The provider had NO remorse for doing this to me. This happened on the DAY of my move. It led to me having to reserve a smaller truck, which meant I needed to do multiple trips, pay for many additional miles because the reservation location was farther away and cause me so much additional stress during a move that was already stressful during the holidays. In my opinion, Uhaul should reimburse me for the additional cost due to their providers bad judgement and inappropriate conduct.

I also thought the service was a good value for the level of work they provided. What I especially appreciated was that they worked with me to find a solution when my plans changed. At one point, I was considering storing my belongings at their warehouse for less than a week. Rather than simply taking the additional business, they told me it did not make sense to move everything from the original location into warehouse storage for such a short period because it would unnecessarily increase my costs. That advice was one of the reasons I ultimately decided to use PODS instead. My moving needs did change at the last minute, which made the overall move more expensive than I had originally planned, but that was because of the changing logistics, not because they were trying to increase the price. I really appreciated that they were focused on helping me find the most practical and cost-effective solution. I would absolutely recommend them.

Just popped it on me in the end. Oh and then they say "we are going to adjust your time by 15 min you'll see a refund on your card" and two and a half weeks later still waiting for it to even show pending at least. But you better believe the charge was instant. I was debating sharing my feedback but was so mad I finally emailed the company. But no one had even dignified me with not even an automated response, just silence. So I come here to do something I pretty much never do. But that's how annoyed I am. Sorry but would rather recommend. Cheap Movers, way better. I used last move were a thousand times better and a QUARTER of the price. I was in contact with Mia throughout the entire process and she answered all my questions. It was a 3 man crew who arrived 15 min. earlier than the scheduled arrival window. They were super quick and efficient with moving all my boxes, disassembling my furniture, and wrapping my larger furniture with blankets. They then went to my fiancés apartment and was able to load everything from his place as well and get to our new apartment with all of our stuff. I did lose my step ladder and broom during the move but after calling the next day they were able to find and bring it that day. I was super appreciative of this. I would highly recommend using this company and would use in the future!

The whole move lasted well into the night because they hadn't adequately resourced my move. Regarding the damage to my furniture, I was told I would be reimbursed a certain amount, and I agreed. It was a fair offer. Then I got another written offer that was significantly below what was originally offered to me. The amount that was supposed to be reimbursed to me? Never received. As I unpack more boxes, I'm finding more damage and shoddy packing. I can no longer recommend this company.

When they showed up 45 minutes late on Wednesday to begin packing, they suddenly added extra, unexpected charges--like $150 for a truck--and insisted on being paid the entire $3,550 up front through Zelle before continuing. My husband and I trusted them and paid in full. That was the last time things went smoothly. Day 1 - Packing: They worked about four hours and left early. The owner later apologized, saying they "had to move a piano" but promised to finish everything the next day. Day 2 - Moving (Thursday): They arrived an hour late again, spent most of the day still packing, and finally moved one truckload of our belongings that evening. Just go with the bigger name company you know you can trust. We rented the UHaul and did all the packing. All the movers needed to do was disassemble some furniture and load the furniture and boxes into the 26 foot truck. Seems simple enough, but these guys are so disorganized that it took them longer to disassemble furniture than it would have taken us to do it ourselves. It took them longer than expected to load up so I was promised an additional mover during unloading so they could finish faster. Well, the additional mover did not show up. They moved so slowly that my husband decided to assemble our master bed on move in day so we could actually go to sleep at a reasonable hour. On top of all this, they actually lost pieces to one of our child's cribs, and were unable to assemble it on the day we moved in. They agreed to purchase replacement parts and come back the next day to assemble the crib. They did come back the next day, but the pieces they purchased didn't fit the crib. After trying to get the crib together for about an hour without any luck, they had to leave to go to their next job without any intention of coming back. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. I contacted the owner who acted like it was no big deal. She stated the parts were in our house somewhere, we just have to find them. The movers couldn't even tell me where they put the parts! How can she expect us to find them? This is a complete lack of accountability on the company's part. There also seems to be some sketchy stuff going on with this company. They aren't registered with the Department of Transportation like West Virginia requires them to be, and when we requested a copy of our signed contract, I didn't hear back. I will be pursuing other action against this company. No one should be treated like this. We would never hire these movers again. Please do yourself a favor and hire someone else. This company deserves to be put out of business. They don't deserve your money.
