When I say I made NUMEROUS calls to a variety of local storage locations, I truly mean it. My friend recommended tthat they had seen the new Boardwalk storage facility recently open and suggested I give them a try. I truly loved the way The Boardwalk Storage facility operates because you have one person, and only one person, that you work with at each location. As for me, I was very blessed to be able to work with Iesha Who has been in the storage industry for over 10 years. As I was making my initial rental over the Thanksgiving holiday, I have to give big-time kudos to Iesha Who was able to guide me even though her presence was not physically there. Of course, my moving truck arrived the day after Thanksgiving, but everything went off without a hitch and I have to give all the credit to Iesha. Great experience.

First let me say this review has no adverse effect on existing property managers Moses and Amy…read more When they were running the front office in person, service was fabulous. The property is secure and the facility is clean. Now the office is run with virtual computers set up by Reliant Mangement and customer service no longer exists. They are absolutely horrible. I would be extremely cautious in giving them any credit card or debit card information for auto payment as they are now streamlining cash from their customers by issuing you an invoice for one amount and charging your credit card a higher amount. Of course you cannot speak to any management because they are busy hiding behind their cameras and email system. I would also be aware when renting any unit as they will give you one price and then two months later substantially increase your monthly amount.

On the night of Nov 1st the elevators stopped working and my movers and I were stuck moving a truck full of furniture up two flights .... when I returned to the facility the next morning to place more things in storage the elevators were still not working so yes, I had to take the stairs again . When I complained to employee on the scene I got the usual cold corporate attitude well we called what else do you want us to do ? Well I've been looking for a place to store my race trailer for a few weeks now and I ran across…read morethis little place not a mile from my house. The sign out front said "VACANCY", so I quite literally thought it was a sign from above. Well I called on Monday afternoon and didn't get anyone, so I left a message. They called me back the following day and the owner/operator Wayne told me a spot would be 55.00 per month. I told him that was a bit high, and went about my day. Well after getting busy for the week and neglecting my duties of looking for a spot I called him back and offered 50.00 per month and I'd pay him in cash for the next 3 months. He declined and told me his price was set. I called the next day and told him I'd take a spot for a month. He told me he wouldn't be at the business that day and to come by tomorrow after lunch. I found it strange that he didn't keep actual business hours but still answered the phone during the work day. Needless to say, I called him at 2pm the following day and he lit into me about not showing up earlier in the day. We'd never set a time and he wasn't specific about when to come by so I apologized but he told me to do business with someone else and he didn't want to do business with me. Basically, these guys are a mom and pop storage place run by a jackleg, cranky, old, quazi senile man who doesn't like to stay at his office nor does he like to provide any level of customer service. Best of luck to them because I found storage from another place for half their price a mile down the road and the owners are super nice. Stay away from this place.

He and I chatted about what I needed (a space for an RV). He quoted a price and actually lowered it when he realized we desired a longer term (not just a month or two). He wasn't sure of what spaces were available so he told me to email him as a reminder. The next day I had my answer and they even measured the spot to make sure our RV would fit. Overall I am pleased so far!
