However,this rate increased within 2-3 months. I rented it for 11 months and within this time my rate increased FIVE TIMES. Before I decided to move because they were going to charge me $360! How in the heck this unit increased from $150 to $360 in less than 1 year? They will try to explain they don't guarantee pricing nor offer contracts. They price month to month! I realize public storage doesnt take responsibility for items stored on their property but I think there should be a certain expectation of security. Horrible company with a pathetic customer service model. I found it impossible to actually speak with a person in the office at various locations. I even made an appointment with a customer service representative and was told someone would be at the office at a specific time to show me a specific storage unit. I showed up, the doors were locked, lights were turned off, and nobody was home. The company needs to provide site maps or layouts of all their storage properties, so when you purchase or rent a unit, you are are not thrown to the wolves and have no say as to which particular unit on the property you get. As things stand, the company picks the location for you. Public Storag's prices are probably the best in town, but the headache, as I have described above, makes it not worth it. read more

Worst service EVER!!! We've had nothing but headaches with this facility. The only time they answer the phone is when you say you want to rent a storage unit. What you will get from Public Storage is an answering machine and DON'T bother to leave a message because no one will ever return your call. If you make an appointment to meet with the property manager, expect to wait at least 30 minutes to figure out that no one will show up!!! In addition, the gate to enter your unit will sometimes be OFF LINE and you will be stuck outside waiting (over 2 hours) to see if you can reach someone to get the gate open! Don't waste your time and money at Public Storage!!! All you will get in return are headaches! Oh and I forgot to mention the ridiculous price increase after 3 months!! read more

Rat feces and urine in unit. No carts to help move your stuff. The climate control was a joke. My thermometer showed 90 degrees inside. That is how hot my apartment was when the A/C wasn't working. I had a great experience at the same facility 10 years ago. No one is in the office unless an appointment has been made. I'd say try Cube Smart or anywhere else with a good review. Moving time?? I had to store my 2 bedroom apartment into storage and quick. I was excited with this new way of doing it all online. It was stated that I did not have to go in the day before and do anything. Modern times?? Well things did not go smooth. I only got the text on gate code like an hour before I was about to off load my stuff. Company told me I had a four number locked number. After driving up and down each aisle.. there was no locker with that number. Called the local number since it's time of business. No answer. Link to map of where every number unit was- threw up error message. I called three more times to still never get ahold of anyone. FRUSTRATING!! Finally called the nationwide number. They stated this particular storage place is self serve. That no one will ever be there to assist us. Might have been nice to know that before picking a unit here and setting it up. We will see what other things might happen. read more

I can't say enough about this Excellent Public Storage location and it's manager. A bad storm ripped the roof off my house, so I had to move my belongings quickly. The online process made it super quick and easy to move in, even though their office was about to close. I was happy with being able to rent online and the unit would be ready for me. It advertised move in specia, but by the time I got to estimated total it was already 30 dollars above what I was supposed to pay then got to check out and it charged me 60 dollars more than what I was supposed to pay. They require insurance also so another big problem. I ended up moving out of the unit the same day because I found another storage facility that honored their move in price and didn't require insurance. read more

Made my reservation online. Spoke the the manager twice before packing my car to come get my unit. Neither time did she tell me there was any issue. When I arrived she drove me to my building before telling me that the room I booked was not available and the only rooms available were smaller and more expensive. I got this public storage after making a reservation 2 days ago and calling regarding an appointment yesterday and leaving a message and asking them to get a call back but never happened. I have. 40 food flat bed gooseneck trailer that i wanted to store it while im in town that would be 2 days every other week that means 4 days per month which the rent would be $127.00 per month, I paid for the 2 days of July and full August and administration fee. 3 hours later I brought the trailer to park it there and asked her (Rude Stupid bitch De Anne) to come and check if I'm parked in the right spot since the spot was not marked with number so she came and said you have to go forward to the next spot so I moved the trailer to where she asked me then she said this will not work because the gooseneck is sticking out of the space so i have to get a even larger space even though the gooseneck is about 4 to 5 foot above the ground but i said fine if you have any larger space I'll take it but if you don't then i have to cancel and want my money back so we went to the office so she can refund my money. She said i would get all my money but the administration fee of $29.00 that is not refundable. Why I said and she has to pay all my money because if your in the business of rental and if you can't understand what a 40 foot gooseneck trailer means that is not my problem. Make story short at the end she did not pay the fee and she was very rude and mad to talk to customers that I told her lady go and get laid so you can release some of that anger so she answered Fuck you bitch in front of her trainee so I told her your the fucking whore bitch and left . After calling the customer service for days and asking for a supervisor regarding the issue and leaving 4 massage's because the representative can not transfer calls to a live supervisor and the only way is to leaving a message so they call you back. At first i left normal massages per day but did not received any call back till i left the most nastiest massage today a week after leaving the storage facility I received a call back from 818 2448080 and a supervisor was on the line so explained everything to her about how unprofessional was DEANNE and did not have a knowledge of equipment. Today also I've found out that the regional supervisor of public storage is Mr. Mark Tagger that he should call and apologize about what has happened to a customer and refound hundred percent of my money unfortunately I have not received any phone calls from this regional manager Mr. Mark Tagger. I was very happy storing my RV at Public Storage for a very fair price. The on-site manager was quick to react when someone attempted to break in to my rig -- while doing her security check, she saw that someone had tried to pry open the door and she immediately contacted me, texted me photos and contacted the Police. I decided to move to a different location where I can store my RV inside an enclosed unit for greater protection (at 3X the cost), but I remain happy with the service I received from Public Storage. Their website is great and made everything simple, their location with quick access to I35 was very convenient, and the on-site staff was always available and on watch. read more

I came into this facility to check on renting a 10 X 40 parking space. Hilda was working that day. She was very polite and helpful. Although there were no 10 X 40 parking spots available, she took my information down and would contact me when a space became available. Hilda went above and beyond to help me with a space to park my work truck. Hilda informed my of the paperwork I need to acquire in order to store my work truck in this facility. She contacted me to inquire about the size of my work truck to see it would fit in a 10 X 20 space. Going as far as having me bring my truck to the facility and parking it in the space she had suggested. She took pictures and sent them to her manager to see if it would be out to far into the drive. She was able to get it approved for me to rent the smaller space until a larger space became available. As soon as a large space was available Hilda contacted me to ask it I would like this large space. Once an appropriate large space became available for me to rent I was a smooth transition from space to space. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needed a place to store anything. I was about to give this location a 5 stars because of my initial encounter until a there was a problem within two weeks of me signing a contract. I am an active duty military about to transfer. I needed to store a household goods and my wife is planning to use the unit for business as well for about a year. I was offered $1 for the first month as advertised which was excellent because I wasn't planning on moving everything until the end of July.The10x20 were not big enough so I needed 20x20 and therefore after 4 days of signing the contract, I was informed that a bigger unit is now available. What Christy didn't tell me was that the bigger space is not eligible for $1 first month rent because I am not considered a new customer for staying in the 10x20 for 4 days. I was asked to speak to Mark, the manager but I was told there is nothing he could do. With that, I ended paying $434.00 for a storage that could have cost me about $100 from Jun23 to Jul31. I was planning to be there for not less than a year paying $299/month, however, I will be moving at the end of July 2018 and take my business somewhere. Great lesson learned! read more
