They lock you out of your unit for the most ridiculous reasons and after you get a unit they slowly raise the price without notifying you. I used the auto pay feature for a long time and finally found out they raised my bill an extra $100+/month and god forbid if you're late. They don't just have a late fee. They find ways to give you a laundry list of expensive fees that they add to weekly. When people get storage units it's usually because they are going through a tough situation and they don't work with you at all. Don't get taken advantage of, find somewhere else to store your possessions. I came into the office because I was locked out of the gate. I explained my family is in an emergency situation and we need to get into our unit. We also mentioned that this was the second time we drove an hour to get there. I was only 1 week late and they still refused to let me in my unit. I told them I will be able to make the payment the following Friday when I get my paycheck. It's just inhumane, after years of paying on time and the amount of money we are consistently paying a month I couldn't believe they refused to let me access my unit just once while I was there and desperately needed to get in.

When I asked for an explanation for such a significant increase, I was informed that they could raise the rent at any time because the agreement was month to month. I was then advised that if I did not pay the increased amount by the 7th of the month, my belongings would be placed up for auction. The following day--before the stated deadline--I discovered that my personal property had already been listed for auction, including photographs of the contents of my unit. As a result, I felt pressured, taken advantage of, and treated unfairly. To prevent the loss of my belongings, I paid the increased amount that same day. Immediately thereafter, I requested to cancel my rental agreement, as it was a month-to-month contract. Once I entered the unit to get my things I realized two TVs and a tool box with small handheld computers were missing!! I was unaware of this until I called about a different discrepancy to address. I found out that the facility had a new manager Ms. Shequita and upon explaining to her the situation, she was the one that informed me of the correct policy. Ms. Shequita Is the Saving grace of this facility. She is the reason this is a 5 review and not 3. Pros for the facility: super clean, gated, has surveillance & well maintained. Cons for the facility: I need access to my unit 24/7 since it is over 2 hours from where I am. Even though you have your own gate code to gain access, I only found out that you can't get in 24/7 when I drove over night to grab some items and the gate wouldn't open. So there are limited hours for access. I have never experienced that before with any other storage facility & I specifically asked the previous manager about access. So yea, Ms. Shequita is a 5 manager & she needs a raise.
