Do not leave your valuables here! There are multiple layers of access control, but someone was able to drill out my lock, move all of the stuff to pick out what they wanted to steal, shoved it all back in, then replaced the lock with their own. They have a camera right next to my unit but it seems they do not look for people drilling locks out. This is not a safe location! My guess is that the criminal has a unit in the same building so that they have access to the building and hide the stolen goods. read more

Is a decent place to store your belongings, but they raise the price on your storage unit a lot all the time so I wouldn't use for very long

For the money we pay for this place the are cheap. There is only one cart per building that has two elevators. Every other storage place I rented from has two to three carts at every elevator. I asked the office if they have more, and they told me they try to round them up each morning. I guess it hard to find that one cart and decide which elevator to place it at. Had to drag my heavy boxes with metal equipment by hand. read more

Moving into my unit today and honestly it was gross upon move in - the ceiling literally has water and insulation coming out of it. Theres big spider webs all around the doors. Luckily I only have to tolerate this for 2 weeks and I really pray I don't deal with water damage or a break during that time. I've been sitting here for over an hour and haven't seen a single staff member. Doesn't seem very secure. Also beware that they tack on lock and insurance charges. Im at $311 for a 10x15. Again, last minute move so kinda stuck with whats available. But wishing I'd picked somewhere else. read more

Bad experience overall. They we're there to take my money but nothing else. The phone number to speak with the property never went to the property managers. The gate was broken the last month and a half I was there; so much for the security of my belongings. Before I paid my last bill I checked to make sure they pro-rated. No surprise, when I checked to see why there was no credit to my account, customer service said they didn't pro-rate. Take your money to a mom and pop; you'll be treated better. read more

I am didapointed at this storage facility . I just want to be able store my stuff pay rent and be left alone . There does always seem to be some sort of admonishement for one thing or another through phone or email from staff leading to raising rent fees ! My storage was broken into and stuff was stolen . They dont seem to coperating with police . Facility hasnt reached out to me they raised my rent instead ! They asked me to go direct deposit to save money I did it they raised my rent Within a ten day period I was locked out then I was locked inside they gate they raised my rent . Seems to be retaliation for one thing or another ...I dont know ! Still havnt heard from them . read more

Terrible service from the manager don't even want to get her name... we literally leave work early now so that we don't have to run into her! Very rude. Me and my guys were working this public storage doing the floors and one morning I said to her hello good morning and she ignored it and gave me attitude about using the carts that I was only able to use one but very dramatically with greeting.... then she decided to send an email to our boss lying! vwry unprofessional. or uncertain of the doors here... they are broken a few and we got blamed for them but before we got here they were already having troubles we didn't takes notes or pictures bc we didn't think nothing of it. No on assumes they will be blamed for something like this. It's just been really ridiculous and she was letting us use the restroom here bc we work nights so everything is closed but after the day she sent the email she stopped opening it for us. ber childish. and this place is just run down terrible management obviously! this place is disgusting we work a lot of public storages alot! This is the worst I've seen! Expired operation papers in elevators! you're breathing in mold! I have pictures of the stairs that no one has access to it's just a mess here. read more

This facility is great, and the staff are great. Brandon was extremely helpful. Access is easy, and facility is clean and well maintained. The experience at the Redmond facility was exceptional. However, I give only 4 stars because of the lack of full disclosure of costs for the rental, which is a corporate policy issue, and not the fault of the Redmond facility. I only needed a place to store a small amount of stuff for about a week, so the $1 special (with $24 admin fee) sounded perfect. No where was there the mention of having to buy a lock from them (non-refundable), or mandatory insurance. After all fees, lock, and insurance was tallied it ended up costing me $57.89, That's more than double what I was expecting to pay, and only for a week. Oh, and there's no refund on the lock that I only needed to use ONCE! Granted, it was still cheaper than any other place around, but hidden mandatory fees are a real pet peeve of mine. Advertise honestly. If a lock is required, and must be purchased from Public Storage, than say so when listing the price and in the advertisement. Same goes for the mandatory insurance. If it can't be waived, then you need to disclose that to the potential customer in the advertisement, and with something more than an asterisk and three words (*plus additional fees). FULL DISCLOSURE! read more

After researching most of the self storage units around Redmond, I felt Public Storage had the best overall facility. Their rates seem to be just a bit higher than other or are comparable to others. However, their facility is very clean and secure, and is one of the few that is heated. I especially found Balbir, the manager, very pleasant and helpful. read more

Avoid at all cost. I had an issue with my bill pay program at B of A. I called PS to make sure they were receiving my checks. I ended up speaking with the district manager who proceeded to "mansplain" how banking works and how they had never received a check even though my unit was paid for each month (turns out it was on my credit card). He spoke to me in a condescending and disrespectful manner (I actually am quite good at understanding banking as I've run two companies during my career) and it felt as if he was trying to embarrass me for asking multiple questions about my account. He ended the call by doing an impression of a radio announcer by saying "you can pay your bill at any of our 2200 locations nationwide..." at that point I hung up and called their corporate office to complain. I was able to discuss the situation with an employee who was very apologetic and she had me leave a message for his boss and I was told I'd receive a call back in 48 hours. Two weeks later-still no call. I called her boss and he was wonderful, apologetic and honestly seemed very sorry for my troubles with PS. I am moving quickly to pull out office items out of PS and end my relationship with this company. read more

Extremely unsecure! 7+ units were broken into with items the week of 10/10-10/16 (including mine). They said the culprit still rents a unit in the hall (they weren't going to change that?) and when I asked how they're going to secure the units so this doesn't happen again, the owner said "well we're reviewing security footage from the previous night each day" and "what else do you want me to do?". How does only "reviewing footage" prevent my stuff from being stolen going forward? Also I found out that only the front gate is locked after hours, the outside doors to the buildings are completely unlocked at all times and they have no way to lock them. So someone can just hop the fence near the trail and waltz in with no one to stop them. This is because the owner said she is the only employee for that location, so no one is monitoring the building or "cameras" (I've only seen one - at the gate) after hours. Unless you want your stuff stolen, buy a storage unit literally ANYWHERE else. read more
