I'm kind of torn about what to give this place…read more I needed a truck on a Saturday morning to swap some furniture from my storage unit to my home. Uhaul, Budget, everyone was already booked up. Handy Andy gets bonus points for being able to accommodate me without an advance reservation. They also got us checked out quickly and charged the same rental fee as the other "big boys." The subtraction point is because the truck was an absolute junker. There was a hole in the driver's seat so big I could put my whole arm through it all the way to the floor. The truck cab was filthy. The cargo area floor was ripping up and there was no ramp. The truck was making a horrible noise - as if a belt was about to go. It felt like the suspension and shocks were totally shot. We had to be extra careful about using enough furniture padding and tie-downs. The place itself is an absolute dump. A literal junkyard. We left there wondering about the company's worker's comp history. There are tools hanging hap-hazardly all over the walls, multiple story shelves and an enormous crazy-hot totally open space heater that would have caught my pants on fire if I had been unfortunate enough to back into it while in line. The guys were nice enough and I did get a last-minute truck. But yeesh - what a rundown dump.

Meanwhile, new customers are still being brought in at around $70-75/month. So the system is clearly working: step one, get you in with a normal-ish price; step two, remind you that stability is a myth. When I asked about it, I was given the classic "economic factors" explanation, which has become the modern equivalent of shrugging while your wallet disappears. It's hard not to notice the pattern here. It feels less like pricing and more like a slow game of "how much inconvenience will you tolerate before moving all your stuff just becomes your second job." And honestly, it fits right in with the general theme of modern life, where everything vaguely necessary seems designed with a quiet assumption that you will eventually run out of energy to keep arguing about it. So yes--technically it's a storage unit. But it also doubles as a gentle reminder that the starting price is more of a mood than a promise. If you're considering renting here, just assume the advertised rate is the opening chapter, not the story you're actually signing up for.

We rented 15' moving truck for 2 days. We spent a lot of money filling up the truck the night before returning. Unfortunately something happened overnight. Gasoline smells everywhere and there's gas leak signs on the ground. The tank dropped to 30% next morning. Weird situation and we were so surprised. During backing up, engine also shuts down saying "no gas" on dash even though meter says 30%. I reported the situation upon return and the staff handled it professionally. We are very thankful to the staff here. Other U-Haul locations don't have as excellent service as here. I would definitely recommend this station more than any other U-Haul branches in the big Seattle area. Thank you

The store was immaculately clean, well-stocked and the manager Kyle was super helpful, friendly and I was quickly on my way. When I arrived to pick up my 15ft U-Haul, Kyle explained each part of the check-out process (I asked him to repeat most things twice because I had moving brain delay). He happily repeated and clarified until I understood how to avoid any surcharges (mind the gas level and return it at or slightly above to avoid a $30 charge, which I did!). He gladly helped me out to the truck with my moving supplies. The truck was parked so I only had to drive it straight out the front gate (yay!). Also, the truck was in immaculate condition (no grime on the inside from other users). Kyle said to call if I had any questions once I got on my way and wrote the main phone number on my paperwork, so it was easy to find. I had a question later in the day and Kyle picked up immediately to get me the help I needed. I have rented U-Hauls from a bunch of different companies in the past. Unlike Cecilia in 2022 who was still waiting for a manager to return her call, Kyle returned my call when I called but didn't leave a message. On their truck the signage on it is covered with dirt and couldn't read it until I got into the next lane. It stated not responsible for any windshield damage stay 200 ft behind well I was not close to the truck when this happened but on the back of the last trailer the signed looked like it said 20 ft cuz it was so dirty couldn't read it. So I called the company to let them know hey this happened the load should have been covered and ur driver was in the center lane speeding and on a cars tail and driver had to get into the slow lane real fast cuz the truck didn't even have one full car length between them ....but never got a call back to talk to the guy.....great customer service

Which does mean you have to follow the rules, but what you get is the peace of mind that your unit is safe from theft or damage. Accessing the unit is easy, the bay is huge, the elevators are large, and I've never had to wait on someone else to access my unit. They have a bunch of dollies on site and their shop is very fairly priced if you need a lock, boxes or packing material. The building is gated making it even more secure. I highly recommend this place especially if your items are valuable or would benefit from temperate control.

The facility is clean and bright, climate controlled, and the elevators were never out of order and there were always carts available. Move-in and move-out were hassle-free, and the folks who manage it are really, really nice. This is a really local facility, and it shows. Overall, I can't imagine a better storage experience!
