanted me to be satisfied and I said okay. He literally sprinted all the way back to the eggs brought me a new carton and then showed me the open carton that all the eggs were fine. When I walked out into the parking lot to put my groceries in the car I was just finishing up as another employee was getting carts out of the parking lot and she automatically came by and got my car and said I didn't have to worry about it. I am in the customer service industry and this Publix just showed me some different ideas on how to provide a better customer experience. I could have driven 15 minutes to Walmart and saved $1.50 and probably been frustrated by the time I made it back out to my car. Instead I came to Publix and I'm leaving with a smile on my face. Their deli is completely clustered and disorganized! One deli clerk a lady told me and my grandmother to move away from the traditional counter while waiting on a sub in the LONG sub line! Customers can't help that the layout is traditional subs and hot case are all in a line close together so where do we go to wait in line? Another issue was they had 6 people working behind the counter and only one person working on subs! They didn't send another person over until about 5 minutes later! This deli totally needs to get it together and work on customer service skills totally! When we get up to order the sub the guy has no idea what sub we are even talking about and I have to tell him how to make it! This is just sad! read more

This is MY Publix! I have never been one to really rather go to one grocery store over another. I will wait and drive past other grocery stores, even other Publix stores, to go to this one. I love love the people! They make this store! read more

We like this supermarket. It's roughly 6 minutes from home and the employees are always helpful. Would like if prices were a bit lower and they had the displays to the right towards bakery at entrance not so cluttered, makes maneuvering around in the motorized carts difficult. Also, would be nice to have more comfortable motorized carts with a bit more power. read more

Publix is my most local Grocery store and I enjoy going here because the staff is always friendly and helpful. I have never once been in the store and not been greeted and offered help at least once while walking the aisles - it is a breath of fresh air. I love the fresh produce selections and their BOGOs near the front of the store and end caps of aisles. read more

Had to do last min shopping for thanksgiving, before i went to publix i was at kroger and the place was so full and lines were so long i left and went to publix, turned out to be the best move. The workers at this location are just so friend , nice and extremely helpful. I felt like a kind when i was checking out, one girl took my kart and put all my items on the counter, the cashier was very nice , and another girl bagged my groceries and walked me out to my car. That is what i call great customer service! read more

This is the grocery store that I frequent most often, as it is close to where I work and live. The employees are very warm and helpful. They seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs, so the service that they provide is effortlessly awesome. The store is always clean, and the shelves are well stocked with product. They carry some specialty items that other grocery stores in this very rural area do not usually bother to offer for sale. The produce and the meat departments are immaculate and are full of fresh looking and ample stock. I love to eat from the deli, and I do so 2 or 3 times a week. Everything is delicious! There are many healthy options to choose from, but I recommend their harvest salad. Some of their regular prices are higher than other stores, but the convenience of the location, and the quality of the service and the environment more than make up for that. One can always stock up on the many "buy one, get one" offers that change from week to week. read more

I just left this publix and I'm NOT happy. It's bad enough you pay so much more for the same crap everyone else has, but when employees get an attitude with you for no reason it's very frustrating. A woman who works in the bakery has the nerve to treat you as if you're bothering her whenever you have to call her to get her attention from sweeping or cleaning, which is EVERY time, and then she yells back at you "what do you need" instead of walking over to you. Then, a woman who I had tracked down and asked for help offered to get me a rain check on something they're out of (to be sure I got it at sale price since they had sold out) and then she bailed on me as we were walking up front, which meant I had to wait in line to get help from someone ELSE. I finally see her and guess what she's doing? Eating samples from the cook in the deli. And then, last but not least, a 30.00 item gets scanned twice, and when they take it off I don't see my total go down by 30.00. As I'm questioning this major sure my bank isn't going to be hit with a 30.00 mistake (that I would have to wait 5-7 business days to get back) another cashier get an attitude with me about it. It's not HER money, it's MINE, and I wasn't reassured at that time that it wasn't going to go through twice. But she's got the nerve to argue with me, and not very nicely btw. I'm going to call a manager tomorrow, I'm too angry right now to bother, but they need to get it together. read more

Publix Deli is normally a pretty good place, but when it comes to their new "Smokehouse" meals, don't bother. You are supposed to order these an hour ahead, which I did, so that they will be ready for pick up when you show up. In both cases, this was a major fail on the part of deli management. The first time I ordered ribs, got there for pickup, and nobody knew where the meal was. Someone finally found it in a food warmer. It was lukewarm and the ribs were flat out cold. I had to microwave them. The second time was an epic fail. I ordered the chicken half, showed up and was first told they were out one of my sides, I was ok with that. What transpired after that was the counter clerk telling me they were also out of what I ordered (chicken) and it would take 30 minutes to cook. I told him this was unacceptable and he just kind of turfed me off. I went and got the MOD (manager of the store) and he went to the deli manager on my behalf who then said it was in the food warmer the whole time. By now I have wasted 30 minutes of my lunch hour trying to pick up my order. The manager was kind enough to comp the meal which I barely had time to even eat at this point, I got it back to my work place and it too was lukewarm to cold. Microwave again...just like last time. This is something they seriously need to work on before they offer it as a menu item. Publix deli is really good for cold sandwiches, kind of ok for hot items, and seriously lacking on service and product in regards to the smoke house items. This is a shame because there are few enough places to get a take out lunch in Braselton and now, for me, there is probably going to be one less. read more
