These guys were awful…read more They showed up at the address we were leaving without the boxes and packing material they needed, then left to go get it (we were charged for this time). We were quoted $98 an hour, but that was apparently for two people, and they brought a third along in hopes that we would pay $148 an hour for all three of them (we did). They show up at the new place, baked. They broke a piece off my drafting table, a switch off a lamp (it's unusable now), knocked structural bits of my husband's bed and my (admittedly very cheap) mirror free, and reeked. Not "I've been working all day" reeked, but "I don't shower but maybe twice a month" reeked. After 11 hours of work, they sprung a bunch of surprise fees on us. Given the exorbitant final cost, maybe they should have mentioned that their credit card machine was "down" PRIOR to 1 AM? There was no way we could collectively pull enough out of ATMs to pay the total. I ended up going to the ATM and left my husband there, as there was no way I was either leaving our things alone, or leaving MYSELF alone with them. The apparent team lead made me uncomfortable. He just didn't seem like he was on the same planet as we were. He didn't bring a work order, which serves as our receipt. He asked us to write down how much we owed him and sign it, but we were uncomfortable writing already suspect totals down without a work order. After a lot of awkward back and forth, we refused and simply wrote that we had paid him $500. He obliquely threatened my husband by telling us a story about a time he almost got in a fight with a guy who wouldn't give him his money ("the police were called and everything"). He asked us to write a review, after all that(?) I'm pretty sure he had no idea what was going on. Then, he said he'd be back tomorrow. He was. He was standing outside our door the next day. He blew up my husband's phone all day, increasingly desperate about getting the money. It was bizarre, not just because we've never had people hound us like that, but because you'd think whether we spoke to his boss first or not, would not affect how much money he got at the end. Except not so much. When we finally got to speak to his boss, we got the impression something was up. He told us that the credit card machine had NEVER been down, and that the hourly rate for 3 people was $137, not $148. We were also overcharged for boxes - slightly over twice their actual price. Ultimately, we were able to pay at the original rate quoted to us, and did not pay for the packing supplies. I think the team lead has been telling people the credit card machine is "down" in order to get cash-only transactions that his boss can't track, then pocketing the overages. I feel for the company, but until they take decisive steps to prevent clients from being defrauded, this is a total no-go.

Voicemail full! and 6 pm we hired someone else to do the job. I called them again to ask what went wrong and their pathetic receptionist said we don't have your booking! I sent them the $100 transaction that successfully went through and all the calls I made and all the replies they gave of "we are on the way" and she just kept pushing I never hired them! I still have a $100 transaction in my bank statement. I talked to manager and they apologized and said they will refund but that F**king never happened! From May till November! I am so close to make an official fraud complaint against this bogus company who dupes people into paying advance and never showing up.

Paul expertly managed the move of my clinical psychology office of over 23.5 years from Woodinville to Bothell on March 18 and 25, 2025. Paul and his colleagues, Israel and Chris, went above and beyond to make sure that everything got boxed, packed, loaded, transported, unloaded, carried up 16 steps and into my office, that everything got put in its right space, and that a Herculean move involving nearly 200 boxes of books, dozens of boxes of papers and files, 23 bookcases, 4 4-drawer file cabinets, five executive office chairs, a large metal cabinet, sectional office tables, and a heavy wooden desk somehow went smoothly and efficiently. In addition, Paul went above and beyond in helping with the disassembly and reassembly of the sectional office tables, and he was instrumental in changing out a loose front door handle and lock. I was especially impressed by the accuracy of Paul's estimates and by his knowledge of what was needed to get the job done and to get it done well. I'm always a bit perplexed that these Fed Ex Office locations get such poor reviews. I go to them…read moreall the time, all over the Eastside, and have never had a bad experience. (Knock on wood.) Last week was my first time at this central Redmond location, and I was immediately impressed with how much larger it is than other Fed Ex Office locations. They had a huge array and assortment of things like books, office, and shipping supplies, along with the usual shipping center and copiers. I was there, as usual, to print flyers for some upcoming work events, so I used their super convenient Print & Go service to email my flyers to the Fed Ex cloud and then print on one of their self-service color machines. On this trip, there was a small issue with the printer, but an employee quickly responded and fixed it in a matter of seconds. Other than that, everything went smoothly and they were also able to cut my flyers in half on their handy dandy giganto paper cutting machine too. Fed Ex Office has become a big part of my work-from-home routine, and it's good to know there's one so centrally located in Redmond for next time I'm in need of printing.
