Mrs Sandy is the best part of this Facility......$71 move in "special" turns to $93/mo. Then every few months, Goes up....$71 to $93 to $101, to $120 to $140 to $160, finally I had enough & left that thieving "business" @ $173+ $15 ins + $35 fees totaling approximately $223.00!! How's THAT for $71 move in special??? Its a SCAM!! read more

The staff at the location were fine. The phone staff are rude and off putting. I've used the storage area for less than 3 years and in that time, the cost has more than double. It seems they raise the rent every 3 to 6 months. My boxes as I remove them are covered in spider webs and there are droppings around the outside of the storage area. The layout of the storage units is awkward and the place to pin in and out are completely messed up for traffic coming, and when you leave you can't even see the gate to know if it is working from where you use the code. Also, if you leave at 9:01pm, you will get 1000 emails and phone calls about how you are not allowed to be on the property outside of the posted times. On the plus side, which I believe would work anywhere, there was no actual damage to my goods or bugs or pests inside my boxes. read more

WE ARE LEAVING AFTER NINE YEARS. Throughout the years, the on site staff are consistently great- that's why they get 3 stars. But it ends there. We will be leaving. Our prices have nearly doubled but one of the key amenities was discarded. That was the final straw that makes this site untenable for people of a certain age. Carts. They used to have them. They made a business decision to no longer provide them at one story properties. Why? I still have to drag my stuff to a unit on the First floor. We are both 60ish and moving a carload of boxes to a unit is a good way to get injured. Trying to balance boxes while using the key code is a good way to get injured. We prefer not to be injured. That's a simple business decision on OUR part. If theft of the carts is a problem you could check them out at the office. But you can't do that. We asked. I suspect the real reason they don't have carts anymore is because of theft. But they don't want to tell you that people are *stealing things*- so they just deflect and say, "We don't provide them on one story properties. " read more

I am shocked by the 5 star reviews. I don't think any of them have ever dealt with another Storage place. The staff at Public Storage, George eat all we're always friendly and nice. Nothing negative to say about them. The lay out is horrible. Coming in off a busy street and only two parking space up front is difficult. Leaving you have to work your way around the facility to the gate to type in a code. The prices look great until you realize that you are required to get insurance which makes the price almost as much as others, which are AC regulated. It gets extremely hot in the units so shrink wrap all your furniture and wood, especially during summer months. My advice would be to go right next door or down the street, pay about $10 more a month and get an AC controlled unit. read more

This is the worst storage facility I have ever rented. My rent went from$76 to $92 in six months for a 5x10. They lured you in with low rent at first but then they get you. I'm leaving on April 2, and they are charging me for the entire month. Is that even legal? As to their staff, they are all rude and not well trained . They have a high turn over, as I have dealt with different people in my short stay. If I was you, I would rent somewhere else. I would have given them a zero star but is not an option. read more

I was excited when the phone rep told me I can sign up online and pay before I arrived in town to unload my uhaul. They were supposed too..i text me my access code. Well the code never came. I was locked out. Nobody answered the phone. I knocked on the managers door nobody answered. I had to pay an extra day for my uhaul. When the manager finally returned my messages she made no offer tip reimburse my fees. That was not a good holiday experience. I do not recommend. read more

George was a life saver. I am trying to move while dealing with a broken leg, being unable to walk. George brought all the paper work out to the car for me to fill in. He went back and forth several times on his own broken foot, in order to get me what I needed. I considered this above and beyond and thank George for his attention and kindness! I have moved into my unit and the unit and complex are all scrupulously clean. It's great! read more

This looks small from the street but it's actually a large property. I got an inside space for a great price. George is tons of help and very friendly. He's the man to see for all your moving needs and questions. Use public storge and have a safe mind. read more

Public Storage - Huge property! - Self Storage Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

I will never again use a public storage. We had our RV camper there for 4 months and they went from charging $91 plus tax to $121 plus tax. We weren't even there 6 months. Their excuse was everybody's charging that amount - lies - I called around. We were able to move it to a bigger space for $75 (includes tax). They only had 1 RV spot. So in essence we got ripped off. Think before you go to a place that lies. read more

I just had to move back home to San Antonio from Utah to help family. It was a whirlwind of chaos and I needed to find a climate controlled unit in town. I came across Public Storage the day before arriving in town with my Uhaul and George called me the next morning to confirm my reservation for a unit. It was rather impressive and he was awesome. I got into town and to the office 30 minutes before he was off. He took amazing care of me and got everything squared away. It took so much stress off my entire move. I've had to use storage unit places before but never have I experienced anything like this. It's like they actually cared to have me in there. Kinda cool. Thanks for the help George. Public storage has been a good place to rent from. The price moving in was really good but I had to add the insurance on at the end of signing the contract. Then a few months later they raise my rent another $10 approximately. The manager George has been very helpful and polite. It has served my purpose well so far. Thank you public storage. read more

I just want to let everyone know the price your quoted is not the price you'll pay. After 6 months they increase your rent and say that the price you signed up for is just a promo rate and that after a few months and then each year after they will continue to increase your rent. They conveniently leave this out during sign up, Super shady...they should tell you that upfront when you sign up! My rent went up $20 a month now, If I would have known that I would have went down the road to the new storage facility that was just built and got a unit that was the exact same size but temperature controlled for the same price or a little cheaper! I was going to keep this unit for a few years but after finding out that after only 6months they increased my rent and then each year after that they're going to continue to increase my rent again they lost my business! I pay my rent on time every month and I'm never late...what a way to reward your customers. I'll be leaving this company now and moving my stuff to a new storage company that will earn my business for the next year to two years until my home is built. read more

Had to find a storage immediately and Public Storage was open on Sunday!! Once arriving at the business, Ermilio was very friendly and courteous. He assisted us with the right size storage unit and processed our paperwork very quickly. After we started unloading our belongings, Ermilio brought us some cold water! I'm writing this review because the amount on my storage keeps increasing. I have been with Public Storage for a year and half and this is the 2nd or 3rd time it's gone up on me. It's increasing by $23 as of Jan. 1st and my total amount will be $232.00. I was paying $209 and that was an increase from the summer of 2016. I enjoy this storage facility because it's close by where I live and have always been on time in paying my bill, but this increase is ridiculous! read more
