I'm so pissed! this place has raised my rent 3 times so I decided to move my stuff. I have a truck rented and mover's scheduled. Show up and Pub Storage has changed my lock with NO WRITTEN NOTICE!!! I have never been late on a single payment and my stuff has been here for 2 year. Now I have to schedule a move out. The property manager is impossible to reach. Every attempt to call the property manager results in an endless loop of automated system that never gets you to a person. This is not the first time I've had a problem with this rental and the customer service is always a nightmare. Stay away! read more

They will quote you one price and a couple months later they raised my rate by over $120...with no notice-they just billed my credit card! When we were moving in, the lady across from our unit was moving out and warned me of the unethical billing practices of this location. I thought since we were paying triple what she was that we already had the high side of their pricing. Boy was I wrong. Just a couple MONTHS IN THEY RAISE ME OVER $120/MONTH. They take advantage of disabled veterans. I just moved my entire home into their storage unit and am paying $300/month. Three months in and without any notice they start charging my credit card $420/month. Incredibly unethical business billing practice and they know they have me at their mercy because who can afford to move out immediately after they've moved all of their stuff in, especially hard for a disabled veteran like me. Even when the office sign says "open", I don't see anyone there and no one will answer the phone or call me back. Hard to believe this is happening and they are allowed to operate a business like this. Help. read more

I had all intentions of being out of my storage space by the end of July, July 31st. I've been spending several weekends in and out getting all my stuff out. I had one thing left on July 30th, a table and four chairs which I had someone that was coming to pick it up and I had them come to the storage unit. I went up there to meet them on the 31st. Public Storage had put a lock on my space which I purposely left unlocked because there was nothing in there that I was worried about. I couldn't get in. I tried all day calling. I went up to the office, talked to the kiosk lady, etc.. They all assured me they would be calling someone to get the key up there to unlock my unit. No one ever got back in touch with me until August 1st. I cleared my space & left it swept clean. Now they're going to charge me for August. Yeah, their fault I wasn't able to clear on the 31st. THIEVES!!! These people are thieves. Please do not use these people. Not only was this THEIR fault, it was done intentionally. Laura told me I would NOT be charged. Does anyone actually work here? Bad experience. Bad service. The cart is missing most of the time. The doors sometimes work sometimes don't. They charge you whatever they feel like charging, whenever the mood strikes them to increase your rent, which will be often. Use Stacy's in Canton or East Cherokee Storage, they have never increased rent on me. Fool me once, my bad, never this place again. read more

I started renting a 10x30 at this facility in 2017 and the rent was $171 a month. Within 4 months it went to $201, then $229 shortly after, then $260 in 2019, $292 in 2020, $336 in 2021, $407 in 2022 and they just raised it again to $499 a month. It is insane to think that a loyal customer that has been with them for years that they would try and go up that much for a storage unit. They are now charging me $1.67 a sq. ft. and I moved to another facility 5 minutes away that is charging $.80 a sq ft. Don't get sucked in with their introductory rates because they will skyrocket quickly. They are betting that once you get moved in you won't move out. It is bad business tactics and I hope customers will move out in droves to stop this. read more

I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this business. They raise rates by 40% right after they get you in and they know you don't want to spend money to move. What a total scam business. How could you sleep at night doing this to people? Not that you could get anyone to answer the phone and give you that answer at this scam business. I paid for a climate controlled unit at this storage location. When I moved my things out of the unit, there was rat poop all over my furniture, scratch marks, and bags were chewed. Nothing was done when I contacted customer care or the location office. read more

I need space to store the props and wardrobe for my photography business. I had a storage locker in another location but the access was limited. This location is awesome, the people are great and the location and size is awesome. I would recommend this location to anyone. They are helpful and very fun to work with. read more

Property manager is awful. She basically called me a liar to my face when I told her Noone was on the property the 4 separate days I came out to talk to her. She said well someone is always here which obviously isn't true if your door is locked and lights off in the middle of the day. They also jack up your rent every 5-6 months by 20-25% each time. Even during covid they were raising rent without caring about anyone's financial situation. read more

NEVER EVER EVER RENT HERE! I went online and reserved a unit at a rate of $105. When I went in the store, Kim- supposedly the manager-would not honor that rate. She charged $140. I paid my $1 for the first month rent and left. Kim pulled the same stunt with my father about a week later. He, unknowingly of the situation tried to rent their as well. The Public Storage in Canton and Kennesaw and way better. Don't go here- they're scammers. read more

I just rented my unit on July 24th and paid $252 to move in. The unit was not swept out prior to moving in. They then turned around and charged me an additional $68 on the first of August. I called customer service who told me I needed to contact the store. I contacted the store and she told me to call the manage. I called the manager three times with no response. My items haven't even been there a full month and I'm moving them out. This is ridiculous as I have rented from public storage in the past for the same size unit and I have never had these problems. read more

I had a unit reserved to unload a truck to show up with the unit locked. Called 24/7 customer service as they attempted to contact a property manager and a district manager to no avail. I'm currently stuck in the property unable to get out and unable to unload a full truck. read more

the folks that operate this business are super nice however my only complaint is that the price of my unit has already gone up by $20-$30, two separate times and I haven't even had my unit there for a full two years yet. I moved in April of 2016. read more

Joanne was helpful and very informative! The process of checking in was great We had a tour and we found the property to be very clean ,weed and debris free. We looked at many other locations and this was the best ! Why ..the people make the difference you can tell when you walk in the door that Joanne carried about her customer as well as the property she is responsible for. Great security too! read more

This is THE WORST storage facility that I've ever had the dishonor of dealing with. Upon getting the Unit the manager Laura, asks what items do you have so I tell her thinking it's for insurance purposes.......No she decides to CHARGE me for items like paper, bubble wrap, couch covers. My items were already packed & wrapped there was no need. She then says "well if that's too high I can fudge the numbers" Fudge what numbers? My items were already packed. She then charged me for a disc lock when I literally had one in my hand. She said "well this one is easier, you can put it on your unit faster!" 19.99 then tells me she can't reverse the charge. I had to call area manager & regional Jessica to get a call back took over a week. Then comes time to pay Laura just charges your card for whatever she wants & when she wants & argues with you about it. Really nervous about having my things there it was only temporary 7 weeks, but has been THE MOST MISERABLE experience dealing with storage EVER!!! read more
