Absolutely horrible! I rented a unit and when I got there on my 'move-in' day, my gate code didn't work. Tried it multiple times, but the gate keypad was telling me the number wasn't registered. I tried the kiosk in the office, but the kiosk wasn't working at all. The 'call' button on it was unresponsive. I tried calling the number from the mobile app, but it immediately told me "No routes found" and hung up, like it was an invalid number. Left and went home, got online and looked up another number for them. Called it, and when prompted, I selected the option to "Talk to property manager". It again, immediately went "No routes found" and hung up. I then tried the chat feature on their website. When I told it my gate code wasn't working, the oh-so-helpful script they have running tried telling me how to find the gate code. I already know what the gate code is, and it just isn't working. It's pretty obvious that, despite me PAYING for the storage unit, they never actually activated the gate code in their system. I selected the option in the chat to talk to an agent, this is at 4:30pm Eastern on a Saturday mind you, and their chat responded that Agents are only available from 5am - 6pm Pacific. 4:30pm Eastern = 1:30pm Pacific. Edit: I finally got a hold of an agent on Monday, and he was absolutely terrible! I explained what happened to him, and how I tried the phone number and the chat support, and they weren't working, and he basically called me a liar and said that, since I didn't contact them the day it happened, they wouldn't refund me. Absolutely inexcusable customer service! I will adjust my review slightly, because one of my complaints was noticed by a Public Storage district manager who reached out to me to apologize and offer a full refund. I do appreciate her making the effort to make things right, but they do need to have some serious re-training of their customer service. If you get in a chat with "Jimmy" Jiro G., you may as well just end the chat and retry and hope you get a better rep next time. read more

Signed up for a storage unit in January - in April I got a notice of a 90% increase!!! A moderate increase over an extended time I could find reasonable, but almost doubling 3 months into an agreement is both excessive and deceptive. Tried reaching out to customer service to see if that could be rectified, and received a runaround, and just canned responses about it being a monthly price agreement subject to increase with 30 day notice. I call BS - this was not an adjustment based on market conditions. It is obviously a planned business practice following the old pattern of Bait & Switch, and a reliance on complacent clients to simply accept the change without argument. read more

Do not rent here unless it is very short term! They increase your rental price by 40% or more just after a couple of months! So once you have paid the expense of getting movers to take your things to your unit and they have you in, they raise your rent! It is unbelievable! I rented here as well as other family and they have done the exact same thing to all of us. There isn't even a person on the property to speak with. So they have no employees to pay yet they do a bait and switch with your rental price. It is such bad business! Everyone I know is moving out of their Public Storage property or renting from anyone else except Public Storage To start with. read more

We selected this location based on price while online. It's clean and well maintained, and the onsite assistant was able to help my partner find our unit and learn how to use the app and access panels, and the price is very competitive. This is a kiosk location, so if you haven't used storage facilities before at all, make sure to arrive when there's an attendant on duty. But if you're seasoned in renting storage units, this place is pretty awesome. We're glad to be here! read more

Great experience here. Sarah was extremely helpful. I got two units and they were clean and provided timely. We had to store the majority of our house because we were in between a sale and a purchase but the experience was top notch. The facilities are clean, newer, and secure. I would have given a 5 star rating previous to yesterday but the office person did not know what she was doing. I reserved online and when I got to the office found I could just do a transfer with no fees, but they could not refund the $29 admin fee. I would like a refund!!! I moved from a 10 x 10 to a smaller unit and was told to come to the office afterward which I did, But it was locked and vacated. I went searching for her inside the building as I had just seen her on the 3rd floor, to no avail. I go back to the office and there she is with no explanation. There is more to the story, too much to type. I wasted an inappropriate and unnecessary amount of time! Very frustrating! read more

Bait and switch- book at your own risk. This could have been a 5 star review. Instead, it is getting 1 star. Prior to booking my unit, I called and asked what their policy was if I needed to book a unit for 1 full month + a few additional days in a 2nd month. In other words- how payment would be handled for month #2. I spoke with Trinity several times, and was repeatedly assured that I would pay for month #2 in full when it was due, but would be prorated for the unused days. Upon checking out of my unit, contrary to what I was repeatedly told by Trinity, NO refund. I only used 3 days of the 2nd month. $311 for 3 days. Over a month has passed since I moved out of my unit, and Public Storage is refusing to address their lie. The location manager has said repeatedly there is nothing she can do; that it is up to the district manager. They are not providing the district manager's contact information. The location has only provided an email address of 'wecare@publicstorage.com'. I have emailed this address multiple times, and no reply. Moral of this story- book at your own risk. Bait and switch. It's also worth noting that their tech does not work. There are ample other storage facilities to choose from. Don't waste your time and money on this one. UPDATE- 24 hours after posting this review, I finally received an email reply from 'wecare' asking me to call them. After sitting on hold/ being transferred around their phone tree for over 30 minutes (FYI- the automated system doesn't work!!), I was put into someone's mailbox. It's been 2 days and no return call. I highly doubt I will be receiving one. I state my earlier words again- book at your own risk. read more

I am only here to rave about the INCREDIBLE customer service I received from Trinity. Saturday was probably the most stressful day my partner and I had and Trinity went above and beyond to accommodate us. We originally had a 3rd level storage unit, but quickly realized we needed a 1st floor unit that's the same size as the original one we were suppose to go with. I was scared to ask for this change, but Trinity was hard at work as soon as I voiced my change in heart. After a few minutes we successfully found a 1st floor unit, and she showed us the unit before we even decided. Trinity is an example of suburb customer service as well as knowledgable, friendly, and understanding (considering we were stressed out from moving that day and needed a quick change in units). I cannot credit her enough because she was that awesome. Public storage has my business all thanks to Trinity and the incredible experience we had. Thank you! read more
