    Excellent service by Ebony was the reason we chose this location. Competitive prices didn't hurt either.

    Absolutely horrible! I rented a unit and when I got there on my 'move-in' day, my gate code didn't…read morework. Tried it multiple times, but the gate keypad was telling me the number wasn't registered. I tried the kiosk in the office, but the kiosk wasn't working at all. The 'call' button on it was unresponsive. I tried calling the number from the mobile app, but it immediately told me "No routes found" and hung up, like it was an invalid number. Left and went home, got online and looked up another number for them. Called it, and when prompted, I selected the option to "Talk to property manager". It again, immediately went "No routes found" and hung up. I then tried the chat feature on their website. When I told it my gate code wasn't working, the oh-so-helpful script they have running tried telling me how to find the gate code. I already know what the gate code is, and it just isn't working. It's pretty obvious that, despite me PAYING for the storage unit, they never actually activated the gate code in their system. I selected the option in the chat to talk to an agent, this is at 4:30pm Eastern on a Saturday mind you, and their chat responded that Agents are only available from 5am - 6pm Pacific. 4:30pm Eastern = 1:30pm Pacific. Edit: I finally got a hold of an agent on Monday, and he was absolutely terrible! I explained what happened to him, and how I tried the phone number and the chat support, and they weren't working, and he basically called me a liar and said that, since I didn't contact them the day it happened, they wouldn't refund me. Absolutely inexcusable customer service! I will adjust my review slightly, because one of my complaints was noticed by a Public Storage district manager who reached out to me to apologize and offer a full refund. I do appreciate her making the effort to make things right, but they do need to have some serious re-training of their customer service. If you get in a chat with "Jimmy" Jiro G., you may as well just end the chat and retry and hope you get a better rep next time.

A moderate…read moreincrease over an extended time I could find reasonable, but almost doubling 3 months into an agreement is both excessive and deceptive. Tried reaching out to customer service to see if that could be rectified, and received a runaround, and just canned responses about it being a monthly price agreement subject to increase with 30 day notice. I call BS - this was not an adjustment based on market conditions. It is obviously a planned business practice following the old pattern of Bait & Switch, and a reliance on complacent clients to simply accept the change without argument.

    BUYER BEWARE: Pricing, Contract Terms, and Risk Concern = AVOID!…read more I went through Midgard's required online signup process and immediately ran into a major issue: I was asked to provide full personal information--including photo of driver's license and payment details - BEFORE allowed to review the contract. You can see the terms with AFTER deciding to move forward in the process. This practice is unethical, at best - especially when website design that way. The pricing structure also raised red flags. The advertised "Web Special" is a short-term intro rate. See Kathy H. Jul 9, 2024, review "I have been here 3 months and they have more than DOUBLED my rent." Also see Dennis D. May 1, 2025, review, "Billing is a mess. Quick to take money without asking. Customer service is rude and unreliable." There was also a disconnect between what I was told and what I read. Two employees indicated there could be a 12-month "no rate increase" option if I declined the web special. However, the contract I reviewed allows for increases within a shorter timeframe. The contract also places meaningful risk on the renter. It states the company is not responsible for certain types of damage, including water-related issues from other units. I came across reviews describing situations where renters experienced significant damage and had limited recourse under these terms. See John F, Apr 1, 2023 review (and video), "The storage facility had a roof leak..." due to *known* unrepaired maintenance issue. "Water caused $5K in damage... The worst part is that they want *MY* insurance to pay for THEIR damage... Stay away." Overall: Between the signup process, pricing scheme, customer reviews and very lop-sided contract terms in their favor, I recommend going elsewhere. IMPORTANT NOTE: Marybeth (Mary Beth?) was amazing and went ABOVE and BEYOND what anyone would reasonably expect. She was both extremely helpful finding great unit for me and a refreshingly, professional employee. Clearly not anything like other coworkers. Unfortunately, MB doesn't have authority to make the contract reasonable and less lop-sided in favor of Midgard.

I have TRIED to reach them by leaving THREE voicemails, no callback. So went up there and got an email that I was told they'd respond to. TWO emails later, NOTHING. I have my rent on "autopay" however SOMEHOW it didn't go through since I complained and now there's a lock on my unit, yet no way to contact them. Oh, and they add $10/month insurance even though I have $100k of my own. BEWARE! They are NO GOOD!!!!

    Well I've been looking for a place to store my race trailer for a few weeks now and I ran across…read morethis little place not a mile from my house. The sign out front said "VACANCY", so I quite literally thought it was a sign from above. Well I called on Monday afternoon and didn't get anyone, so I left a message. They called me back the following day and the owner/operator Wayne told me a spot would be 55.00 per month. I told him that was a bit high, and went about my day. Well after getting busy for the week and neglecting my duties of looking for a spot I called him back and offered 50.00 per month and I'd pay him in cash for the next 3 months. He declined and told me his price was set. I called the next day and told him I'd take a spot for a month. He told me he wouldn't be at the business that day and to come by tomorrow after lunch. I found it strange that he didn't keep actual business hours but still answered the phone during the work day. Needless to say, I called him at 2pm the following day and he lit into me about not showing up earlier in the day. We'd never set a time and he wasn't specific about when to come by so I apologized but he told me to do business with someone else and he didn't want to do business with me. Basically, these guys are a mom and pop storage place run by a jackleg, cranky, old, quazi senile man who doesn't like to stay at his office nor does he like to provide any level of customer service. Best of luck to them because I found storage from another place for half their price a mile down the road and the owners are super nice. Stay away from this place.

    I had a complete opposite situation than the 2010 review. I called Little River's number as listed…read moreand got through to the owner, Mike (not Wayne, so perhaps it's a new owner?). He and I chatted about what I needed (a space for an RV). He quoted a price and actually lowered it when he realized we desired a longer term (not just a month or two). He wasn't sure of what spaces were available so he told me to email him as a reminder. The next day I had my answer and they even measured the spot to make sure our RV would fit. Overall I am pleased so far!
