Although I have for Publix within 5 miles from me my mother is not well in an assisted living but has a huge craving for popcorn jelly belly jelly beans! Although I am a Kroger person at heart my mom is a Publix person and loves the Bogo and certain things she wants only from Publix. This Publix has a jelly belly jelly beans machine on the wall you can fill up 1 to 2 pound bags of your favorite flavor which helped me because I can only deliver to her once a week and I swear she lives on jellybeans. The place is laid out well and I also get her other supplies here when I'm here because I can jump on 85 and be down to Hamilton Mill in no time where she's located. Staff is great the deli and bakery have great selections as well as the flowers. Another great public location highly recommend! read more

Do not trust this pharmacy with your hand written prescriptions from your doctor for controlled substances. I just went to order a refill for my son's ADHD medication. I previously turned over to them 3 months of refills from the pediatrician and have only filled two. Today they tell me they don't have the 3rd refill on file and look at me with blank stares as if they didn't royally mess up. They did not appear troubled in the least. This is not only extremely frustrating for me since I now have to go back to the pediatrician a month early and my son will most likely run out of his medication before we can be seen, but it is a dangerous and suspicious business to be losing prescriptions for controlled substances. read more

Went here last night to get subs and sushi. The sushi was pretty blown out with only three options left. Which is understandable because it was 8 p.m. The seafood clerk was really nice and gave us a small cup of eel sauce that we requested. The deli only had 2 visible workers up front. one slicing meats and one making subs. The wait was about 15 minutes with two people ahead of me. Two more employees came out from the back which helped speed up the process. The staff was friendly. Checkout was fast. I used to shop here often and have always liked that it is not that busy especially for such a busy area with the winery across the street. The bakery manager is always really nice also. No matter what. I am someone who loves and proud of Publix. Unfortunately, I had really bad experience with the pharmacy. The pharmacist that assisted me was very rude and didn't believe that I got a call the pharmacy. Another pharmacist assisted me and explained that some of order was ready and some wasn't to come back later. I asked if I could just shop around and wait for it to be filled and she ignored me and asked to help the next person in line. This is unacceptable and Publix should really have a talk with the pharmacy on how to better assist customers as well as there attitude. read more

Typical Publix subs line. Always backed up bc they have the slowest person making sandwiches. To them online orders are way more important than the 12 people in line also purchasing other grocery items. Publix only gets away with it bc their only competition is Subway read more

The deli section has great food and they give you generous portions. They have a good variety of lunch offerings at a great price. My favorites are the chicken tenders and chicken wings. They also have really good sandwiches. The deli associates are always friendly and helpful. read more

Tonight at CLOSE of the store I was rushing to get many things for my daughters first birthday tomorrow. A big bottle of wine fell on the 3 dozen cupcakes and squished half. 4 employees were so concerned for me that they took them back when they were supposed to be closing to re frost them for me without me even asking or making it a big deal. I love Publix. Of all of the places that I've lived where there are numerous local grocery stores, I have to say that I think Publix is the best. The stores are always clean, the staff are always very nice, the quality of the produce is very good, and the prices are pretty competitive as well. I always have a good experience shopping here, and I miss having a Publix where I live now. That being said, this location is no different. While visiting my family for Mother's Day, I was able to stop in here for groceries that the family needed for our cook out, as well as buy some flowers, balloons, and cards for my mother and my sister. The only good thing going is the BOGO on. Although this Publix is 5 minutes from my home, I rather drive several more miles to Krogers, Target, Walmart, or CVS several miles down at least, I can get fresher meats, produce and hassle free prescription refills. This store has dropped the ball, compared to other grocery chains/stores, better prices. The meat dept.$$$$ beef filets, t-bones, NYStrip cuts, chicken and so called fresh fish are TOOOO EXPENSIVE, for about to expire-sell before BROWN turning SPOILING meats for purchase..Really! Fruits and vegetables are spoiling, withering once home to cook the next day or so. Are the produce sitting on the shelf longer than usual due to increase in prices, making buyers reluctant to purchase produces and meats, close to expiration 1-2 days and this Publix still sale? Unbelievable! Also, Publix brand products are equally as expensive as the popular brand labels, soap, body wash, cleaning products, beer and wine. Body wash and Shampoos increased almost double, for the same popular brand labels you can purchase much cheaper at Dollar General, Walmart, Krogers, Target, etc. Publix prices are extremely elevated in this failing, crazy economy. The Pharmacy...so, I was told by the older gentleman pharmacist, who was extremely rude..that, since I was using GoodRx for my prescription, I would have to receive a Generic medication over the usual non-generic medication. No insurance--than generic meds. After explaining to him, I do have prescription coverage, but I wanted to get the best price for the non--generic medication, which I've been taking for years. Oddly he didn't realize he was speaking to a Healthcare Provider and I most definitely let him know his practice was ethically disturbing and Publix Corporate office was be contacted. Overall, I most definitely will not return here. read more

So disappointed in the NO Customer Service in the back salad section . I had several items in my cart, planned to get a salad or 2 plus other items. I think her name was "Becky" & a young male CO worker. I commented that I was hoping to find some salads on sale today. She replied, "oh, we NEVER have salads on sale here.". I kindly replied, " I saw several on sale here a couple weeks ago." & the male said, "oh, you must be talking about the deli.". I said ( again), " no, it was here.". To which the woman looked @ the man & said, "Well, I've been working here 6 years, & NEVER saw a salad or sale ". I apologized for upsetting them (she seemed quite agitated) left my cart there & left the store without any purchases. I would not have written this post here if there had been another spot on your site to post. Seriously? I considered my options, one was not to say anything, but seriously, I expect better service from Publix. Hope someone there reads this. read more

The staff in the bakery/deli should train the cashiers how to give proper customer service. I drive by this Publix to go to the one on Spout Springs and Friendship Rd. since the cashier and managers are much friendlier. read more
