4 years later, I'm still a renter here and I want to provide a glowing update to my last review, of which I was very upset at the huge increase. Since then, I have had a few other increases but learned that's just how these places operate. With that said, the facility is always spotless and I feel safe with my items there. The temperature is also important bc we have heat sensitive items like vinyl and electronics, and the unit is always cool thank goodness. There aren't any homeless camping out either like I have seen in other locations! Special shout to Pablo for holding it down! read more

A friend of mine set up my public storage unit a month ago. When I went there today I needed lots of direction as far as where to go and what to do. The woman who works there named Fabi was beyond helpful! Not knowing where to go or where my unit was located , she walked me through the whole process and even walked me to the unit. Pretty good experience here. I was helping a friend clean out there place and came here in multiple occasions over a period of a few weeks. The hallways are fairly clean and well lit. Bathrooms are also fairly clean. I didn't see very many people coming through when I was there and plenty of room in the parking lot. read more

This place has the worst service. Carts are always locked and the office is always on lunch no matter what time I show . Staff is always late and if you need your things when you want them good luck you might show up and you have no access. read more

I've been a long time customer , and there are some good: clean , friendly customer service especially Pablo he's the best . But lately Pablo isn't around . They have been doing some sort of construction / electrical work that's lagging ! They leave doors open / disabled elevator codes open for homeless to get in . You'd think they have security while these repairs se being done . But nope ! My unit got broken into . This was such a disappointment!!!!! I'm angry !! In the past you had access codes to go to your floor . Now it's free Willy for anyone including homeless to roam your floor , pick your locks and break into your unit . I made a police report and the officer was in shock that there are no working cameras !! Come on!!! They raise your rent every year , and they can't install functioning cameras , or hire a security guard or speed up on this work ?!! This is going to be a very fair review. There are pros and cons to this Public Storage facility. Pros: it's cheap AF! Seriously, my fiancé and I looked at another Public Storage closer to our apartment and it was $40 cheaper to store here. We wanted a 5x5, and if you reserve online you can get the RIDICULOUSLY good price of $62 per month, PLUS I don't know if this is a promo or if it's a permanent thing, but the first month is only $1. So that's awesome. Cons: You might not even believe this, but when we asked for a 5x5, the unit they showed us was not the correct specs. Dude was like (verbatim, by the way) "It's an approximation, I didn't design the building." First of all, whoa, no need to get defensive (?) and ALSO? It's not approximately wrong. It's VERY WRONG. The space was about 5x3. You can't exactly sell someone a 5x5 space that's missing two feet of storage... But he was like, well? So we were like, "No, we are looking for a 5x5 that's ACTUALLY 5x5," and he consented to take us down the hall to another space, which was the correct dimensions. Wow, thank you so so much! Another thing about that^^^ is when we went to the other Public Storage in Eagle Rock, they - believe it or not - did the same thing. We asked for a 5x5, and the unit they showed us was 5x3, or smaller. When we were like, this isn't a square room, this is a tiny rectangle room, the woman was looking at her notes very puzzled and mumbled, "Oh, it says here it's 5x5.. Ok then I'll show you another." WHY is this happening?! Two square feet of storage missing from an already smallish storage space is really not acceptable!! Another Con: The storage units are not that "nice," so just be prepared. They're run-down and dingy. But it's not a dealbreaker, at least not for us, we were happy enough with the price. One last Con: the dude who helped us made an unsavory joke in our presence. It involved a "dead hooker." Not cool, bro. Really not cool. I know it looks like the Cons outweigh the Pros, but price is worth a lot. This is affordable storage. Just make sure you are not being COMPLETELY swindled with the footage of your unit, be prepared for a less-than-immaculate storage space, and maybe tell the guy with the terrible sense of humor to keep it to himself. read more

I'm unsure of how this facility has such great reviews because I got absolutely no help, they are completely ridiculous to deal with. I made a reservation through the call center, went in to pay and was told that the call center messed up my reservation but there was nothing they could do to help me. I would have to call back the call center in order to get help. I did that at 4:45 PM on Sunday and it kicked me straight to voicemail every single time, there was ZERO customer service whatsoever. The girl sitting behind the desk (at the facility) was helpful but very aloof and said oh sorry I can't really help you. You'll have to get through to the call center again. Okay, next day I called the call center (again) and I automatically get kicked to the facility with my reservation. I call back again, this time, request customer service help, but I still get transferred back to the location where my original reservation was at where they cannot help me, that's great! When I tell the gentleman who answers the phone that I simply hit the customer service button he argues with me about what number I dialed.... I'm looking at my phone I know I dialed an 800 number not a 323 area code, so he gives me another 800-number to call. More hoops to jump through :| I called the 800-number and it's to the company "Nintendo," thanks for your help (not funny). So I decided to call back the facility and guess what ? They aren't answering the phone, beyond hilarious. Costumer service here is NON EXISTENT. GOOD LUCK! read more

I have used this Public Storage for over a year now, and besides doing a great job keeping my things safe, and giving my small home some breathing room, what I really enjoy is coming here and seeing Pablo,the manager, who always has a smile, offers excellent customer service, and in general, brightens my day any time we talk. We needed a place to store items when my daughter and several friends had to move out of the dorms when Occidental College went 100% online because of COVID-19. We had a great experience here. The woman in the office--whose name I sadly lost in the madness (Manuela? Manelli?)--was SO helpful and understanding. And the whole process went surprisingly quickly. The facility is in good shape, secure and easy to use, and our 5x5 unit had high enough ceilings that we could fit lots more into it than we expected. Thanks Public Storage! read more

I've been renting a storage from the North Figueroa Public Storage for a couple of years and it's about time I do my review. I have to give this place hands down the most stars possible. It's always clean, well lit and the staff is super nice. Even if your a little late on your payment, they treat you with care and don't judge you or harass you. If you do rent a storage, talk to Pablo (yes everyone is nice there) but he's always so courteous. Only thing that I would frown on is the other tenants sometime hold up the elevator, then they give us "the look" when they finally get down. When that happens, I wait 5 "patient" minutes then go get one of the staff, they're always cool with huffing it up the stairs and sending the elevator back down. Thank you again! read more

I opened a storage unit here a month and 4 days ago. Upon opening my unit, I paid the full amount to move in: 1 month's fees plus a 20 something dollar administrative fee. I got a receipt for my payment. On the calendar date 1 month later, I received an email from PS saying I had unpaid overdue fees and a late fee. How? I only had the unit for a month!! I had even received an email with a bill for March (the following month) that said it was due March 1st with a prorated fee since I had opened the storage 10 days before the end of the month. I called and contested the fee, which they said was valid ! (how? I've had the storage space for 30 days and paid for a month... how is there a late fee???) And they finally waived the fee. Why I am writing the review is because despite this, they mailed me AND MY AUNT who is listed as an emergency contact A LIEN NOTICE. My Aunt emailed me this morning being like WTF is this... F this company!!! What a scam!!!! Shame on them for their shady business practices. It has been less than 35 days since I have started doing business with them and they have already tried to charge me unwarranted late fees AND embarrassed me in front of my family. DISGUSTING. I have had storage before with Extra Space Storage and they are MUCH BETTER. I highly disrecommend this Public Storage. read more
