How clean it is and they check regularly and there are motion detectors in each unit. That way if someone goes in your unit without your permission it notifies you on your phone. That information and the location, which is closer to where we live is what made me pick this self storage place. We weren't quite ready to get a unit, but knowing the information David gave us it was the right choice. He gave our information to Christa and she called me on the phone and introduced herself. She was so pleasant and sweet. She told me she would keep our name and if a unit popped up that we were looking for she would notify us. So the next month we were in town, Christa had given us another call, so I stopped by yesterday and got to meet Christa. Such a sweet wonderful person. So pleasant and just a downright nice person. David showed me a couple of units and we decided on one and Christa helped me get all set up. This place is so clean and spotless! The inside and so clean too! I would totally recommend this place to anyone that needs a unit. I have rented several times from several different storage places in and and around San Antonio and schertz for the past 10 years and the prices here at Gruene are way better than the others and I had even called around the Gruene, New Braunfels, and Canyon Lake areas asking about prices and these guys were much cheaper. However don't let the low prices fool you, the facilities here are clean and neat and all look new with cameras and exits appropriately places. They have discounts on their website and even though I didn't know this, the owner made sure to tell me about them and offered them to me. The receptionists even asked if I had a big moving truck and needed more room to turn around and if I did she was going to pick a storage room where I had plenty of room to turn around. Besides all of this one of my favorite things that was supplied is a dumpster for customers to use! This should be a normal thing for all storage facilities but I assure you it is not!! Only thing I would recommend but I don't know of any facilities who do it, is to have a donation area setup for stuff that is too good to go into the dumpster. Really want to like the facility and location, but such manipulation of cost knowing that you have limited options to move contents ...only reason I'm even leaving a review. If you need to rent for a couple months, all good. If you are renting for a longer term head somewhere else, because you can't predict 'market' adjustments ...which never seem to go down just up.

Roy was incredibly nice on the phone and arranged to send two men on Monday morning. He and Josh arrived in Gonzales right on time, loaded up my stuff, drove an hour and a half to San Antonio, then moved me into my new apartment in under four hours. They also unloaded my parents' pick-up truck full of furniture and boxes. It was an absolute miracle. They were nice, efficient, and unbelievably strong. One of the pieces they moved was a 200+ pound dresser/vanity, and they made it look easy! I HIGHLY recommend Wrangler Moving! Do not recommend this company. Their staff was very slow and came unprepared. They didn't have all…read morethe packing supplies or proper tools to remove Tv mounts on day 1 as promised. Day 2 they took 13 hours to move half of a house with two small trailers. They also had no tools and had to use ours (simple drills, screwdriver etc). Keep in mind we paid to have them disassemble and assemble in the one day move. They ruined a brand new mattress with grease hand stains, and did not put our front door back on hinges properly. And to boot...they quoted $4,700 for the move and then hit us with a $5,300 bill, saying their guys worked 30 mins over the quote. The main issue being that they took longer because we had to unpack and find our tools to allow them to use. ***edit to respond to Victoria*** This response is a perfect example of the miscommunication and lack of professionalism. Nobody ever requested to leave a tv up. The day of packing, my husband was playing Xbox and said "whenever yall need to pack this let me know and I'll shut this down". This is also when we discovered that they did not have any tools to remove the TV, so, the TV wasn't going to be removed either way that day. Nobody was ever asked to "make beds" but we paid to have them put together (assembled). The movers also were not met with hostility. You had a group of young men with neck tattoos talking and bragging about their time in prison in front of everyone (including our children). My husband did the responsible thing, which was to address the staff as a whole. I'll mention he also tipped each one $100 bill at the end. We did this because it was apparent that the fault was on managment and not the individuals. They came both days unprepared without proper tools. Two separate groups of movers on two different days being paid to pack, dis-assemble and re-assemble furniture. (How is that possible?) Nobody was ever "cussed out" in person or on the phone. My husband called the very next morning and left a voicemail for the owner that was never returned. This response and lack of accountability again proves why I would never recommend this company.
