Lorena, not sure if that is her name but was working this location 12/23/2024 around 3pm. She was amazing, she dropped everything to help me in a time of crisis. The booking on line was so confusing and I thought I had booked a storage unit that could fit my car 10x20. To my dismay when I showed up the door was too small so my car could not fit in. If it says open then why is the office hardly ever open? It's so annoying that I go and make a payment and there's nobody there to open the door. Yea they might be inside the building but I can't be waiting for someone to come back. There should be another person at the desk for this type is stuff! Got yelled at by the combative manager this morning over the phone then she hung up because she said "you have an attitude and your raising voice". Iv had the app to get in malfunction and m not work before and Iv been having issues with using the key pad for access. I just wanted her to make a report about it like she's supposed to do so their system can be improved but NO she kept repeating the possible issues and why it may not work. She was sure I did something wrong. Iv tested it before and saw with my own eyes that when you arrive and punch in the code correctly it tells you to "see the manager" today it happened again and we were locked in for over 45 minutes. She claimed she was in the office yet no one opened the door. I spoke to the district manager. Hopefully he brightens things up. This type of behavior is sadly typical in allot of East LA businesses and it's getting old. read more

One of the staff was really rude(girl with tattoos) need to take her job seriously, if she don't like working there and helping out customers she should find somewhere else to work. I rented a unit to leave my car "secured" because I was going out of town & since I have no parking in my apartment, I decided not to leave it out on the street. I come back from vacation to pick up my vehicle to find it broken into. Multiple units were broken into & the staff told me they called me, when in fact I don't have a missed call from them at all on my phone. They gave me no explanation of anything. All they said was call the cops & deal with it through your insurance. Customer service went out the window. I was trusting this location that my personal belonging was going to be safe & secure, but it was anything but that. I called the cops, the cops of Los Angeles unfortunately didn't show up after waiting for almost 2 hours. I will NEVER be coming back here again. read more

We rented a unit here to store dorm room items for my daughter and several friends who had to move out quickly when their college went 100% online because of COVID-19. The site is clean and well-maintained and seemed very secure. Plus, the attendant, Robert, was amazing! He was friendly and professional and stayed past the posted closing time to make sure we were all set up. The next morning, we realized that we needed to store our items closer to my daughter's college. I called Robert, and since it had been less than 24 hours, we received a full refund (minus a $24 admin fee). He explained it all to me and even gave me the district manager's name and number to call if I had questions. We were able to move our items to another Public Storage location with minimum fuss. I only spoke with Linda by phone and she was cool. Paul is the person who helped set up my storage contract when I went to the facility. Overall, great experience. Though he was alone the day I went in and was a little busy, he made sure I was tended to. Not once was he rude nor did he treat me like a stranger. He answered all my questions and made sure I got the unit I needed. I have rented from a different storage place before but the level of customer service was not even close to what Paul displayed. Give this locale a chance, you will not be disappointed. read more

The only way to rate storage is by security, ease of access, and hours of operation. Generally all PS facilities have the same hours and are constructed in the same manner. Given the ease of access to the freeway for this facility, the space it's allowed and the friendliness of the staff (we forgot key [mind you they have no bolt cutters], we forgot code, what else besides location is there to forget in storage nowadays?). Everything always seemed in order here. Oh an always look online for deals. read more

I was helping some friends of my girlfriend move out, and they had some stuff here. Not much to say as far as rating the service of the location, but the cleanliness of the Storage facility was well maintained and so were the restrooms. The security seemed to be well maintained as there is the automated gate in the front that only opens with a code. There was plenty of parking which was good as I was driving a U-haul truck, and there were lots of storage units which looks good for anyone who is ever interested in renting a spot. There were some other people here that day also removing some of their stuff, but there was no problem with trying to get a cart, or getting in anyone's way. This seems like a good facility, and the location isn't too bad for anyone trying to find it as it was a block away from Cal State LA. read more

Drawbacks: Very hard to get someone on the phone at this location. Had to leave a lot of messages. Public Storage forces you to buy locks and insurance on the spot. Pretty sneaky. In the surrounding area, this location offered the best online pricing and has the BEST customer service. All front office staff are polite and informative. Kept a 5x5 space for 2yrs there. Never had a issue or saw so much as a bug. read more

I arrived in Los Angeles on Memorial Day morning having driven cross country, this location was recommended to me through the Public Storage 1-800 # they recommended the appropriate size unit AND, most importantly to me insured that my motorcycle could be stored there in a surface unit without any hassle. My unit size fits all of my belongings perfectly! Linda was superb in explaining all the access, security & expectations. Most importantly to me the site is clean and conveniently located for my needs. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of price, however I did receive a 1 month half-price discount and they accommodated me on short notice on a holiday. This place is located a few minutes from downtown LA, it has a big parking space to move around in case if you need to bring a big rental truck to move things in. A gated gate and codes to go inside the units, really safe and secure. It's not a 24 hour storage facility which is good since people won't be wondering around in the middle of the night, thats why your stuff will be save in here. The staff in here is super helpful and friendly, when you come here ask always for Linda, she knows how to treat a costumer the right way. She took her time and showed me the units, she gave me a tour around the facility and she will accommodate the perfect storage for you. She is so nice and helpful, she came out of her way to provide an excellent service, showed me details and did her best to have the storage available for me that same day since I was in a last minute move. The manager of the facility Paul was helpful as well, he goes out walking to check the facility 30 minutes before they close making sure everything is fine. Overall I recommend this facility, the staff in here are so helpful and will make the best to accommodate a unit for your needs. But ask for LINDA she will take care of you on everything, and you will thank me later. read more
