Living in Winder now, I miss my Kroger soooo much!! Those of you that are Publix fans, they are great stores with good bakeries, but their protein is just outrageous. I love my Kroger. I come for the chicken, bacon ( always $4.99 lb), standing rib roast on holidays $$7 a lb, great staff, been a staple for me for 20 years! Pharmacy is well run and great team and can't praise this location enough!! I spent $200 today after walking out on Publix!! They wanted $7.49 for chicken breast, $7-8 a lb 80/20 ground chuck, steaks were $22 and up. Kroger whole chicken- $1.25 a lb!! I got 4!! Legs $2.25, breasts $2.69 vs $7.49!!! No brainer. Don't even need the sales to save 40% over Publix next door or anywhere. A must go to place for me . As a chef who shops regularly, I make money by shopping here !!! Trust me read more

I went into Kroger to buy boiled peanuts and after asking three associates with palm pilots in their hand where they are I went to the manager. One told me where they were but they were on the top shelf and they did not offer to help me get them. I went to the front of the store to get the manager and saw another boy in the self checkout lane. I asked him where the boiled peanuts were and he said I don't know. I asked him to check his palm pilot and he still said I don't know. I went on to do my shopping and when I went back to checkout he asked me if I found them and I said yes but they were on the top shelf and I couldn't reach them. To respond to that he said cool. I told him that wasn't a good response he said what do you want me to do, help you? He then walked back to his work station. I told the manager and she said they only do what they are required to do and walked off. Terrible, terrible customer service! I will never go back to Kroger again. read more

Every time my husband brings home something from here it's past date and old. Today it was ranch dressing last week Hershey chocolate. it's annoying to open something just to realize it's old. they clear don't clean their shelves. this has been going on for years! and the only reason my husband goes there is because he works close by. very disappointing!!!!!! read more

Terrible customer service at the self check out lane. The lady working the self checkout lane was rude as hell! I was trying to scan my loaves of bread and she comes by, tells me I'm doing it wrong. I told her it's 2 for $1.00. She replies, I know! She might have been going through something or having a bad day but I sure as hell won't be coming back. Always out of sale products! Employees very seldom speak except the cashiers. I hate the self check outs I come there to shop not to work!!

I've been shopping at this Kroger for nearly 10 yrs now and if it weren't for saving money and Redmond in the produce department, I probably would shop elsewhere as I always stifle a giggle when I see their signage declaring "faster checkouts!" because this Kroger is always sooooo slow, not to mention they are very often low on, if not out of entirely, inventory that I always seem to have on my list. Some of their staff over my years of being a regular are surly and sour, and others are a delight to see, like the aforementioned Redmond. I could write paragraphs about his 5-star customer service. The recent-ish layout changes took way longer than the original 6-week estimate, resulting in wandering aimlessly and occasionally being offered assistance in finding items. There are still some products that were put in the most bizarre locations that make no sense, but I've adjusted and for the most part, can find what I'm looking for. Other than the very slow check-out and spotty inventory, I enjoy shopping at this Kroger. read more

I switch between this Kroger and the Hamilton Mill store. We have been shopping at them for almost 10 years and WOW have they both gone downhill. Many of the traditional human checkout lanes have been replaced with self checkout. The remaining human checkout lanes NEVER have more than 2 open and it doesn't matter how busy it is. Yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I had a cart full of items and there was one human checkout lane open. There were 6 or 7 shoppers in line and it was not moving. The shopper two carts in front of me had a very full cart so I decided to leave my items and leave. This is the 2nd time I have had to do this because this store is poorly managed and/or understaffed. There will not be a 3rd time. I left my Kroger rewards card with the employee assisting the self checkout and told him why I was leaving. I asked him to please pass that on to his manager and left. read more

It's kroger/grocery. You probably see one every few miles while driving through any metro Atlanta city. This Kroger is one of 8nearest for me to shop. I keep hearing about a Super kroger/Kroger Marketplace with FURNITURE, BABY DEPT, and JEWELRY etc... This is to open somewhere located in NE GA off Jesse jewel in Gainesville GA. I love the 10 for$10 and many other sales such as buy1get1 specials the managers special are another bargain. There is a few really friendly cashier's who welcome me with a smile whenever I'm shopping. Most employees are helpful without asking for help. The deli dept makes some really good subs. I sometimes forget and head straight to publix. Kroger points are the way to go when your ready to fill up your tank. You can always use for fuel at the fuel station to knock off a few cents.. read more

I drive past at least 7 Kroger store pharmacies to have my prescriptions filled at this pharmacy because Dr. Christiane Wilson works there. Dr. Wilson is a highly dedicated and caring pharmacy professional. She is a highly personable, professional and caring pharmacist who represents Kroger well but more importantly represents the pharmacy profession well. She would represent well any pharmacy where she works. Her assistant Cheyenne is also caring and represents Kroger well. Absolutely the BEST!!! No improvement needed. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I tried to purchase four items with four coupons and according to Jessica, that is not allowed. Every time I go into this store, some teenage employee tells me something different. When I confronted her about this, she acted like a smartass, trying to look cool in front of the other employees. Is that the way your employees are suppose to be to customers? Management is a joke at this store. They probably encourage this disrespect towards customers. read more

This Kroger makes me INSANE. If I didn't save so much money there, plus fuel points I'd shop somewhere else. First of all, the heart of most of the issues is that this store is no where near large enough to support the fast growing community around it. Every time I go they are out of something I need, which results in a very irritating second stop. Most of the time it's something in produce. I will say that most of the time there is someone working in produce and they have always been more than happy to check the back for out of stock items. The store has super narrow aisles and WAY to many displays. Trying to navigate around other customers and the displays is aggravating. Staff for the most part are friendly and helpful. Ed in the Pharmacy is super nice. Also, a shoutout to Patel in produce for hunting down some green beans! Management could work on having enough cashiers. Also, one suggestion...check out how Ingles does their checkout. You just push your cart up and the cashier unloads the cast as they scan. No need to unload a cart just to reload and it will cut down on power and maintenance for the conveyor belts, not to mention freeing up valuable real estate. In addition, those conveyor belts have raw meat etc on them and I've NEVER seen anyone clean them in this store ever. Just get rid of them. I hope Kroger is considering building a larger store in the area soon. read more

This Kroger never has anything in stock. The store is dirty and not taken care of. The customer service at this store is terrible. Plus the produce is awful. They never have basic produce in stock like peaches, corn. I'll never go to this store again. read more

Do not go here if you are here in a hurry!! Every single time I come here there are two lanes open. One normal lane and one 15 items or less lane. They are always crowded and I literally wait in line for longer than it takes me shop. They are trying their best to push everyone to go to self checkout. So when I go to self checkout because they have given me no other option, the checkout station always messes up and nobody is there to help. I always have to flag someone down!! It's so dumb! I guess I'll just go elsewhere!! read more

This was our new go to Kroger until today. We made a list this morning and and headed to the store. Being Friday, and having a long weekend at home alone together, we ended up buying more than we intended. Good for us. Good for you. Right? Well until we were at the self-checkout and got scolded for having "too big an order".... Oh wait it was only about $100. Not exactly big. And when we struggled to fit it all back into our little cart - your customer no service associate didn't offer to let us have a large cart. This really was a weird experience. I've never had a retail experience where someone was mad I bought more than intended. I didn't catch the associates name. She's older, white hair, about 5' 2", glasses, and a little heavy set. Sorry for the bad description. Every other time I've had a young lady that is about 4' 9" in height and is the kindest person I've dealt with at your store. She's why we kept coming back. Kimberly at the fuel center is a BLESSING. I was at the fuel center today and apparently their system shut down. While I was needing gas desperately, she was absolutely helpful and treated every disappointed customer so professionally. I am a regular at this Kroger and I have seen Kimberly multiple times, and every time she greets me with such a warm smile. Her "have a happy day!" makes me feel so good even on my worst days. She definitely deserves a raise, ESPECIALLY after today! read more

I've always preferred Publix the staff here is always much friendlier there. At Kroger, the staff just doesn't connect with me.

Kroger is always pretty good. Quick service. Good food. And we love the whole checkout-fuel points-Kroger+ Card thing. And we always go there to gas up. But, we do shop at Public across the street more often, for no reason. xD read more
