Roy was incredibly nice on the phone and arranged to send two men on Monday morning. He and Josh arrived in Gonzales right on time, loaded up my stuff, drove an hour and a half to San Antonio, then moved me into my new apartment in under four hours. They also unloaded my parents' pick-up truck full of furniture and boxes. It was an absolute miracle. They were nice, efficient, and unbelievably strong. One of the pieces they moved was a 200+ pound dresser/vanity, and they made it look easy! I HIGHLY recommend Wrangler Moving! Do not recommend this company. Their staff was very slow and came unprepared. They didn't have all…read morethe packing supplies or proper tools to remove Tv mounts on day 1 as promised. Day 2 they took 13 hours to move half of a house with two small trailers. They also had no tools and had to use ours (simple drills, screwdriver etc). Keep in mind we paid to have them disassemble and assemble in the one day move. They ruined a brand new mattress with grease hand stains, and did not put our front door back on hinges properly. And to boot...they quoted $4,700 for the move and then hit us with a $5,300 bill, saying their guys worked 30 mins over the quote. The main issue being that they took longer because we had to unpack and find our tools to allow them to use. ***edit to respond to Victoria*** This response is a perfect example of the miscommunication and lack of professionalism. Nobody ever requested to leave a tv up. The day of packing, my husband was playing Xbox and said "whenever yall need to pack this let me know and I'll shut this down". This is also when we discovered that they did not have any tools to remove the TV, so, the TV wasn't going to be removed either way that day. Nobody was ever asked to "make beds" but we paid to have them put together (assembled). The movers also were not met with hostility. You had a group of young men with neck tattoos talking and bragging about their time in prison in front of everyone (including our children). My husband did the responsible thing, which was to address the staff as a whole. I'll mention he also tipped each one $100 bill at the end. We did this because it was apparent that the fault was on managment and not the individuals. They came both days unprepared without proper tools. Two separate groups of movers on two different days being paid to pack, dis-assemble and re-assemble furniture. (How is that possible?) Nobody was ever "cussed out" in person or on the phone. My husband called the very next morning and left a voicemail for the owner that was never returned. This response and lack of accountability again proves why I would never recommend this company.

Update 2/14/2024:…read more Well, unfortunately, re-assembling our bed did not go well, to put it as kindly as I can. I'm a pretty straightforward person so I'll just tell it like it is. Ben and Pavel arrived on time, and got to work on the bed. All of the hardware, except for one L-bracket, was there. I ordered a new L-bracket, and it was on the way from Wal-Mart, set to arrive within 2 hours. Anyway, Pavel did most of the work on the bed. He was kind of rushed, and didn't seem to take much care with what he was doing. I could hear him drilling, and could also tell he was stripping screws. They didn't come with tools, but we had all that here anyway, so they used our tools. My husband happened to come home early so he could help them out. He's assembled that bed a few times over the past 25 years, so he knows how it's supposed to go together. First, he told them that the canopy goes on last, after the bed and headboard are in place. Pavel still kept trying to attach the canopy pieces, although I had told him the same thing. He told me that the canopy will the support the bed frame and everything else. I shook my head, explaining that the canopy really doesn't support anything, although it does attach to the frame. The frame and drawers support the entire structure. He noticed that Pavel, who was doing most of the drilling, was not doing it right. He was drilling holes where no holes were needed, and when Rob tried to explain to him how it should go together, he was met with silence. Pavel told me he knew how to build things, but I explained the if this thing isn't put together right, it could end in disaster. For example, the boards weren't properly in the frame, and things were quite misaligned. Pavel wasn't very mindful of certain things, like the heater cord/sensor being under a board, and it being pinched. I pointed that out, but fixed it myself. Pavel really didn't seem to listen. I even downloaded instructions on how to put these things together, and Rob went in to show him, but he didn't seem interested. When Pavel told me that he ran out of screws we knew that it would be best to not have him complete the job. He shouldn't have needed any. I was tired of trying to explain how it goes, and my husband was, too. I wasn't going to risk further damage to my bed, or worse, disaster due to improper assembly. Once the bed is disassembled and all the hardware saved, there should be no need for new hardware. I am attaching some pictures and a short video explaining what was wrong in that area. The guys were polite, and they did move a dresser and a nightstand back into place, as well as a bookcase and some books. However, the main thing for which they were hired yesterday, the bed, didn't go well. Pavel was trying to build the bed, rather than assembling it. Original Review: I had a rather unusual job, and due to some unforeseen circumstances, I needed some movers ASAP. We are having new floors installed, and needed help disassembling an enormous canopy waterbed and moving some very heavy furniture out of the rooms they were in. In desperation, I reached out to Tom with Move With Us, and he quoted me a very reasonable price and sent a couple of guys over immediately after the job they were currently working. The two gentlemen arrived exactly on time, and were very polite. They did everything we needed and more. Nothing was broken or damaged. This is one of the best, if not THE best, experiences with movers that I've ever had. I will need to have all the stuff put back the way it was, and I will definitely be contacting them for that.

During the move, their crew wrapped and transported my 55-inch Samsung television, which was fully functional prior to the move. After unwrapping and powering it on at my new residence, I discovered severe panel damage, including cracking and vertical line distortion, ruining the TV. We observed the crew drop a plastic box containing personal belongings and drop our mattress, demonstrating careless handling practices. I booked the Basic Move option and was informed verbally that damage claims are considered on a case-by-case basis. Despite this, my claim for replacement value was formally denied, citing lack of a specialty TV box and basic coverage. Attached are photos of the damaged television. Sharing my negative experience so others know what to expect.

Placed a quote request on Yelp and was bombarded with responses. A lot of the companies requested more information; some didn't respond. Spoke to one guy who said he would send a quote and never did. Richard Bailey gets 10 stars for price, communication; recognizing the sense of urgency and the crew he hired to complete my move. He actually texted me right away; then we spoke briefly. Based on the conversation he gave me a verbal quote and booked my move for the next afternoon. His crew showed up on time. We're very professional; had great personalities and got me moved in two and a half hours. Nothing was broken either. Assembled my washer and dryer too. One of the crew members even gave me decorative advice as I moved from a 2300 sq. ft. house to a 1300 sq. ft. apartment and my couch didn't initially look right where I thought it should be! Fabulous company. Absolutely recommend them.
