I have been with public Storage since sept last year and the Storage bill has went up 3 or 4 times since then that Is totally ridiculous and they are not even trying to work with or anything they are trying to get as much money out of me as they can my home burned down to the ground. This location is very much in disrepair and doesn't feel safe. The lights inside are flickering and some don't work, the front door is broken open, and the first main elevator is broken. This place looks like an abandoned ghetto. I will most likely be moving to a better conditioned, safer, well lit, and more secure location. read more

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a storage unit, I was forced to move to a more expensive unit on the first floor because both elevators were broken for several months. The doors are broken and many times won't close so the place is freezing. There are never any employees there. Even after they "fixed' one of the two elevators the "working one" often gets stuck on the top floors. I was forced to take a flat bed cart down the stairs because the elevator refused to come to or stop at the first floor. The stairs are not marked leading to safety issues if a fire or gas leak occurs. The front gate is often open allowing anyone access to the property. They charged me for an extra unit last month and then refused to refund me. If it weren't for the fact that the location of the property is ideal and other issues in my life have been taking up my time, I would move out immediately. The property managers don't call you back and when one escalates to the regional manager level the regional manager does not call one back. The Fire Marshal has visited the property and cited them and also requested they put more signage on and directing people to the stairs. Public storage has ignored these warnings and suggestions and continues to endanger it's customers. I think the customers should organize a rent strike. This place is just awful. It is generally OK and clean. The temperature is acceptable on the first and the second floor. However, the third floor units are hot in summer. One of the two elevators did not operate for more than a month. Luckily, there was always at least one elevator that worked. read more

I visited the Public Storage on Christopher Ave yesterday October 15, 2022 to make sure my space is ready for move in on October 16. I was greeted by the Office manage with a warm welcome. thank you! he was very accommodating, very thorough on explaining everything I needed to move in. read more

I have had a unit in this Public Storage location for MANY years. I have NEVER had a problem! My belongings are safe, the building has great security and it is very easy for me to gain access every time I need to. The staff has always been extremely courteous, kind and helpful. I couldn't ask for any improvements! read more

Nobody is here to help you... stuck here trying to get inside the gate to get to my unit..... Fyi the air conditioning in the units never work and there is no lights in any units... for $120 a month go elsewhere Oh and NO carts available or present... Smh read more

It's really quite easy to book a unit but getting customer service or making any changes is quite difficult.

My rent haas increased 33% over 2 years! The average rate of inflation its 1.8%. This is outrageous! There are never any carts available. They have one cart that they keep out. If they do not have enough carts they need to buy more with the 33% increase! I think that the 'positive' review must be a paid review because it is not factual. read more

I've been a customer here for about 4 years and it has become less and less desirable. The main reasons I've stayed are its convenience for me and avoiding the hassle of actually moving everything. My biggest gripes are with the company and the facility and not with the staff. 18 months ago I upgraded to a larger unit. In that short span of time (newest is this month) my rent has increased TWENTY FIVE PERCENT ($161 to $202). Some of my issues other than the price: My unit door was damaged and nobody notified me. The main gate was broken (and therefore left open) for at least 4-5 months. The side door was also broken for months, allowing anyone (including non-customers) 24/7 access to the inside of the building. The staff has always been polite and helpful when I have dealt with them. read more

I've been using PS to store some household items and seasonal items for about four years. In the beginning the place was great--clean, well-maintained facility plus a responsive and friendly staff. Lately, I've noticed broken doors, no lights, no carts, no security, and even worse, no staff. Seems like there's never anyone in the office. The doors and elevator were broken last week when I was there. My room is on the second floor, so carrying stuff in and out of my storage unit with no working elevator or cart is no fun. This Location is awesome! Its Always clean and staff is alway available. The property manager as well as the district manager are both super friendly and easy to talk to. Public Storage has by far been the best experience with storage companies by far and I would recommend them to anyone whom had storage needs! read more

I have been extremely happy with this facility. There has always been a cart available to move things in or out of storage. The facility has always been clean and there is almost always someone available to answer any question that I may have. This particular storage is in a great location the property manager was excellent in helping us decide on a size he had great interpersonal skills and very helpful in helping us decide on a size that was good for my personal items and that wasn't too expensive at the same time. 0 stars!! this is the worse place i've ever stored in my life!!!! horrible customer service, never any fiat beds, entrance gate, doors and elevators half way work never constantly, it says climate control but it's absolutely freezing inside, lights in the hallway but not in the units so u can't see to move anything, and the gates lock you in if you leave after closing and there is no way out! had to walk home and on top of it all i call corporate and either they never return your calls or can't do anything for you, another words they don't give a s***. i wouldn't recommend storing here or abby public storage location read more

Go somewhere else I paid on a Friday for my space and loaded my car on the next day to put into my storage and the code was wrong they gave me, no one was there to let me in no one was in the office on march 14 never come here because I won't again. read more
