Shouldn't offer delivery service. Workers are rude and will never fulfill your order if they have to pull it.

This has to be the worst Walmart in the entire United States. Not only is it filthy, the employees are by far the rudest and ignorant group in one store. I guess no one else would work there. I haven't been there in at least five years and if it possible, the store got worst. I know that it is in Gainesville, but even in Gainsville there should have standards. It is horrible. On another note, being as bad as it is, it is mind bougling that Walmart would choose to re-do the store. What a waste of money. Putting all that money in a "F" store didn't improve it at all. Came in to the auto center to get a nail taken out of my tire. They managed to lose my wheel lock on that tire and the wheel lock key. I came back the next day to get it and they claim they needed to get the manager Carlos or Jackie to call me back. However they never called back. Jackie seems to avoid any customer with a probI will continue to visit them to get this resolved. read more

Went in Monday for a standard oil change,the simplest job to perform but the next two days I had a oil leak a nice size one at that. Went back Thursday to tell them of course they didn't do. The tech took the car into the shop, I didn't see him look at one thing drove back out within 5mins. I had zero leaks before I went to 400 Shallwford RD, Walmart. So, I paid them $34 to destroy my car now I have to pay a real mechanic to fix what they f***** up. Never going back here, I give you a negative star. read more

Was there today Cashier Migueal was absolutely, one of the rudest persons I have ever met, went to purchase Dog Shampoo 9 am because the pet stores were not open, store was very busy only had a couple lines open and a fee slef check lines open, got into a line that had 2 customers in front of us a lady was there purchasing a bunch of gift cards, the line was building up, was taking longer than usual to ring them up, I said really " and he stopped what he was doing and told me I could go to another line , and after that he proceeds to slow down and after the lady was done he decides to open a gift card and explain the gift card to the lady he, I guess I am wondering why he didn't send her to customer service , at anyway the worst service ever read more

I placed an order. They took my money for the entire order. They sent me a note saying my order was ready for pick up. I get here most of the order was not available, was out of stock with no communication to me. And the people working with me were completely rude and wouldn't help me check my account just to make sure I got my money credited so now I'm left dealing with my credit card company. Slapdash shopping/delivery service. I ordered two items for Sunday store delivery, a bottle of Vitamin C and a big pack of paper towels. The vitamins were delivered, but I have no idea what the driver did with my paper towels. Just two items and he still blew it! Then, early this morning I was notified an item I had ordered the night before was now out of stock and couldn't be delivered. This contradicted what the website was saying, so I immediately ordered it again, and this time it arrived without a hitch, which seems to prove how clueless they are about their own inventory. Worst location I've recently been going back too. The customer service is awful, every time I leave the store I noticed the Hispanic greeter has always stopped white folks more often than other Latino people of the same color. I've even gone to the lengths of using check out lanes were an employee scans all my items to avoid any suspicion of being a thief of any kind. read more

This Walmart is the dirtiest, most disorganized one I have ever been to. The parking lot and entryway are both strewn with litter, the baskets do not get cleaned out and have trash in them. The store itself looks like you are shopping at a flea market. The departments are disorganized. Clothes on the racks are not where they should be. Food on the shelves is scattered. I guess the store managers simply either do not care, have no control over the employees, or will not hire enough people to maintain the store. read more

Went into purchase a shotgun at 8pm. No one was at the sporting goods counter and when I finally talked to someone they said the employee that ran the counter left and he has the only key. My husband worked at Walmart for 10 years and employees are not supposed to take keys home. Then we went to costumer service and asked for an assistant and was completely ignored for 30 minutes, while the assistants were in view chatting. I drove 45 minutes specifically to get this shotgun and left with nothing and no help from anyone read more

Cash is only accepted at in person checkouts. That is terrible. Why would they only accept cash at the 'manned' stations.

As usual, I had an excellent experience at the Wal-Mart store. The only very minor inconvenience was that I had to wait ~3 mins for the associate to verify my ID for a restricted item. read more

I dont think this walmart is thay bad. Definitely congested, get your nook ready while you wait in line to check out. This is a super center, it has grocery. Prices are competitive and what i like is that you can even find organic and high end items here. Now the pets section has everything you need, but not exactly brand names, so the products may be a bit inferior. Ample parking, has a pharmacy and cashiers are acceptable. read more

My family and I recently moved to Gainesville, so we have been frequenting this location, trying to find decor and hardware. Last night, we bought a set of dishes ($30,) towels, kitchen appliances, etc. Our total was extremely high, even considering what we had bought. We flagged down the cashier supervisor, assuming the clearance towels we bought hadn't been marked off in the system. She waved us off and assured us it was fine. However, when we got home, we took a closer look at the receipt and finally discovered that we had been charged 4 times for one set of dish ware. Totalling agree up to an extra $90. We called and were handed over to a very argumentative manager, who claimed we were lying. We then had to go into the store with our receipt to meet with him so we could watch the cameras to see our cart. We waited in customer service for well over half an hour, while the wait staff made its way through the line, claiming a manager was on its way. After all that, the manager never even showed up. We finally got our money back with no apologies or sincerity. An awful Walmart with horribly unfriendly staff. If you must shop here, do your business, take self checkout, and expect no more than that. read more

I ordered on line so this is just the closest store to me. I ordered 34 crisp 6 different flavor of crackers , the driver never knocked on the door or rang the door bell, I did see a truck in front of the house so I sent my husband out to get the box. We opened the box it was full of bubble rap then the 6 boxes at the bottom . All 6 boxes there were in pieces! don't ever buy crackers on line from them , they should have wrapped the boxes! This place is super grody and the employees are super rude. The self check out machine was bugging out and wouldn't accept my card an employee comes over and sees the problem and she calls me broke. I tried to explain to her I have more than enough money needed to pay and its the self checkout not my card but she just keeps yelling that I'm broke and don't have any money. I would leave zero stars if it was possible! I had the worst grocery pick up experience ever at this store yesterday! I checked in with my Walmart app when I arrived. After waiting over half an hour I reopened my app to discover that it said my groceries had been delivered! I called the number on the sign twice. No one answered and the voicemail box was full. So I tried calling the store and no one answered. I saw an employee in the parking lot and told her my plight. She promised to check on my groceries when she went back into the store but she didn't. When I had been waiting for an hour I decided to go inside. At the customer service desk two employees rolled their eyes at each other and told me to walk back to the pickup area and check on my order myself. After calling out to the employees for a couple of minutes, the girl I had seen in the parking lot earlier came over and said she would look into my order. She came back with my groceries fresh out of the cooler. NO ONE had touched them until that point! I had to take my groceries out to my car myself. Then I tried to call the store manager to let him know what had happened and at least suggest that the pickup area needed additional employees. The customer service department told me they didn't know where the manager was but they expected to see him the next day and would mention me to him. I can't find anything on the app for leaving a review or voicing a complaint. I never plan to do grocery pickup from this location ever again! read more

I know, I know, Walmart is Walmart. There always bad or mediocre, but this is prob the worst one I have ever been to. Like most Walmart stores, it has bad employees, ok-ish products and dirty environments. But what makes this one so bad is the check out lines! This is MY Walmart. Never had a bad experience here and I've been a customer since this store opened. The pharmacy staff is the best in town and through my wife's very long illness I have come to love their concern and attention to detail. The pharmacy manager asked me once about her and as I told my sad story I looked up and she was crying. These people are my friends so take your made up complaints somewhere else. read more

There fruit section are awesome!it's self checkout is great because i scan fast and they accept everything.it's employees are super nice and i've been going here for a long time and my family enjoy's shopping here!They also add very cool decorations on holidays and unique items that are just super cool.So these other people that say that they rate it 1 or 2 stars and they say the employees are super rude but don't trust them because they are wrong and negative about the store!So give this walmart a Compliment for there awesome things! :3 read more

This Walmart is terrible and has gone downhill in the 14 yrs I've lived in Gainesville. It's filthy with isles so full of product pulled off the shelves and thrown on the floor you can't get you shopping cart through. Plus all you hear in the parking lot is very very loud Mexican music and very very loud noisey cars. Very dangerous to wlk in parking lot because of all the loud cars racing around. I've had problems with the staff in electronics in jewelry. I don't know if they are homophobic or what. But everytime I ask a question and try to get some assistance they act like they do not want to help me. I was milling off an iPad air to someone for a gift and I went and got a big envelope and went to the electronics department to ask the guy if he could pull out an iPad air to see if it fit in the envelope and he told me no. I asked him if I were going to buy the iPad with you pull it out and he said yes. He would not let me see if the iPad would fit in an envelope that I was buying. And then when I finally talked him into doing it for me, he mysteriously lost the keys. The keys to the display. So I waited for over 30 minutes and he could not find the person that had the keys. And I left. Been satisfied in a knowing if that iPad was going to fit in the envelope. read more

Awful. I go in here often because it's just so close to home but if you go in after 9PM, prepare to have only self-check out lanes open or only 1-2 lanes open, period. No matter what time of the day you go in, prepare to wait in line at least 15 minutes minimum. When it comes to groceries, most of the time the food with expire in 1 or 2 days of the date that you buy it. If you go in late, boxes all over the floor...everywhere, every night. If you ever need help lifting anything heavy or finding anything, don't even bother. Customer service is nowhere to be found. Do yourself a favor and go to the Oakwood Walmart instead. read more

Went to walmart with friends and we got accused of stealing. CSR Jacquline came over without knowing the story and took cashiers side and started accusing us as well, she stated we had an attitude when she automatically accused us and got an attitude with us. We got accused of stealing jeans and a radio. We kept showing them my friend had Hollister jeans on and nothing under those jeans but underwear and we didn't even have a big enough purse to steal a radio. They failed to have common sense. Once they realized their accusations didn't add up they did not even apologize and embarrassed us. I don't think I'll ever come here again. poor management. I came here every other day during the week because I live so close but I will drive to Oakwood if I have to. read more

I did not even think about Walmart being "bad." Sure, they can be in a bad neighborhood or kinda old but that's something that can't be helped immediately. Usually they are consistent?? WRONG. We just moved from the Sandy Springs area so we are in culture shock here in Gainesville. But I have already learned to Add five more minutes to our drive and just go to the Oakwood location. This Walmart has terrible customer service and please do not ever return anything here. You will be asked fifty questions by Mary at customer service as to why you don't want the item. (Rolling eyes) Although we have only been to this location three times. Each time I either couldn't find an item, or it's almost expired! Check your dates people!
