Very disappointed in the outcome of my sons cake. I picked this up on 06/28. First, on my arrival to pick up the cake, someone spoke to me and asked if I had been helped. The lady helped me BUT did not place the cake on my cart as is always done at Publix and did not offer or give a cake cutter. Didnt really think anything of it and asked for the cake cutter. When I saw the cake, instantly was disappointed and thought what a waste of money. (see images below) due to the top of the box being pushed down it caused the characters to move and mess the cake up. The bakery also wrote my sons happy birthday in a horrible spot and looked sloppy.I ALWAYS get my cakes from Publix, but I won't be back after this. read more

Employees are indifferent, apathetic, and rude. Expensive. Shopping here is one of the most unpleasant experiences of recent memory. They never have enough cashiers open. Customer service is non-existent. Parking is a nightmare. read more

Came in today 10/5 to pick up an online order. Was completely ignored by the delivery workers for 10 minutes and when a man came up the lady quickly assisted him while all she did was keep staring at me while i was waiting for some type of greeting or something. I suffer from bad anxiety and situations like that are very triggering. This isn't my first bad experience with the deli pickup which i will no longer use. I will only use the bakery for now one. I have yet to find a Publix I didn't like. It's always clean and have friendly people. Just depends on the area you are at to have the same items that you're used to seeing. Unfortunately, the international section is small and no tres leches cake but you still have your essential things. The fruits are always good at Publix. I lost my keys at this store and ashlee & elijah were so quick to help me! Elijah looked at the security cameras for me and under the aisles and ashlee was the one who ended up finding it for me! I went to Publix for a few things today, I'm in the express checking lane. This lady in front of me took out 1-$20, 1-$10, 3-$5, and 10-$1. The customer counted the money 3 times, handed to the cashier. The cashier counted the money. equals $55. She counted it a second time. She counted it a 3rd time stating that the woman gave her too much money. Counted it a 4th time, there is a good line forming. Cashier tells me, sorry ma'am, gotta make sure it's right, I'm livid at this point! Starts counting the money a 5th time. By that time, I am at the point of blowing my stack, so I just told her she can keep everything on the conveyor, and walked out!!! How in the heck are you a cashier, and can't count money!?! read more

Shoppers BEWARE! I was in Store 1251 in Bethlehem. GA. Tuesday, May 19, 2020. I noticed three employees over the span of 5 minutes while I was shopping....not wearing their masks properly. I spoke to a manger about this same issue just 2 days prior. As I had been at the Deli department and noticed an employee not wearing a mask while making a sandwich for a customer. The lady in the back office at the Deli department saw me take a pic and pulled her mask up to cover her nose... It was at this time that I decided I didn't need a sandwich that bad and walked away. As I was walking through the store I noticed two other employees not wearing their masks properly. One was cutting meat in Meat department and the other stocking shelves. I'm not sure how other shoppers feel? But, I want to feel safe buying food from a grocery store during the pandemic....not fearful of catching Covid 19 from my local grocery store. I'm not usually one to post negative reviews but unless someone speaks up things will stay as they are. My intentions aren't to get specific associates in trouble...just to get a fix on the lax safety practices that a handful of associates seem reluctant to adhere to. I do realize that the majority of the associates are following safety practices and to those associates...I truly thank you.. And for those wondering, I Always wear a protective mask while out to protect myself and others. read more

The deli today has broken my heart. They are continually allowing walk up orders instead of online orders that were order an hour ago. What's the point in ordering ahead if I can get it faster from just walking in? I purposely order an hour ahead to avoid waiting. I have sympathy for the workers they are going as fast as they can. I'd like to see management Enforce the making of online orders first. read more

OK here is my opinion on this location. Service is great, store is clean and the workers seem polite and eager to help. However, almost all of the times I go to this supermarket, I get the feeling the smiles are fake and some of the workers are upset at each other and don't want to be there. I must say though, this does not diminish the service, it's just the feeling u get a lot of the times. read more

I have opted to drive to another location to shop. I've shopped in this store for over a year and a half and she has never once smiled or said hello to me (in passing) like other store managers at other locations have. She's setting a bad example for her employees. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This is the only supermarket in close proximity of this small community but takes NO steps to support local youth. Whether it be Girl Scouts, softball teams, or the local high school football team, the managers go out of their way to enforce a "no soliciting" policy (in the parking lot mind you) with a gestapo-like fervor. This, coupled with over priced food stuffs is why I choose to drive across town for groceries. Kroger can't open fast enough. Save your money and shop elsewhere! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. The reason I am so upset with this company is because of the commercials that are constantly on my TV advertising their wonderful customer service. I have one arm due to surgery and it's very noticeable as there is a big white cast on my arm. Before I get started let me notify you that I did check out in the express lane which according to the customer service manager does not receive any takeout service or help with getting your bags into your cart. I found that astonishing so I asked her about it again and again she stated that the express lane generally does not offer that service. I would think when you have a customer there with one arm that's 56 years old you could at least pick the groceries up from the belt and put them into my cart. Obviously I had to carry them and load them in the car myself also because the young man running the register was not even going to set them in my cart for me ...the customer service manager, a tall nicely dressed black lady is the one who informed me of this. This is not the first problem I have had with Publix but I promise it will be the last. I will be more than happy to drive to the Ingles in Winder or the Ingles in Loganville before I subject myself to this treatment at the high grocery prices any longer read more

Have stopped shopping there altogether. Store has steadily gone downhill in the past year. Never properly stocked. Rude management and they don't care that the deli department has been in shambles for months. They never have advertised deli specials and there is ALWAYS a wait now for any kind of chicken or wings. They need serious competition in the area. Closest grocery store is Winder and it is actually much worse than this Publix. Walmart, here I come. Sigh. read more
