First off, I like this store. I shop here, no kidding, THREE TIMES A WEEK. From the deli, to produce, to the customer service counter, it is one of the better Publix stores nearby. Comparing them to the one that I pass to get to them, it is NIGHT and DAY, plus ANOTHER NIGHT...LOL That being said, my issue is with the bakery... I have placed orders several times (6 or more) and the orders were NOT filled. I will show up with my receipt, time of pick-up, instructions and still NOTHING. They just give me a dumb look, say "I'm sorry..." and I leave empty-handed. Luckily I have other shopping to do, otherwise I would be angrier. HULK SMASH!!! However, I just keep my cool and go on. When they do have my order (I play lotto on those days...), my order is over-cooked, even when I expressly asked otherwise (i.e. "light cook") as my receipt reads ..UGH Do not bring it up to management (I did that FOUR TIMES) Publix corporate (I did that THREE TIMES...), that does NOT help  In my strong opinion, based on their repeated screw-ups? DO NOT USE THIS PUBLIX BAKERY. Either go elsewhere or do what I did, grab an old-school Betty Crocker cookbook (the one in red and white checker)and learn how to make your OWN baked goods. I got food poisoning. I had gotten a pre done meal from their deli and i first realized something was off by the smell, then it went on to the aftertaste, then the looks of the food being weird. I only took 2 bites and that was enough to get me sick. Lady at the self checkout was nice tho. Getting food poisoning not so nice. Itd be appreciated if they'd change the food regularly instead of leaving it out for so long. read more

I had a great visit to Publix this morning. I wanted to buy a couple of pineapples, but the ones on display were not quite ripe enough. The lady working in produce greeted me and asked if she could help. I stated that I wanted pineapples that were more ripe. Conley went to the back and later came out with a box of pineapples that were perfect for my needs. I don't often visit this location, but I will definitely come here more often. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I was exhausted because I had completed 9 miles of cardio early this morning and just plain walking was a struggle for my legs. Conley's assistance saved me a lot of time from going to another store. By the way, the pineapples were delicious! read more

Danesia, who is the manager of the produce department, realized that there were no more ready to go salads. She made a delicious salad with all of the ingredients that I had asked for in the salad. She not only went above and beyond for me, but she displayed that leadership quality that your customer is always first!! read more

This Publix is much better than the Duluth Buford Hwy and the P'tree Ind locations in my opinion. Their bakery and flower selection (3 for $12) is always better. I LOVE that Publix offers whipped topping for cake frosting. I find buttercream and sugar icing too sweet. I will drive to this location for my cakes. read more

Kudos to the Publix on State Bridge Rd. We are in middle of Coronovirus pandemic. Publix offered, not only the usual hand wipes, but hand sanitizer throughout. The cashiers and baggers used hand sanitizer between every customer. Many stockers doing their best to restock shelves, yet always willing to offer help or assistance. I love this Publix. read more

I have been to my fair share of Publix Supermarkets, especially when they have great buy one get one free deals -- Haagen Dazs or Talenti! Every Publix is the same, friendly employees who offer amazing customer service. The reason I'm reviewing this Publix is because they are convenient and open "late". I was planning on going to Target at 9:50pm to purchase something, but found out they close at 10pm. Luckily, Publix is across the street and closes at 11pm! I knocked off a star because I'm not a huge fan of their prepared foods/deli section. My subs never turn out very well when I order at this location. However, they do have a dining/seating area (like many in Johns Creek) which is a plus. read more

Everyone one I've had interaction with is open and friendly and "yes they recognize regular customers". The store staff if seeing you confused will offer their assistance Walking into this like other Publix you are going find yourself asking "where things are" each store has a different set up. True story, Walking in one day abruptly stopped looking around for the signs that said pet food. There just happened to be an employee standing in front of me, he asked what I was looking for? Cat food was the response, he pointed at his cart of cut fruit I stared at him in confusion. He say's with an accent "yes I have cat fruit" and points again (he might be french?) I LOVE Publix! This one is particularly fabulous! Every time I go, I'm greeted and some of the cashiers even know my name. (I know. I'm there WAY TO OFTEN!) I just love it. The best birthday cakes are from Publix. Their bakery is excellent. Love their blueberry scones. I indulge in the spicy buffalo chicken wings every Friday. Can't beat em. Yummiest. I discovered that these wings are much better than the pricey low taste little ceasers wings... Apart from this the store has fresh veggies and fruits. Their BoGo sale is the best of all. Ordered subs from the deli twice from here. The first time they used rotten lettuce, which made the sub taste atrocious, then the second time they made the sandwiches about an hour late. The lady working was very rude as well. I recommend going to the other one on State Bridge Road past Jones Bridge. The hot wings aren't very hot, but they're not bad. This store is right behind my house so very convenient however the few times I have been there I have been very disappointed. The first time I brought home expired yogurt, which is also my fault for not checking the dates, the second time my husband bought infant formula that had the foil ripped off when we opened the lid and the third time I bought deodorant which also had the foil ripped off after opening the lid. I did not go back and complain or ask for a refund because I just don't have the time with a newborn but very hesitant to buy anything else here. read more

As a new Atlantan, I prefer to dwell and romp OTP. Way OTP. Preferably Northeast. So when I lucked upon this Publix while looking for paper and other crafts at the Hobby Lobby next door I was squealing with delight when I walked in. This the the 4 th Publix that I've visited and by far the best. It is also the largest that I've seen. If there is better than this one....I want to see it! The deli is way better, the layout is better and the employees were sublime. To be fair, the employees at all the Publix' I've visited were pretty cool, but when I checked out and was carded for the wine, my day was made. The checker told me that I looked like I was in my 20's!! OK, maybe she was lying when she said that, but it still made me feel good. I think this will be my Publix of choice from now on. Besides I am totally in love with the area. For me, it knocks my original preference of Buckhead/Sandy Springs off the map in terms of where I want to settle. read more

I go to this store almost every night. Up until tonight there was a big difference between shopping with them and Walmart. Well, NOT ANYMORE!!!! Goodbye Publix... It certainly WAS a pleasure. Tonight, not in the mood for cooking (I rarely am) I decided to get chicken wings from Publix. I always get their rotisserie chicken but had never tried their baked wings. So, I walk up to the deli and ask the clerk if I could have one of their baked wings to give it a try. To this she responded, "I am sorry, but we do not offer "Wing Tastes" I can give you a little strip from one if you would like!" My jaw dropped. And when I asked what was she going to do with the rest of the wing she responded that she would throw it away. I told her that "It was just terrible customer service" and walked away. To my dismay, when I relayed this story to the store manager he not only confirmed what the clerk stated but said "We will use the rest of it for another customer who may want to try it". Did anyone say TACKY!!!!! Or EW!!!!!! I asked him if he realized that only at walking distance there was a nice Wholefoods Market with a LARGER THAN LIFE salad bar and at two-minute drive there is a Kroger that also sells hot food. He just stared at me as I left the store. I think that it is fair to say that The Pleasure of shopping at Publix is as extinct as the good old Dino's! On a lighter note... while shopping at Wholefoods I found out that the pound of Salami Nathalie eats every week is $3 cheaper there than at Publix. I even had the price thing all wrong! read more
