Hit and miss. Half of the units are older, has no inner walls, and infested with bugs and rats. The other newer half are new and very nice. Biggest problem is how this place hikes the prices systematically. Listed $175/mo 10x12 units will traverse to $377/mo already within 3-6 months. It's impossible to stay long here. read more

The worst! Don't believe the reviews. This facility is now a virtual kiosk property. There is NEVER anyone here and they don't return phone calls. I have been trying all day to get a hold of someone. I left 3 messages so far today, and still no call back. I've also called their customer support three times today (which by the way, there is NO direct number for) plus I used their online chat, which was useless. Finally, went to a completely different location on 116th in Kirkland and was helped (sort of) by their property manager, Jeff. Good guy! read more

Easy peasy, got the storage unit, got a lock, you can either purchase from them or bring your own. Got a great deal at the time. Unit was clean, easy access. Ironically they have another one just down the street. But this was easy and simple to check-in and check out!...everything online. The lady behind the counter, can't recall her name, was great!...very helpful, and courteous. She helped me when I lost my code. Would definitely use public storage again. read more

Just had the battery stolen from our RV. I was told by the guy at the front desk that I should report it to the police. Public Storage doesn't want to take a report for their own records. Plus the gate has been broken in the open position for 2 days now. Very poor customer service!!!! read more

All bad things, would not recommend, I'll move out asap: 1. No transparency. Find out when signing that the insurance is mandatory and the price was more than what it should be ($14/month?). 2. Got a deal in the beginning but after a couple of months, they increased the rent! They probably think it's a hassle to move out, I hate this business model where they give you a start deal and then hope you will stay through the increases... 3. The fat older lady was extremely rude when I asked for a dolly that was missing, told me to go find one somewhere else, she should be fired immediately. 4. I noticed on a couple of occasions homeless people coming and going, pretty sure management knows about it, but do nothing. read more

Thought I was getting a really good deal and moved out of another storage unit for this one. Got the rent one month and get one month for $1. Then paid the following month. THe month after I get a letter hiking my rent up $30 which ended up being more than the storage I moved out of. I paid that but I wil be moving out and will not recommend them. Hiking rent up not even 4 months later is ridiculous. They waited until I paid the third month to say this. The last place I was at I was there for 3 years before they hiked my rent $6. I only moved because this one was closer. Stupid me. I will not rent here again ever. read more

My unit was right at the entrance, clean and has really bright light so everything is very visible at night time so no need for a lantern. However, the few things I don't like is that they make you pay $20 for a "special" lock that works with that unit which is BS and you can't return it later since you already accepted it on move in day. Also, they say they require you to buy insurance and they give you options of types of insurance but NEVER mention that you can refuse if you already have renters insurance from a different property making it seem that you have to get their insurance when you don't. And DO NOT buy any moving equipment. It's overpriced and unnecessary. $3 for a medium box you're going to recycle later. read more

I rented a larger than needed space on the advice from Public Storage person. it would only cost $1 as I was only going to be there about 14 days. On December 31st I vacated the unit and removed my lock as instructed. At 6:00pm on New Years Eve I was told I had left 1/2 bag of potting soil in unit and would be charged a full months rent if it wasn't removed that night. I went to remove it on Nrw Years Day and was locked out. Bottom line, I was charged a full months rent for a small bag of dirt. Management called feigning reasonable attitude. I would only be charged a $75 cleaning fee. DO NOT fall for their $1 deal for a unit far larger than needed. I hope their auction of my property can cover the $75 charge for disposing of 1/4 pound of potting soil. HORRIBLE, RIDICULOUS, business policy. Management magnanimously offer to reduce bill to mere $75 cleaning fee. Bad joke. read more

As far as storage goes, this was a great experience. Everything went as planned, there were no unforeseen charges or fees. I had no issues with the safety or security of my items. If you find a good deal online, that price is locked in for the first 6 months. I didn't go over 6 months so I don't know what kind of an increase that would have been, but overall I was satisfied with all my interactions with their staff. read more

We are selling our house and needed somewhere to store excess furniture and boxes for a few months. I called and talked to 10 different storage facilities on the Eastside. Each one has different sizes available and very different prices. We decided that Public Storage at the corner of 124th and 124th had offered us the best deal and made a deal with them, using the online prices. So as I was driving to that larger facility just a block away from this one, I saw this facility and stopped to see what price they'd offer me (this site is harder to find online). I was extremely pleased to find out that I would save over $40 a month by reserving a space at this location. Rodney, the manager of the larger facility, happened to be onsite training Paul at this location, and remembered my name from an earlier phone call. Rodney was very helpful and friendly. Paul is a gem -- an employee that you'd want to help you make decisions on size of unit, box needs, etc. He is humble, friendly, kind and made me feel very comfortable in my decisions. We are excited about the price of our unit and look forward to working with Rob, the daily employee at that site. read more
