On move day, Mike + 3 others (so 4 total movers) showed up on time, and ready to move. They moved my entire 2 bed 2 bath apartment to a house in 4.5 hours, which is quite a feat since the apartment required an elevator and loading dock to exit. They would fully dissemble furniture, move it into the spot you wanted it in your new home, and reassemble it. I didn't have to lift a finger. Also, Mike and his team hustled the entire time. They moved as fast as you possibly could, without damaging any of my furniture. We are so thankful and will certainly recommend Georgia Home Movers to all friends and family in the Atlanta-area for future moves. Thank you all so much! Georgia Home Movers also price-wise came in cheaper than all the big companies around. Last time I moved, I used the company 2 Men and a Truck which is a larger, more expensive company; I had paid for 3 movers but only 2 showed up and were late. Georgia Home Movers did SUCH a better job and were cheaper!

I hired these guys to come back using my own supplies and it was great! 4 guys packed it up in about a day for the move the following day. It was the same 4 guys and 2 additional on move day and they loaded everything nicely. They worked hard and was mostly careful with my things on the way in. There were a few wall scratches and they made an extra trip back to grab some large doll houses we had so that was nice of them. 5 star review but for the wall scratches, I wiould still highly recommend these guys for your move.

Kent's Pack and load made our move so easy! I can't…read morerecommend them highly enough. I'm a realtor and I have worked with many moving companies, and they are by far the best I've ever worked with. They do great work, and they don't overcharge you for every little thing like the other companies do. They were on time, and packed up our house very very quickly with 3 guys. They stored everything at their facility for a couple months, and when it was time to move again, they met us at the new house and unloaded it quickly and carefully, helping us set up all of our furniture. They took incredible care of all of our belongings. Nick was very helpful and flexible when I had to change our moving dates a few times. All the guys that I worked with were kind, courteous, professional, and diligent. I will be recommending them to all my clients from now on!

Really puts me extremely out when you have to be out of your house due to selling. Actually more than extremely put out. What a shameful horrible thing that a moving company can do to a person. I paid you 500$ to hold my spot. Why the hell wouldn't you send at least a few people to get something done. I was promised 9 people and 3 trucks in my contract. I called, emailed, texted....all I got was an email cancelling. Horrible company. Horrible. Use them at your own risk. If you need to be out of your house by a certain date, do NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. YOU WILL BE LEFT HIGH AND. DRY.

First, the good- They were easy to deal with. They showed up…read morewhen they said they would. They sent me a contract, they answered any questions I had and made me feel good about choosing them and the move itself. You know how it is and how stressed out you are when its moving time. Had to move about 40 miles away and with Atlanta traffic, even on a Saturday, it was nice to leave it up to someone else. Plus they didnt charge for the drive to get to my house I was moving out of. Thought that was really nice. They did charge me time to drive to my new home but again thats very fair. Second, the bad- I got the three-crew option. The leader was a long term employee and knew what he was doing. The other two gents were new and I am not complaining, we all have to start sometime. But they were slow and always seemed to be on their phone when something was not in their hand. I felt like if they were working at a faster clip it would not have to have taken the extra time I paid for. Really needed to micromanage the other two and felt like shouldnt have had to do that. Mistakes were made. They left their tools at my old house for disassembling and putting furniture back together. Shouldnt you have a checklist before you leave? Third, the ugly- I have a very expensive bedroom set that I bought five years ago and was all that I was moving that was really nice as it was a paring down move with lots of stuff not coming. They damaged that furniture dropping it on its corners. First, they tried to say it was like that when they moved but later fessed up. The leader of the crew then was like no worries we will send someone out to fix it up. Though I am not a carpenter, I thought there is no way what they did could be fixed. After almost six months of going back and forth they sent me less than 150 dollars. I did not pay for the "extra" insurance, so what I had was the basic insurance. I was naive enough to believe I didnt need the extra insurance. I am paying professionals to move it so dont you know how to move it without damaging it? Thats only a rhetorical question at this point as I know the answer. I liked their business model, just wish the execution was better in my case.
