5 stars for the awesome onsite manager, and 2 stars for the unscrupulous, shyster of a company. The manager is professional, courteous, and patient which is noteworthy because his job can't be easy. The company over all is not the best. It's a money grab for them; service of any kind factors in little if at all with them, the payment app doesn't work, requiring you to use a AI service by phone which charges $1.95 to process your payment. This is not ethical. Their lack of competitive pricing evidences motive. Good thing the onsite manager provides a quality, customer experience and keeps the place is clean, and well maintained. The gate was broken each time I visited, but his job is to report it to the An unethical, unscrupulous owners who do nothing to remedy. I CANNOT RECOMMEND and WILL NOT USE AGAIN. read more

My unit was not cleaned out properly when I moved in on a Saturday. Unfortunately, the office is closed on weekends so my issue didn't get addressed until the following Monday. The staff was very apologetic and immediately transferred me to another unit, which was closer to the entrance. I did have to move my stuff from the old unit to the new unit. I got a really great deal on the rental so I am adding a star to my rating. Other companies were charging a lot more for the same size unit. read more

I love this place - I've had nothing but good experiences with the staff here, Abeer and Connor. Both of them are warm, friendly, responsive, helpful, always willing to answer questions, and both of them always have gone the extra mile for me. Aside from the absolutely stellar staff here, the place itself is spacious, super convenient to get to, and it's clean, and tidy. The security gates always work, so that's also great. Rented two units in 2021. The business model seems to be to jack up the rent every 6 months. Pretty distasteful. We consolidated into one unit and will be vacating by year end. Do buy the propaganda that they are a small local family run business. Rent elsewhere. read more

It's practically impossible to get back, return, phone call or even have someone actually pick up the phone and talk to someone period I love the unit and it's been very nice I'm having to transfer to another location due to my location technology drive in Manassas Virginia is closing period I am having the same problem with both facilities. I picked the unit that is on Sunday. Manner in Manassas, Virginia. I have a lock from the storage unit company on my new unit. And I have been trying to get in touch with them to take that lock off. For I have paid since July 9th and I can't even access my unit. I don't even know if it's gonna be ready. This coming Saturday? The 22nd I will be moving from one storage to this 1. Period the response I got from the clerk was that he don't know if it had been claimed or not, so I took the time to go over to the unit. And there's a lock on it so I can't do anything. He says someone has to be here in order to take the lock off. Okay, well, it's almost impossible again. For someone to leave that office, there are so busy with customers. Constantly and I don't need to sit around there for a long time to be able to get that lock off my unit if they would pick up the phone and I could make sure that they do that. I experienced the worst customer service in my life here. I reserved the truck from 9a.m. to 4p.m. and showed up at 11a.m. to pick it up and Dave, the manager, was furious. He was yelling and slamming paperwork on the counter, pointing to where it said I needed to pick the truck up at 9 or risk losing my reservation. I calmly asked if someone else was trying to use the truck and he told me not to get argumentative with him or I won't get the truck at all. I had already paid for the unit (no refunds) and could not afford to rent a truck and I had to move my furniture that day. So, I had to just grin and bear it. I hated knowing my furniture was there and I'm so glad I finally got it out. I will never go back and I will never recommend that place. read more

This is my first time needing a storage unit as I'm currently going through a divorce. Dave was very accomodating and took a lot of time helping me pick out a unit that would best meet my needs. Paperwork was doing quickly and easily with his wife Sally. During my tough time they really put a smile on my face and helped me. I am renting a space and did not need to move the majority of my belongings until later. So I called for the truck which took FOUR phone calls and was told I could not use it. I had to use it within 30 days. I did not use it even once, so I would think that they should be able to allow for one free use. So, this truck is not Free. And rates are high, so while it is new, I rented from better places in the past. read more

Using this facility was one of the best decisions I've ever made! Dave and Sally (and their employees) run a spotless climate controlled storage place. They are professional and have been so very kind. I never had a concern about safety or security. They are able to offer solutions to most storage problems. I rented storage space from them for about three years and only left because I was moving far away! I recommend them highly and wish I could move them to my new location! Terrible! So I paid extra for climate controlled storage, having never had a problem at previous climate controlled storage locations. This location however, is open at the top between units. The first few months went fine...no issues. But, a few months later when I went to pick up my things...BUGS! Tiny little moth-like bugs crawling all over the place. I called the front desk and guess what they said? "We can't control what other people bring in." No apology, no effort to provide decent customer service, just a basic it's not our fault. And on top of all that, the HVAC duct running through the top of the unit had leaked on one of my boxes. Luckily no damage had been done as a result of the leak. I asked to speak with management but I'm still waiting for a call back (seems they're still "off today"). read more

Really bad experience. Went in with reservation. Older woman that turns out to be wife, demanded drivers license along with other ID. Since I had identity theft issues reluctant to give copy of DL for them to keep in unsecured file on premises. I Was paying with bank debit automatically deducted. Why DL? This is not required by Homeland Security and they cannot use it for anything. Wife said she would accept another picture ID. Husband old guy, came in and said No way without even waiting for explanation. Absolutely not. Give her back her paperwork, she needs to leave. What? You don't want to know why? well there are plenty of other storage places. Be careful. If owner is that nasty over paperwork, you can only imagine how he would react with a REAL problem. I would suggest somewhere else! If you give them a crdit card number, it stays in a hard file in a drawer behind the counter where anyone could take it. So sad too bad is all they would say. read more
