I always try to get a Pub sun when I visit Publix since we don't have them in Indy. My husband and I both got sandwiches during the busy lunch rush. The women working were kind and efficient despite being busy. I had the chicken tender sub tossed with Buffalo sauce. It was good and filling. My husband had the chicken, bacon, ranch sub and enjoyed it. He saved the other half of the sandwich and ate it the next day and said it was just as good on day 2. The store was clean and organized. Can't say we'll be back since we don't expect to be in the area again but I recommend stopping here if you want a good sandwich! read more

I'm here all the time and always find what I need, and the people are very friendly! The place is always clean and you can almost never go wrong with a delicious pub sub. The reason I say almost is the only reason I had to take off a star. Our last experience at the deli, yesterday, was delicious BUT super slow. We've both worked food service before and understand what happens when there's so many orders and so little staff. But a lot of the reason it took 35-40 minutes total for us to receive 1 sub and 1 wrap was because the gentleman making our food had to leave the station at the request of every single ingredient to restock because the stations were next to empty (onions, lettuce, cheese, etc.) and had little to no urgency when doing so. Maybe a rough day, I get it. We're all human here. What I don't really get is the lack of support for him. As the line was growing, another gentleman put multiple mobile orders in front of him and proceeded to neither at least try to help nor reach out to anyone else who wasn't busy for help. As a consumer, of course my perspective is never as accurate, but it seemed to me like there were multiple people who could have jumped in. Now we'll definitely be back. We love y'all! but please support your people, especially your deli folks. Just thought I'd put this out there before someone with less space for patience and understanding comes along. read more

I had called in an order around 8:30 am for 80 wings (40 hot & 40 mild). I let them know Someone would pick them up at 12:30. My friend went to pick them at 12:45 and let them know he was there to pick up an order of 80 wings. They gave him 2 boxes of spicy. When he arrives at the house I was looking for the mild wings and realized they were never picked up. My friend called the store and spoke with the "deli assistant manager" and he said he would take care of it. I drove back to laurel canyon to get the mild chicken and spoke to the assistant deli manager told me that I did indeed receive the 80 wings I ordered and paid for. I let him know that I did not because I ordered 40 hot and 40 mild... I received 80 hot and that is not what I requested. He then went to the back to see if he could find my mild wings.. came back and said he didn't have any more. With a lost cause and missing wings.. I turned around and a lady approached me that she has mild wings and she was suppose to have spicy ones. We traded. And I started heading off and manager said I was lucky because all they had was my 80. And I am lucky that they had it. He also stated that he isn't getting to put a ticket on it but for me to go to the register for it. As if I would just walk out. The whole experience I had at this Publix was not what I would expect from Publix and what they advertise as great customer practice.. I received awful customer service and hope for better experience next time. read more

I have gone to a few Publix and other markets in this area and I love coming to this store, especially since I live around the corner. There is another larger store a few miles away. Yes it's slightly smaller footprint than other Publix but it has everything I need here. The service is excellent and store is very neat and well stocked even during nutty COVID times. I'm amazed it's never busy and always an open cash register. Oh and they always offer to take out your bags to your car. Coming from the North I am not used to this level of service at a grocery store. read more

I ran into a problem at the Laurel canyon store. I came to the register with 8 Gatorade and was told I could only buy 2. There was no signage and the shelves were fully stocked. I find this ridiculous that you limit a product stating a shortage when the company just changed there packaging. Limited items like TP or water during an emergency I understand but not Gatorade read more

One of the nicest, most friendly Publix's I've ever been to. During our visit today we had three separate employees help us find items in the store and ask us about our day. The store was clean, well organized and pretty large as well. Drive past it.... worth the extra 2 miles to go to the Publix or Ingles up the street.... you have to check the dates on everything, if it's on sale there is a good chance they are out, 20 piece wings in the deli- usually not 20 wings, stuff they have marked on sale may be signs left from the previous week, if you want to special order a product they will take your info and never follow up... I could go on... if you want some of the friendliest people in the world.... stop in and visit they are really nice... but overall the worst Publix I've ever shopped at regularly.... read more

Excellent store Great staff. Easier to Show you where everything is and they know right off. All Delta are good. LOVE the meat, deli and bakery Meat within cut any meat to your requirements. Deli is spot on, usually Covered up, but they are fast and through. And the kindest bunch of people you'll find. Bakery. Has some fantastic selections and afraid to meet the challenge of any request you give. read more

Was not very pleased with the attitude of the cashier, "Frank". Very rude and disrespectful. The man needs a personality and more training. I was expecting some good ol' Publix hospitality and help getting my groceries to my car, but as soon as I paid I became invisible. He had the audacity to "shoo" me away. I got home to find many items misconstrued, leaking bags, and had my grandson help clean egg off the floor. I will be more cautious of which checkout line I choose, if I return. read more
