The service was great from the property manager. They gave great explanation and guidance for my first time with my storage unit. I recommended others to use this location. Amazing! read more

I did everything online. I rented the storage unit paid for it. One of the representatives gave me a call back to confirm all of the information and informed me that my unit would be ready and I will be notified via text. And I did receive that information anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes later on my phone with the unit number and the code to get in and the instructions on what I needed to do as far as the lock and everything was concerned. Very smooth process very quick and efficient. read more

Brandy has been such s wonderful property manager. I move in about Year ago and she had been the most amazing person i have work with! Prior to brandy there was another property manager who i originally sign my storage with but brandy has been always asking me how I am ? How my business is going ? What can she do to improve the location! Simply a beautiful persona ! Thank you so much for all your help and support here are too many more months! read more

Carrie at the Balls Ford Rd. location in Manassas, VA is a wonder. So helpful and knowledgeable especially to those of us no longer living in the area and not able to easily come to the property. She has provided valuable information about my units and billing and everything regarding the policies and benefits provided by Public Storage for my storage needs. She's been great!! read more

covers the basics. Online reservation is easy and painless. The billing is confusing as they seem to do a bait and switch on the pricing. Oh, be aware they charge admin set up fees. You would think if you had an account already and then you get two more units for a total of three they would waive the admin start up fees. And 20 bucks for a lock is not cool either. Just don't lose your keys. you pay for convenience. The facility is decent and clean and well lit and there are security cameras everywhere so you feel safe. Overall, it is okay and serves its purpose. I just wish it was more affordable. There are more affordable places out there but this location works for me. And they close at 9 which is not the best idea but ok. read more

This is the worst storage in the area. The gate is broken for 3 months and anyone can get in. I saw someone wondering around asking for a dollar. The management is not helpful at all. They charge a lot but they don't upkeep the place. read more

I have had a storage for about a year in a half . In Manassas VA. My mom moved here from out of state . So we needed one . It has been a absolute nightmare. So we were trying to go over there to go through things , lights weren't working in our storage. Brought light bulbs . That wasn't the problem it was an electrical isue . That took 4 months to fix . I was trying to go through and find things with a flash light . Since then I have had a leak in the hallway near my unit for over eight months. It is ruining my furniture and all my mom's things . I have talked to so many people there. I have called customer service so many times . I have called balls Ford public storage, sudley and Centerville Rd . No one cares . They don't care about there customers. There is no customer service. They gave me a $25 credit . What the hell is that ? . I pay $155.00 now per month. It was $135 .00. . They went up . For what you do t take care of your community or your customers . All of my mom's furniture from a 3 bdrm house is ruined. I am disgusted with this place will never use again or recommend to someone. No one here takes care of customers. I have had 8 different ppl say they have put in work orders . Nothing has happened. They have so much turn over at balls Ford location . Don't even want to correct maintenance issues. They should give me a descent credit I mean $25. Get real .this is becoming a run down place . No one takes accountability for this issue. No one calls or emails back the way the day they will .they won't even fix the dry wal in the hallway from a leak . So it ruins there customers belongings. This place is awful . No one honestly cares about the customer anymore. What a joke.they told me I could move to around storage . They should do the right thing and make it. Don't come here . I have had nothing but problems . They make all kinds of excuses . They do NO MAINTENANCE!!!! read more

We have rented a Storage Unit from Public Storage in Manassas for over two years. Brandy and her team have always been great to deal with. We highly recommend them. Thanks read more

After making a reservation at the Public Storage in Gainesville and realizing we needed a bigger unit, both locations were very willing to help us find the next size unit at the closest possible location to our new house. Gainesville had run out of the size unit we actually needed, but she was quick to call April in Manassas to get us set up that day. April was great when we finally got there to unload our Uhaul and explained everything we needed to know in detail. I would definitely recommend this storage facility for all your needs! The one thing I would have liked to know ahead of time is that units seem a little old and the walls could be thicker between units, but the convenience of drive up units is so nice for the price! read more

The staff was friendly and helpful and the security is fine. That said, the whole thing felt like a scam after my $1 first month turned into $65 after being forced to buy a lock, paying the $24 sign-in fee (the only one I'd heard about from Public Storage beforehand), and being told that the insurance was "required" (I've learned since that it is not). The whole thing just felt very dishonest. I'd go somewhere else and pay more just to avoid the lies. read more

Good, and friendly service. Been dealing with them for almost 3 years now. Definitely recommended.

Had to put my belongings in storage for awhile. The young lady named Champagne was a wonderful help and guided me through the rental process wonderfully. She answered any questions i had professionally and had a great attitude and was very helpful. Thank you Champagne. Highly recommended! read more

Can I say that April the manager is the bomb, she made me feel very welcome, reassured all my needs, very talkative, very understanding, I will defintley be renting from public storage in the future read more

Although I did not select a unit I did enjoy the tour of the facility. Everything was clean and I like the variety of storage options. I think the lady who assisted me was named April. She was very professional and I like her since of humor. Also, she didn't pressure me to purchase a unit read more

Great first impression! Sean helped with my decision on which size space I needed. He took the time to show me several options.

MOLD MOLD MOLD!! Beware, my building is full of mold. Within a few months I noticed a serious MOLD problem in my unit. When brought to their attention it took weeks and several follow up phone calls to get a response. Their solution? They would give me 24 hours to move my stuff to a different unit in the building and not charge me any fees for moving in the middle of the billing period. Uh, no thank you! Everything, I mean everything I owned completely covered with MOLD, and many items ruined. they offered nothing to compensate for losses. My insurance company needed an inspection by them stating cause of mold which they initially agreed to do but later refused. My unit was an 8x10, unit D110. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE FOLKS. Dismal customer service and complete disregard for customers. read more

Great customer service and very professional. The storage area was clean before I moved in.

Caitlan was absolutely wonderful, and very helpful. I needed storage for my motorcycle while I am in town. Unfortunately, I did not know that I needed to provide my registration, and insurance card, which are in Ohio. with a lot of patience, we got it done, I still need to give a copy of the registration, and I had to sign up for auto pay, but I have a unit for when I return on Sunday with the bike. read more

Karen provided great customer service. Pricing was significantly less than I was paying at another PS location (though all prices seem to be set by the company). Convenient to I-66. Facility is well maintained and clean. My only complaint was the requirement to buy one of their locks. My other location didn't require this. read more

The new manger, Champagne, is amazing. Best customer service I have ever had. She is the Leslie Knope of the storage unit industry- organizational binders and all. The price is good for the area, the parking is inconvenient, but you're there to store stuff not focus on parking. I recommend. read more

I'm getting ready to move at the end of February and wasn't sure where to store my belongings so I stopped by public storage and spoke to April, I'm so glad I did because she was so knowledgable and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The facility was very clean and organized. When I walked in I was promptly and politely greeted by April. She was friendly and very competent. Customer service is important in helping me determine whether or not I will give an establishment my business. I will definitely recommend to others in the future! read more

I was happy with the special price at the the 10305 Balls Ford Road, Manassas, VA location. The manager, April, was professional and helpful. I am renting a 5x10 unit and plan on using it for a number of years. The facility appears secure enough, but I am concerned about the maintenance of the facilities. The first unit I was offered had an obvious water leak which is the reason why I am not giving 5 stars. Location is good for me, the price is great and April is pleasant and professional. Just wish I had a higher comfort level with the maintenance up-keep of their facilities. I plan to visit on and off over the next few years, so I will update this with any new developments. read more
