The staff is wonderful. I'm giving them a three stars because you can't get in with their app. I don't care if it's raining snowing or whatever you have to get out of your vehicle punch the code in because even pulling up almost touching the gate does not activate the gate to open. And this has been every time I've had to access the facility. So the reason I'm giving a three is because the staff is wonderful but the facility itself I won't use it again. Initially the value was worth it, but then they jacked up my price by 20 bucks a month which was crazy so I had to get out of there as quickly as I could. If I terminated my lease today. read more

This was a very good business. I am disable and Alex offered me his desk chair so I could sit and wait my turn to complete a payment. This was very heartfelt jesture. As for the company, there was enough room for some type of seating for customers, one never knows when another situation such as this will arise. Melissa informed me two months ago that I had until the 6th to move out of my unit. Yesterday I went to check out of my unit and asked her what the prorated balance was for the unit. She told me that the rent starts on the first and cannot be prorated. When I explained that she had told me other wise..."Oh, company policy has changed....Sorry. Read your lease." Nice. Awesome customer relations. Bugs in the unit after moving out. Water leaks present. I will never rent from Public Storage again. read more

I've spent over 3 years storing all of our belongings here only to pull my stuff out today and notice it was infested with roaches and rats!!!! The reason for the infestation: water damage that caused the ceiling to collapse, creating an access point for the animals and for mold as well!!! What was the point of paying extra money for an indoor climate controlled unit? To top it all off, I was told they couldn't do anything about it other than file a claim with our insurance. Had the ceiling been in good condition in the first place, none of this would have happened and all our belongings wouldn't be destroyed!!! read more

Selected this property based on a few reasons, one it definitely wasn't based on these Yelp reviews. Might I read them yesterday I may have not rented. I did however select this location based on RECENT google reviews and most importantly access. I am referring to its location off the 281 frontage and easy turn around either return north or head south. Needless to say cost was another influencing variable. So here's the low down for newbies complaining about storage insurance fees. All storage rentals require it, you don't necessarily have to carry it through them. You can check with your property insurance to see if its covered through your policy. Here's another one I don't want you to get surprised with, because I did my first go around. Always verify before you rent to 1) see the unit you will be getting and 2) if it supports your lock. Many places will require you to purchase a lock through them. It runs about $19.95 so again, check before you sign. Last but not least, I am concerned about the photos I just saw so I will be packing non-perishables and be keeping rat bait in my unit. I selected an outdoor 5 x 10 for easy pull up access. If anything changes in the next few months I will most definitely update this post. read more

The unit was clean and we just started our lease today. Melissa was well informed and gave us all the info we needed. But, nowhere on their website does it say that you HAVE to purchase insurance, for a minimum of $11/month! The reservation I made on-line shows total move-in payment due was $25, $1 for the first month and a $24 admin fee, which was explained on-line. But when we got there, Melissa said our state requires insurance. So why isn't that specified on the web site? She couldn't answer, other than to say it's a generic website but the insurance policy is state by state. We were already there, so of course, we weren't going to drive around looking for another place w/all our stuff in the back of the pick-up. So, we didn't really have a practical option other than to pay the $11 for the insurance, which will be billed monthly along w/the rent. Grrrrr! Terrible business practice not to disclose this required fee! I feel scammed! Not Melissa's fault, of course, but the company's! We'll get out as soon as we can, for sure! read more
