What a nightmare of a place to do business. They do not answer their phones. Nobody is ever in the office. In the off chance that their voicemail picks up they will not call you back. If you call the numbers listed you get stuck in and endless phone tree loop. But, they will be happy to charge you nearly $600/mo for the privilege of using a storage unit. They never forget to charge you. When you need to arrange any kind of meeting with them, they will not respond. So, figuring out if you can have a storage pod dropped off will not be an option since there is absofu**inglutely nobody there to answer that question. read more

Edit to Add: Looked at my account and now they are saying I owe $150 plus an extra $15 for insurance. I moved out at the beginning of July and they are still trying to charge me for something I'm not using or even have access to anymore. What a joke and a scam. I'm not paying that. Unfortunately I've had a horrible experience with Public Storage as they are forcing me to pay $86 for no reason. First they jacked up the rent from $74 to $101. I scheduled to move out on June 30th but needed a couple extra days so I went on the app to extend it with no issue. I'm moved out by the 5th but I get a call saying I still have an "outstanding balance" What? Why? I've contacted customer service to try to get it deleted and they are saying I have to pay it and I'm not "eligible for refunds per the contract" this is definitely a scam. That is the first main issue. Second of all the place could use lights that don't turn off every minute. There are no lights in the storage unit itself. Impossible to organize read more

Know before you rent: -This site is super difficult to access with trucks. -Very expensive. They raise fees quickly from the initial price and continuously raise fees over time. Make sure you ask for a specific pricing quote over a year even if you plan to use it for a couple of months. -They charge you for a month and don't prorate upon move out. This is a technique used to grab extra cash from renters at the convenience of Public Storage as they re-rent the space. -This site is super difficult to access with trucks. This is the most poorly managed storage facility I have ever used. On my first day moving in they tried to take my personal possessions while I ran to get gas, my stuff was only there unattended for 10 minutes When I confronted the management they said that I clearly don't value my stuff, WHO SAYS THAT TO A CUSTOMER! In addition to this nightmare they are constantly having issues with their gate and have ZERO security monitoring the entrance gate that has been wide open 24 hrs a day for over a week. I set up my unit completely online and haven't had any contact with employees. Setup was simple, their monthly rate was nearly $50 less than other storage facilities in the area. I've never had any issue with my code working or getting in to access my unit. My unit is through a door where there are hallways with multiple units. The hallways are clean and well lit. There's also a courtesy dolly inside to assist with any big items. When I first moved in the unit was clean, the light worked and the lock I'd pre-purchased was waiting just inside the door. The reason for 4 stars versus 5 stars is due to some of the driveway/road inside the gates needing some attention. If you have a lower clearance vehicle you may need to get creative to get to your unit. Also, having to put your code into the gate to leave is a bit of nuisance. How about a sensor pad like other storage facilities have? Outside of those minor things this is a great place to store your stuff! read more

The manager that was there when I rented (Brandon) was such an amazing young man and made me feel very safe in storing my belongings at this location. The new manager, Kyle, has continued that personalized service. Kyle's professionalism, attitude and compassion went above and beyond what was called for in his position. As my previous reviews states; the facility really does need to be updated and the area manager, Jason, does have the empathy and personality of a rabid dog; I will still rent from them again if I ever return to the Pacific NW. I got a Labor Day deal here on a 10x10 unit last year. Initially the manager was really nice but he didn't change the lock on my unit like he was supposed to get my unit ready for move in so when I showed up with my moving crew early in the morning we were locked out until the office opened which was unfortunate since I had to pay the movers by the hour. Was a huge waste of time and money because the manager didn't follow through on a simple task. Also when I first signed up he guaranteed my rate for a minimum of six months and said it wouldn't go up more than 20%. They raised my rate at exactly six months and over 26%. When I tried to dispute it his explanation was he had misspoke before (they actually raise 25%) and refused to honor the pricing I had been previously quoted. Despite several calls and trying to escalate to the district manager, my request to have the original quote honored was still denied. I am keeping my stuff there since the unit still a good price for its size but so far I am not impressed with their customer service and don't be surprised if they bait and switch you on pricing. Additionally I have come by when the gate has been broken and wide open with no security that I saw so it does not appear to always be fully secure. read more

Oh and any 5 star reviews are most likely done by customers right after they have signed up because they put on a fake customer service show for new customers and ask customers to write 5 star reviews. Terrible customer service, incomplete / inaccurate site descriptions, bait and switch all the way. I came prepared with my own lock and key and my own moving supplies, could not get supplies to far away storage unit and had to buy a different, more expensive lock because of the unit - lock type (they have two different kinds at the facility). Also, I think my storage unit has some kind of rats or mice. On top of minimal customer service, I was never recieved notice of a monthly rent storage rate increase for my unit. By the way, never got that reduced rate for first month's rent. I would steer clear of this location in favor of better local storage companies. read more

Rented a 10x10 space for 4 months. Recommend that you avoid this business if at all possible, there are better alternatives nearby. Both on-line & on site signage displayed an offer of first month for $1. When I requested that special, I was told "that offer is not good at this location". I suggested that they should take down the sign, the response was "I'd get in trouble if I did that". When renting a space they insist that you purchase "mandatory" insurance. Of course, this insurance is not required, nor is it a good policy. High price, and covers very little. They also go to great lengths to sell you one of their high-priced locks. Since I was unsure of my eventual move-out date, I specifically asked how much "lead time" was necessary before moving out. The answer was "you are only obligated for 24 hours notice". However, when I closed out my storage space, the same person (Chris) told me I was obligated for the full month (26 more days). Chris did share my displeasure with the site Manager who called later that day. However, the call was not to resolve the issue, but to merely reiterate it is a "month to month" lease, and that it does not matter what I was told by their employee when renting. read more

I do not write reviews often, but I would never store anything you care about at this facility. Major rodent problem that is not being addressed. I had a classic car there and that is all I had. Within about 3-4 months a rat or mouse got in and chewed through the glove box, seat, and some engine components. In addition, there was a bunch of stuff the rat was pulling in from other lockers, which I discovered when I found its nest under the back seat. Most frustrating is that I called the district manager 3-4 times and left multiple voicemails with no follow up at all. No funny business; leave whenever you want. Buying Boxes: U-Haul by the Kirkland Costco. The boxes cost much less than Public Storage and the staff are very helpful. Here are the facts. You can decide how you'd rate this company/location. Thursday Booking: I reserved a 10x10 unit online for $1 (1st month) and $125 (every month after). Great. I went to the location to see the unit. Nice guy at the office. I was unsure if my couch would fit, so the manager said they would hold the reservation until Monday so I could measure. Also great. Sunday Signing: I decide to go with the unit and come in to sign the papers one day early. The manager says they released the unit because they didn't hear back from me (reminder: I had 1 more day to decide). I even had an email from that morning stating I had ONE DAY LEFT on my reservation for $125/month. Either way, the manager says they have a 10x10 unit they can provide for $159/month. After chatting for 5 minutes, and showing him my reminder email at the price of $125/month, he says there is nothing he can do and it was my fault for not updating him on my couch measurements. Finally, I try calling numerous corporate numbers to resolve this, and they all got automatically connected to the manager I just talked to at the store location! Bias Summary: They tried to scam me by raising the price on a unit. The manager tried to scam me into buying "free" boxes when they clearly weren't free; it took me 5 minutes of walking through numbers to make him realize 30% off doesn't mean free. First off they increased the rent by 20% and got constant calls to pay. Then when I went to move out my keys wouldn't open my lock. I had two movers I was paying by the hour. It took 1.5 hours to find a place with bolt cutters on a Sat. When I started to unpack I realized I was missing pots pans, a vacuum, a breast pump, 2 blenders, two plastic pull out containers filled with bathroom stuff, My daughters new born body part sculptures along with other decorations just to name a few. When I called to tell them of course there was nothing they could do! They use stickers as a way to know if the locks have been changed and a video camera that only goes back two weeks!!!!!!! Are kidding me what a joke! I pay 140.00 dollars a month to have my belongings stolen! If I had known this was there way of keeping people out I would of never stored my stuff there.
