Sign up was quick and their rates were competitive (often lower than other units in the area). Their staff was super friendly and recognized me by name every time I was there! Also, weird love: they play the BEST music in their storage areas. It shouldn't be a big deal, but when you're spending 2-5 hours moving in and out it makes a difference (Beatles, classic rock, 80s and 90s). But THE BEST PART is that they have a moving truck you can reserve/use any time you need it for as many times as you need it! Seriously, free moving truck? The storage unit literally pays for itself compared to the cost of a moving truck. I have absolutely nothing bad I can say about this place. Even the bathroom was always clean.

Which does mean you have to follow the rules, but what you get is the peace of mind that your unit is safe from theft or damage. Accessing the unit is easy, the bay is huge, the elevators are large, and I've never had to wait on someone else to access my unit. They have a bunch of dollies on site and their shop is very fairly priced if you need a lock, boxes or packing material. The building is gated making it even more secure. I highly recommend this place especially if your items are valuable or would benefit from temperate control.

I will say- do not request to switch units until you are ready to move your shit. I had 24 hours between paying the difference and needing to be out, so be ready! This is more of a company policy than a note on this location. I love that I can access this location on an app. I hate getting out to type the numbers, esp in the rain, so this is super easy for me. One time my app and code weren't working, so I called and got no answer. Within a few min, I got a call back, and the owner let me know she was in a meeting but would do whatever she could to help me, including wait at the gate to let me in. I was able to get back in and get everything reset quickly with her and was SO grateful for the fast help. It's nice having someone on site to help so that I don't have to call the corporate number. The autopay is easy. I love the system. This is a great location for me and is super easy to park and get in and out of.

I had a unit for a year or so, since Judy was no longer in the office the young man working there…read morecalled me and told me my unit had been broken into so come and see if anything is missing. When I got there I was shocked I couldn't believe how much of my stuff was missing, my unit had been so full you couldn't even walk in it, now there's a whole lot of room to walk around. I asked the man in the office what they had on the cameras because they had to make multiple trips in and out to steal so much stuff, he said there was nothing out of the ordinary, how were they able to get thru the main gate and then have the code to get in the building and make multiple trips without being noticed? They told me my unit was the only one broken into, that same day when at my unit a man came to his unit which was down a few from mine, he had to have the lock cut off, he said he had been there the previous week and his unit had a different lock so it had to be cut off he was missing half of his belongings, he then put a new lock on it he was there to empty his unit once again he had to have the lock cut off when he opened his unit it was completely empty. So I had been lied to my unit was not the only one broken into. I believe this was an inside job I find it hard to believe that someone could make so many trips in and out and not be noticed. I do not recommend this storage facility. I feel that more units were broke into but they were also told they were the only one.

They really only want customers who are going to fill the unit, leave, pay the rent every month but never need access to the stuff they store. The other day I had to pull half of my things out in order to access the item I was looking for and it took a good couple of hours and one of the office dudes comes wheeling along in that goofy golf cart to scold me about having my stuff in the hallway. What am I supposed to do with it? My rent is paid and I'm there working away and I am hassled why? The top building is always dirty, the lowest building attached to the office smells like an ashtray, I am talking the whole building b/c the office dudes sit in the first drive up unit and smoke and it's pretty likely anyone storing anything in that building is going to discover the stuff they stored smells like they are smokers. The guy with a unit right across from mine told me (as he was moving out) he found a bunch of rodent droppings all over his stuff inside his unit. My advice is take your business somewhere else this place will make you feel like you matter very little and you can get treated like that anywhere. I'm moving out as soon as I find a new storage place. Here is an update: since posting my review here, Sherlock Storage sent me an eviction e-mail stating that I violated the lease agreement and they cancelled my gate access and I can only get into my unit escorted by someone from the office during their office hours. This is not right!
