This place is well known for horrible service. When I first came here for information the ladies are nice and polite to sell you a storage their selling point is how clean it looks well if you pay attention when you walk into the office the top floor above the office their is a living unit so of course the place is clean an employee lives there on the property that's when cars are parked overnight. Where do I start the business practice is definitely not legal they tell you we can give you a first time new Rental discount I was told for my first year as a new lease so you think it's a deal come to find two months later the up your rate over $100 monthly fee when I asked I was told it's up to them to remove the discount whenever they felt not keep that discount for my first time contract as I was promised they demand auto payment and you must pay the $10.00 monthly fee they say is insurance but your not given any documentation for that it's just billed to you also god forbidden you have to change your credit card on file here comes the drama you must do it in person and if it's past the point of late payment oh they add a late fee a lean fee plus a fee to remove the fees to get your unit undated with a new card over $240 in fee because I was out of town and couldn't go in person to change my card on file what a nightmare of a place this is definitely not worth renting from here I would look elsewhere they will rip you off and demand money for your items to be release to you for no real reason I am opening a case to find out about the insurance charge you have to pay with no documentation of coverage from their company and that is added to everyone you can't remove it even if you have your own insurance to cover them this is ridiculous bad business practices Beware Not to Rent from Here read more

I recently rented a storage space at this location and I am extremely happy and satisfied with the service I have received from all their employees. The location is new. As a result, EVERYTHING is clean, shiny and AWESOME! During my (4) recent trips to store property, I noticed that the large parking lot is ALWAYS clean! Not a single leaf and/or piece of paper to be found anywhere on the ground All the windows throughout the property are clean and spotless, floors throughout the storage areas look like they were just polished, sensor-activated lights are dust free and very bright, easily accessible storage units are large and clean, music playing in the back ground via the overhead speakers is soothing and a very nice touch. Security in this place is like entering Fort Knox. It is UNBELIEVABLE! In order to gain access to the storage unit areas, one must first enter a assigned passcode to gain entry to the hallway leading the storage units. Without entering a passcode, you might as well go back home bcos you are NOT going to enter the storage areas. Once each individual unit has been opened, security sensors are activated in the unit and employees can view who comes in and out of the unit. It TRULY is amazing & appreciated knowing that stored property is secure. I am TRULY thankful that this place offers free use of carts to transport personal property to and from parking lot/storage unit. I have rented storage units in the past and this is the first time any facility has offered free use of carts, THANK YOU!!!! This location is sooooo convenient to the 60 fwy (Pomona Freeway) as there is a on-ramp and a off-ramp within fifty yards of this location's parking lot (Tip: you can ONLY turn right when exiting the parking lot) Each employee I have had contact with has been OUTSTANDING! They are all very professional, knowledgeable, understanding and go out of their way to be helpful. GREAT JOB!! I am a 32 yr old adult and because my mother has a storage there I can't get one with the promo for my items EVEN though we are moving to two different places. Please make this make sense!!!!!! One star is a fair rating for this place. As long as you pay their fees (which they will nickel and dime you,) it is great. Once you need some customer service, good luck. I was a customer for almost or over 2 years where they raised the prices for no reason during my stay. I moved out three weeks ago and went through all procedures, final inspections etc, just to get an email about missing payment and late fees today. When calling I supposedly spoke to Monique who is the manager there and rather than talking with respect when they were in the wrong she continues to raise her voice and talk down to me as if I am ruining her day to correct their error. So let me begin to say this property is spotless, and very clean. Now let me explain the rating. We moved in a year ago, we got the normal raise as expected, then less then a half a year we get slammed with a $60 raise, so that is about $100 raise, twice in a year.I call to complain and crickets, not one call. Then I get a letter in the mail in response to my call. A copy of the rent raise. I find it horrible for a property Raise the rent twice in a year, then when a resident complains noting is said and a copy of the raise gets sent. I find it really unprofessional that I can't even get a call on the phone. If you have the money to spend, by all means go for it. If your tight on money as most Americans are these days, especially in California avoid this place. read more

PROS - The facility has a variety of sizes of storage compartments so you can find the size that fits your need pretty easily. - The facility is new and so far, very well kept. - There's an individual alarm that will be triggered for your compartment if there's unauthorized access. - If you need it, you can arrange to borrow their truck. - The couple managing the facility are nice and will work with you to help you find what you are looking for. - They e-mail your contract and receipt so no paper waste. - Prices are fair for what they are offering. (See TIPS) CONS - The exit of the facility is right turn only which can be inconvenient (not a real dealbreaker). - You can only access your compartment during their hours of operation (which can be inconvenient for some; again, not a dealbreaker) TIPS - Ask them about their specials. Since they have so many different compartments, they just might give you a good deal if you ask nicely. - If you want to save a little money, bring your own lock. They provide locks for sale if you need it though. read more

Horrible customer service. You call, and the manager is never around. They say they will call back and never do. Their price increase are random and very often. My price almost doubled in less than a year. They get you with the first month free, then raise the fee saying you had received a promotion. When we called on why it increased yet again 2 months later, they said they sent an e mail advising of the increase, which was never received (probably never sent). They are a huge rip off. If you go to this storage because it's the cheapest around in a few months you will be paying almost double. read more

It's a bit out of the way for me to store at Able Storage but I'm glad I took the extra time to drive down there. All i can say is WOW!!! Brand spanking new facility with all the bells and whistles and its clean, clean, clean. The rental process was pretty straight forward, the security system is out of this world and to be honest I've used storage before but never had I rented a unit with individual door alarm. And what about all the moving carts available for customers to use!! I mentioned to Naty one of causes of anxiety for me in my past storage experience was sharing 2 carts with the entire facility but she mentioned they have 14 carts for customers to use. You mean I don't have to come down here at off hours to have a moving cart available for my use?! It's an extra 10 minutes from my office in Alhambra but totally worth my time to keep my stuff safe and clean. I'm recommending this place to all my friends and family. read more

I made a reservation online for a 4x5 unit and when I arrived the clerk said that the unit was actually less that 3x5 and was a triangle shape. Then I pulled up the website in front of her and showed her that there was a 5x5 available but she insisted that the only available units were 10x5s. Watch out for these people. They are SHADY. They will verbally agree to a lower price but REFUSE to write that price on the contract that should be legal and binding. Maty at the front desk is unprofessional and has the attitude of a hood rat when doing business. When I questioned why they would not write the agreed price on the contract, they told me to take my business elsewhere. What this does is allow them to raise their rates at a later date, and they know if you don't agree to increased rate, you will have to rent another moving truck and move out, therefore costing you more money. read more

I saw this place had opened up and being that I was in need of some storage I came by. I am blown away at the amazing customer service and quality of this place. Obviously because it is brand new everything is squeaky clean. The manager John told me they have individual alarms for every storage unit, cameras through out the storage place, motion sensor lights and they even have nice music playing in the background! More importantly than all the fancy tech they have, the personalized attention and customer service I received during my visit is what made me want to rave about this place. Stopped in today because i saw they finally finished up this facility. I've been anticipating its completion because I've been looking to leave public storage for a number of reasons but have not found a place worth moving my stuff over to. I was blown away by how nice this facility is inside and out. It has all the bells and whistles you would expect from a storage facility and then some. John was really nice and knowledgeable, he took his time to make sure all my questions were answered and that the unit he showed me was the adequate size. First I want to say John is super cool and the main reason this place got as many stars as it did. The security is good too and the place is super clean with music playing as you go about taking care of your stuff. My issue is with the size. I responded to an ad that said 5X10. I'm currently in-between living spaces and employment for that matter and all of my stuff is in storage (tools, telescope, personal stuff from way back, ....everything except half my clothes and a few odds and ends). The unit I'm moving my stuff out of is 5X10 and when I took my tape measure to check today it read 4'11"X10. But when I did the same thing at Able I got 4'6"X10 but that's not the footprint of the unit that's when you measure to the wall between the studs. If you have shelves that don't fit between the studs then take off 3in. on 3 of the side which comes out to 4'3"X9'6" and the height limit is about a foot to foot and a half lower than my other unit. So there's no way all my stuff will fit. It does say in the rental contract: "SPACE SIZE APPROXIMATE: Space sizes are approximate and for comparison purposes only. Spaces may be smaller than indicated in advertising or other size indicators." Now just to be clear: Definition of approximate (Entry 1 of 2) 1: nearly correct or exact : close in value or amount but not precise an approximate solution an approximate date 2: located close together approximate leaves If I was off by that much with work I have done in the past, I would have been fired. I seriously doubt if the owners of this place were having work done on their house or their car and it came back "approximately" close to what they'd ordered, that they would accept it as something worth paying for. So why should we have to pay for getting short-handed so they can make a few more bucks off something they themselves would not accept? read more

I've used storage before, some great and some terrible. When I say that Able Storage is the best storage experience I've ever had you can be rest assured it's true. They staff was courteous, the prices were affordable, and the units were some of the most well maintained I have ever seen. This storage facility is great everything is Modern and up to date ( brand new structure), for me its cheaper than other places around here, I got such a great deal that I feel guilty saying how much it's going to be per month so I won't.This place has a pretty good camera and alarm systems that actually work( I've seen and heard it) so you'll feel safe storing here. The staff is friendly and helpful, some more helpful than others but every time I've come to store something there's been someone there to assist me or my wife. When you contract a new unit they offer a free moving truck, you can contact them for more details. I highly recommend able storage, I was not bribed, paid or anything to say that.
