They not only stopped supporting local schools, but failed to notify participants of this "difficult decision" but still have the checks up at the front of the store to give the illusion of caring. It's always interesting to come to Publix and not experience great customer service. They're usually top tier with customer service, so it's sad. Dramatics necessary. Came here and there were several items that I needed to get from where a guy was working. I get it, you're working but you shouldn't be so wrapped up that you overlook customers. It's not like I was asking for help, it would have been nice for him to do the very least of moving out of the way. Or asking if he could grab anything for me. He was literally in the way of 4 of the 7 items I came for this visit. Just be more cognizant of your surroundings. Respectfully asking. I wasn't acknowledged by a single employee during the visit. Went into store about 15 minutes before close on Friday May 30th. I was purchasing a 12 pack of beer when the "manager" approached me and started mumbling something to me and accusing me of being intoxicated. He said he "wasn't sure" he should be selling me alcohol. I was completely sober and this was obvious harrassment towards me. He was a shorter chubby African American fellow. He was mumbling when he spoke to me like he had a mouth full of marbles so it was difficult to understand at first. I do not appreciate this treatment. My family gives this store a great deal of business. read more

Everything about the Publix Thompson Bridge is on point. In other words, they're the bomb if you're dirty or nasty you probably shouldn't even go in there because they are one of the Cleanest in town. They know where everything is. My daughter insists on using this store for our online / pickup grocery orders but it's always something. Usually they don't honor the buy one get one free coupons which throws our whole budgeting off. And now, on Christmas Eve, we find out that both our milk and chocolate milk were long expired upon delivery from our last order after someone got sick. read more

Absolutely love this location. Ran in to grab some lunch on my break and Lisa was incredible. She was so kind and friendly, helping my husband and I pick our sandwiches, offered us the combo option, and even marked on the bag His & Hers. She truly went above and beyond to make us feel appreciated. She made my day!! I love this store and prefer shopping here over closer grocery stores. Literally couldn't move any slower. The food is good but I could've went home and made my own damn sandwich in this amount of time. I had to pick up some last minute items. They were giving away beautiful Thanksgiving/Fall centerpieces and pies the night before Thanksgiving. Friday afternoon I stopped by the store to ask for a cake that I didn't see in the showcase. They told me that they could have one ready for me by the next day noon. Kudos to the store their caramel pecan cake was the absolute best birthday cake I've ever tasted! My wife was thrilled with the look and elated with the taste! Thank you thank you. As modern grocery stores go this is a small store, reminds me of the stores when I was a kid. What they do have is a great staff and high quality selection. The bakery is the best! They beat the other local stores hands down. The made some custom cakes for an Eagle Scout ceremony that were perfect. We got a board head turkey ham and roast beef deli sandwich here to split. It's too bad as we both got deathly sick with food poisoning. Nothing minor, we were very sick for five days. I couldn't eat anything for 7 days. It was over the weekend so before I could see my doctor the only thing that could be done was to let it run its course. I have eaten 100's of these sandwiches without incident. The day after this happened I called the store to alert them of the problem. I spoke with a nice young man who offered to give me another sandwich. Where do they find these people. I left my name and number but haven't heard from them again this month. After waiting 45 minutes from placing our online order, we get to Publix and our order wasn't ready. We get to the counter and are told they're out of bread. The first lady says sorry, we're out of bread. We tell her we had online orders, so another person comes over and says he'll get the manager. The manager walks the second guy to the bakery and hands him some bread. They proceed to make our subs. It has now taken an hour and 45 minutes to get our 4 footlong subs. Super annoying, but okay. We get home and on one of the sandwiches we paid the extra 1.00 for avocado was a single slice of avocado, with the skin still on, as well as THE PRODUCE STICKER. The other sub with the 1.00 guacamole had none. There was so much wrong with the whole situation! Need better management and employee accountability at this store. May need a health inspection as well. So disappointed in the service and quality at this location. I would not recommend this location's subs (which are usually good quality subs). read more

Love publix! I know it's a grocery store, but it's a must visit every time I go home. This location is a bit on the smaller side, but they still have a good selection. A few things I must have are pimento cheese from the deli and their salmon/seafood dips. Their bakery, sub shop and deli are top notch. I wish they havd publix in NYC! read more

This Publix is ok. It's smaller than you would expect for a Publix grocery store. The deli is very small and I felt bad that they only had one person working there at 6p on Friday. The checkout staff also was as friendly as most other Publix I have been to. This location is good to run in for a few items, but not to do a whole shopping trip. read more

My wife and I shop here very often. The reason we still shop here is the customer service. It is always excellent. They remember who we are and offer suggestions for meals. I love Publix in general, but HATE this location. The store is way too small to function properly. The aisles are too narrow and you can only get 1 cart through at a time. There's a much smaller selection that other Publix's. The parking lot is laid out poorly. The Publix on Dawsonville Highway is MUCH better. read more

I ordered two special cakes for events that were back-to-back. The first cake was decorated incorrectly, and the baker re-decorated on the spot upon pick-up. The fixed decoration was definitely sub-par, but at least they tried. The second cake was decorated as promised, even if the 8" round cake leaned a bit to the side. In the end, for the price, the cakes were fine. Added bonus that they were delicious and moist. Publix bakery is a good choice for a special order cake, although I'm not sure I would use them for a very formal event such as wedding. Graduations and anniversaries, however, are fine. read more
