I had a unit for a year or so, since Judy was no longer in the office the young man working there called me and told me my unit had been broken into so come and see if anything is missing. When I got there I was shocked I couldn't believe how much of my stuff was missing, my unit had been so full you couldn't even walk in it, now there's a whole lot of room to walk around. I asked the man in the office what they had on the cameras because they had to make multiple trips in and out to steal so much stuff, he said there was nothing out of the ordinary, how were they able to get thru the main gate and then have the code to get in the building and make multiple trips without being noticed? They told me my unit was the only one broken into, that same day when at my unit a man came to his unit which was down a few from mine, he had to have the lock cut off, he said he had been there the previous week and his unit had a different lock so it had to be cut off he was missing half of his belongings, he then put a new lock on it he was there to empty his unit once again he had to have the lock cut off when he opened his unit it was completely empty. So I had been lied to my unit was not the only one broken into. I believe this was an inside job I find it hard to believe that someone could make so many trips in and out and not be noticed. I do not recommend this storage facility. I feel that more units were broke into but they were also told they were the only one. read more

My 32' Class C Winnebago was broken into, driven off of the lot, and found by police completely stripped and destroyed down near the airport. The coach was less than two years old. read more

Outstanding Snohomish / King County self storage location. Clean, well maintained and priced competitively for the region. Judy in the office goes out of her way to accomadate each customer and meet their specific storage requirements. Due to my business travel and projects throughout the country for the past 28 years, I have rented over 35 various storage units throughout the US and I find Woodinville WA. Eagle Self Storage to be one of the best. The extra attention to every units security option both on site and remote monitoring is exceptional. Austin, operations/customer service was professional and efficient in checking out the move-in truck to ensure safe and economical operation. This facility is worth checking out and disregard some of the old reviews that are stale and not accurate in my opinion. read more

I thought Eagle Self Storage could use a more up to date review. Been renting a unit from them for a couple years now and couldn't be happier. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly, and place is secure. Inside storage unit has stayed clean and dry and have had no issues. I dont think there has been a rate increase and if there was it was very small. Would recommend them to anyone! read more

I have rented a storage unit there since 1995 and it just flooded for the second time. And the last time for me! Newer tenants didn't know the place flooded before. When I went into the office and told the managers they should disclose to people that the place has flooded in the past, they said they weren't around then and didn't know about it. Then one pointed out that the contract says that valuables should not be stored there. Huh? And for what it's worth, the managers say that a tree stump clogged a culvert way down stream causing the flooding. Take a look how the land lays and take a look at the drainage. Things could go wrong very easily. The buldings slope/step down perpendicular to the skinny creek/ditch and then there's a wall of earth. So when the creek/ditch rises, there is no where for the water to go but up to the storage buildings. The higher units are less vulnerable if you must get a unit there. Good luck! read more

I have never written an online review before, but after my experience here I decided it was about time I started. Once and a while you have a great experience where someone or some business goes out of their way to show you not only that your a valuable customer, but go way and above the call of duty to prove it. I recently had to move abruptly and I called the manager about some questions I had as there are many options out there. The manager, Judy was kind went out of her way to answer any question I had and after our brief first conversation I knew this was the place I wanted to keep all of things that make my home special. After I moved in and then needed to go through everything to prepare for my next move I had scheduled a long day to literally go through everything and make sure it was packed correctly. Judy came by in her golf cart wth a smile and just wanted to make sure all was ok and if I needed anything. I had asked her if there was any place close by I could grab a burger or something easy and she had let me know that at that time not too many places were open. To my surprise about 30 minutes later, I see Judy come back on her cart with a plate of food. She went out of her way to make me a sandwich just because she knew I had been there a long time and knew I had to keep working on it to be done before they closed. Who does that anymore? That is the kind of thing that just blows me away and I have personally recommended this facility and told them how wonderful an experience I have had not only with the facilty, but most importantly the people that run it. I've been there 3 years. New ownership recently and prices are being raised the 2nd time in 6 months.

We've rented from them for the past 5 years and in the last two years the prices have almost doubled and I just got another increase today. At this point, I have no idea when their prices are going to cap out. The units are out of the way for myself, but the price was right when I signed up. If I had it to do over again, I would never have stored my stuff there. read more

I rented from this facility a couple of years ago and there was this older women who worked in the office that was so nice. My husband and I decided when we moved that we would get a large storage unit from Eagle - since we appreciated them in the past and had the personal service. Calling around Woodinville they are the most expensive but we decided to bite the bullet and take our business there because they were worth the extra $40 a month. Today I went in ready to rent a 10 x 20 (not a cheap or small unit). The women at the front counter was rude. First she told me that she didn't have keys and that I could not see the unit for rent. I asked if I came in later in the week when I could see if they would reserve it for me and she told me with no uncertain terns that they would not reserve it for me. So when I offered to rent it unseen she said that the truck was in the shop and they were not sure it would be available for rental when I needed it. She refused to follow up with the shop to find out if it would so I knew if I needed to reserve a Uhaul. Then she told me that the coupon I got online would not work because I am renting too large of a unit. Then she asked if I had homeowners insurance and I offered that I did but not a copy with me but offered the name and number of my agent to call to get what she needed and she told me that she would NOT do it and instead would charge the insurance to rent it and I could cancel it after 30 days. At the end of the conversation I finally looked at her and said that I am starting to not feel welcome and will go down the street. She did nothing to stop me. Considering that I would have been paying $250 a month for at least a year Eagle storage lost $3000 because of Tessie and her uncaring attitude. While I understand that everyone has a bad day and that she was mad that she had to work at another location - taking it out on me when I gave her chance after chance to help me is not what I deserve as a customer. Not only did they loose the money and potential customer, but they lost someone who had a history with them and raved about their facility to their friends. read more

I just moved my furniture and belongings out after 5-1/2 years and I am happy to say everything has stayed dry and in good condition. Even the wood furniture. I had an unheated unit and never had a problem with moisture. My things even stayed relatively clean after all this time. I would highly recommend them. read more

See post below; The place flooded the winter of 2009/2010 as well (evidently for the third time?), I forget what month exactly. It was only a few inches of water, but for most people that was enough to collapse the boxes on the ground, then the rest came down into the water. During this (evidently latest) flood, the managers said this was the first time this had happened. You would think that by law they would have to disclose this flooding issue, but nothing was said to my partner who rented the unit nor mentioned in the contract. We got lucky, our things were at the high end of the facility, and we moved out. Otherwise, knowing now that there had been past undisclosed floods, we would sue, and would definitely win as this deception falls outside of their contractual protections. However it still might be a question as to how much we could recover, and whether that would be less than our court costs. A class action might be better. I drove by there recently and they had put up some sort of cheap concrete block wall at the low end of the facility, but only at that end, not the other 3 sides of the place. Look at the map, and the creek location. Bottom line, don't go there. read more
