This facility is in poor condition and managed poorly. The front gate is currently just wide open, no entrance code required. It's been like that over a week. The overhead light in my unit has never worked. One time I went in on a Sunday and the exit gate was broken. I had to go in and talk to someone on the video screen to try and get it open and even they couldn't do it. I finally had to park my car on the wrong side of the entrance gate, go back in and talk to someone on the video screen and they had to keep the gate open for me long enough to drive out. Then today I get there and my bill is paid in full but they had cut my lock off and put a padlock on the unit. the cut lock was just left on the ground. I couldn't reach anyone on the phone (they never answer the phone) and I had to go into the lobby and talk to someone over the video screen and they said it must have been a mistake. They had to direct me to an empty unit to get a new lock and told me the combination to the lock on my unit just so I could put my own stuff away. This storage facility is terrible. I should never have rented here. read more

The first women I spoke with couldn't confirm if I was even getting a refund or not, the second person I spoke with said in two weeks.. it's now past two weeks and I called again now they are telling me 8 weeks until I get my refund. Been with Public Storage for several years now. Outside access unit is not great but was affordable when I moved in. Left Midguard storage across the street because service there was terrible and they were way to expensive. Public Storage units are not as nice but access is easy and they were cheaper, but they've been slowly raising their rates. My rates have almost doubled since I've moved in. I've tolerated it for long enough and am leaving them for another place not far way. Climate controlled unit of the same size, cleaner, and inside access. Not as easy for loading/unloading but you can't just keep raising my rates for a good paying customer. Good by Public Storage. read more

I have used this storage facility before and I was happy with it. I decided to use them again and got a really great price for the size unit I got, however I thought I was getting a drive up unit outside and ended up with an inside unit that is not climate controlled and it is upstairs and there are no elevators, also they do not have the carts inside to push multiple, or heavy items to your unit. The other thing is the office only has a kiosk now and no real person to interact with. read more

Roof had a leak and destroyed half of mine and my girlfriend's stuff. They offered the insurance when we came moved our stuff in, but we declined because it's covered under a separate policy. So, if you decline the coverage, even when their own building is at fault for the destruction, they claim they cannot help you at all. Here's the thing, I expect that a storage facility is more responsible with their roof situation. A storage facility should never shingle a roof with residential shingles, this is a point of failure and should never be allowed when your main goal is securing and protecting other people's stuff. Put a metal or otherwise leak proof roof on your building, inspect it REGULARLY, this is not a residence, you protect people's stuff for a living! read more

The entire staff has been absolutely amazing, and always a pleasure to deal with... if I forgot it, they had it, if I was confused about it, they explained it, if I complained about it, they fixed it,.... they got me across the finish line on a very long ordeal with moving.. ( I have a total of 3 units there. There is a wide range of size options, and the pricing changes to meet your needs. ) ex: I have a lot of lawn equipment type stuff in one, so it doesn't have to be fancy, it's a lower price, I have "good furniture" in one, that ones nicer, and a little more $. etc... ) MY poor planning created the need for 3 units-wishful thinking that I'd get rid of more stuff before the move. After having our move to a new apartment community interrupted by an unforseen circumstance, we chose this facility to store our belongings. A friend of ours is renting a unit here and recommended them. I went online and did the reservation. Literally one minute after I submitted it, Kathy called me to confirm she received the reservation. We arrived later that same day with our first truckload and Kathy was so welcoming! She showed us the units available to choose from and was just extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I explained to her why we suddenly needed the storage unit and she was very positive about the outcome of our situation. I just received a follow up phone call asking how the move went and if we have any concerns. This is awesome customer service. We feel like we are in good hands here. read more

I was on my way to Public Storage with a friend, and we kept missing the turn... Admittedly, we were heading there very close to their closing hours... We had called the main office for a reservation, and the gentleman on the phone told us to call this specific location afterwards to let them know we were on our way. The route we took got us a little turned around, due to the fact that the street we needed to turn on was hidden... I had to keep calling this store for help with directions. (No fault of his own, we were just rushing ourselves too much to notice the exact street.) Robert was the employee on duty, and he was incredibly helpful for everything; Helping us locate the building,and setting up the unit. He was very polite, and stayed a couple extra minutes after close so that we could get there and have the information we needed to start moving things in immediately. Once we finally got there, we didn't make him wait TOO long, Robert showed us our unit, made sure it was going to be the correct size, and we filled out the paperwork. He answered every question we threw his way honestly and efficiently. He was even very patient with us, despite our late arrival. (We also both can be pretty scatter brained.) All-in-all, I 'm grateful for his help, and I know my things are in great hands. read more

DO NOT USE! MOLD THROUGHOUT WHOLE UNIT! EVERYTHING COVERED IN MOLD. Manager and Regional Manager of no help since we had our own insurance on my dad's stuff. They would not even send and email to our insurance company! Prior to our discovering the mold, they raised the monthly rent by over 60%! BEWARE. CROOKS. They will increase your monthly rent with illegal notice. The contract you sign states they can increase the rent on your unit with 30 days written notice. I am renting 2 units from them as we try to sell our house, and the rent has been steadily increasing on BOTH units continually now (I have had each unit for 3 months). Also, I am not on an "introductory" special, I was told when signing the paper work that my rent will not change. I just received a letter on 10/03/2017 that stated my rent is going up another $10 on 11/01/2017. I'm not a lawyer (but am getting one), but that isn't 30 days by my calculations. If you only need a unit for a month or two, then feel confident in your price here. If you need it longer, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Also, no light bulbs work, or have been replaced in either unit. Do not use this facility. Maintenance is not existent. Light bulbs are never changed and there are potholes by the gate. Buildings are covered in mildew. And forget to take advantage of specials if you already have unit. I was in need of additional unit and I was told its only for new customers. I moved my stuff out other two units next month and move them across street. And also If you move after 6th there is no pro rate. Overall very poor experience. read more

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I cannot say I'm 100% pleased with our experience. The facility was clean and well lit but the climate control was not sufficient. We used a unit in between moves. When it came time to move many of our boxes had to be replaced and re boxed because they had caved in due to the amount of humidity in the unit. Our clothes smelled "mildewy" and dank. The bigger surprise came when we were charged $160 for our second month of storage. Perhaps this surprise was the result of miscommunication as the staff claims, but regardless please be aware of what you're walking in to. Sure the first month might be $1 but it's not worth the hassle and the hUGE expense after the first month if you ask me. I think if you really double check the pricing in advance and you check the unit ahead of time to make sure it's not damp it'll be well worth your time and money. read more

Moving can be awful but this team made it a great experience. Though I was indecisive on the size of unit I actually needed Rosanna and Lashanda helped me to find the right size and location of unit to help ease the move in process. They are very friendly and pleasant to work with. I caused a few snags in the process but the property manager Kathy responded positively and helped move things along. read more

DO NOT Rent from this place. I rented a storage unit in the beginning of August. I went to the unit to pick up a few things and when I came back to my unit I found that my lock was taken off of my unit and a different lock was placed on my unit. I asked the property manager why this happened she had no ideas. I told her to check the cameras, there were no cameras. They have no security to prevent your belongings from being stolen. I couldn't make it back until the following week and while I was gone they cut the lock and put their own lock on my unit. Then when I came back the following week the very first thing they tried to do was make me sign a paper releasing them of all responsibility of my belongings being lost or stolen. The paper also stated that my lock would only be cut if they are present. I told them I am not signing that paper because its not true. They told me until that paper was signed I couldn't access my storage bin. The lady eventually crossed out the untrue parts and I signed. I went to the storage unit and got my stuff. Spoke to the district manager about this horrible situation and how terrible the customer service was. No apology was received. She said, "the storage container looks full so I don't see what the problem is?" I explained to her that just because it looks full doesn't mean that nothing is missing. I also don't appreciate people going through my storage unit. I am paying $200/month for a secure unit and its not secure at all. Anyone with a pair of lock cutters can go and take everything because you guys don't have cameras. All I wanted from her was an apology for the all of the inconveniences they put me through and for the negligence on their part. Still to this day I haven't received an apology. read more
