Public Storage allows rats to run rampant in this facility and refuses to make things right with their customers. I spent over $1000 storing my belongings here only to have some of the most important things completely ruined by rats. Their employees let on that it was happening all over the complex. To date, Public Storage has refused to do even the bare minimum to amend the situation and offered a very small sum of money (a fraction of what I lost) in exchange for signing a release agreeing to not talk about it. I declined their insulting offer and they've opted to ban me from their social media sites so I can't warn their potential customers. This company is *AWFUL* - store your belongings elsewhere. read more

I needed to have a clean ironed shirt for a conference i was to attend an they had free laundry service an I needed it bad!

I was pleased with the whole experience however time consuming so be prepared to spend at least a half hour for all of your paperwork! I was unaware of the extra expense for the security lock also, this should be let known to perspective renters in the very beginning with quote along with insurance rate! I had to also purchase a drying agent as for a bit of mildew on the concrete wall facing the east wall of corner shed. So watch for moisture issues, we are in the northwest so go figure! I have nothing but good things to say regarding Scott the manager he is very thorough! One more note is to be careful at exit gate if you have a low profile vehicle!!! I started with this storage location a little over a year ago at $105.00 per month for a 10x10. I was very happy with that price and when they raised the price to $138.00 per month I was still good with the storage company. I logged on to their web site to pay my normal monthly bill and find that my rent went from $138.00 to $167.00. I was not notified of the price change nor do I think the price should be going up by $62.00 with only being with them for a year. Once this crazyness ends around the world, we will be moving to another location that charges far less and doesn't raise their prises so fast and so high. read more

The local staff remain very kind and helpful. However, my latest bill contained a 17.2% increase in my monthly rent...after only six months. When I called to question why such an exorbitant increase, I was sent from one number to another for an answer. Still no call back from the District Manager after being promised a call back within two days. Don't think I'll rent from Public Storage again. read more

Super rude staff, Krystal at the front desk was really rude and confrontational. She asked if we had called her back, I guess they require you to make an appointment first, even though we booked online and it said nothing about calling to make an appointment, and made sure to let us know they were "really busy with many responsibilities" even though we were the only ones there. She asked a million questions about exactly what we were storing, she said it was to help but was super pushy on it and wouldn't stop asking more and more questions. They tried to force us into buying mattress covers and refused to take no for an answer. The lady Krystal almost hit me with the golf cart they had to take people around in, you can tell she was very awkward at driving it. read more

My husband and I rented a unit here to store our car for awhile. The location was convenient and easy to get to. We got a great deal with their Memorial Day Sale. Ellie was great moving us in and she made the whole thing easy. The manager Heather is the nicest person. She always has a friendly smile to greet you. Don't trust these guys, they will get your stuff stolen, and lie to you about getting your stuff back or any money owed to you for your belongings. A friend of mine had her stuff stolen over 6 months ago, and still they have not compensated her for her loss. They admitted to the poor lapse in judgment in how they have handled this matter, and she still waits for her money. She was always on time with her payments, has been a model customer of several other Public Storage locations, this was the worst location. read more

My storage unit has been broken into twice at this location. Most recently the thieves removed the entire door frame to get to into the unit. The property managers asked that I check to see what if anything was stolen and then offered since I was there and the end of the month was approaching I could pay my rent. Nice!... During my move into the storage unit I realized that I hade made a critical error by picking a unit that was to small for my belongings. This was such a stressful mistake and when I talked to Heather in the office she was fantastic about problem solving and offered me several solutions to solve my dilemma. I was impressed with her customer service it was absolutely stellar! As far as the units, they are priced better than the local competitors, offer great move in specials and they are very clean with nice high ceilings. The manager, Chris, & staff are very nice in manners; however, he did not attend to details. We found to our shock: roof leaking in Unit #34. For over a year we paid $159/month. Their encouraged Insurance will not cover most of the losses we suffered-- we found out to our utter dismay! We lost 50% family&baby photos, almost all of our textbooks from college, son s book collection, comic books, Pokemon cards, my Dad s US Marine Corps flag dated WWII, our circa 1800 s [irreplaceable heirlooms inherited from grandparents] furniture,[the New Royal 1890 s treadle sewing machine is a wreck! It was in great working condition prior to this horrid storage experience!], the 1900 s Hoosier cabinet suffered very bad water damage as did the circa 1700 s table & dresser, our newer walnut-cabinet enclosed Fisher & Pioneer stereos, Critterion home theatre speakers, vinyl record & CD players, radios, ALL summer clothes, linens, towels, my son s baby toys & Whiz Kid computer, Depression-era dishes that shattered when the wet, collapsed boxes fell over from severe black-and-dark-green, whitish molds covered everything...tools rusted, what a nightmare! When one is disabled, you trust folks to do their duty and this facility majorly failed in protecting our family belongings. I feel like, at the Very Least, that they owe us reimbursement for at least six months payments for their negligence! Very poor attention to facility safety & conditions. Engage their services at your peril. **EPIC FAIL**! read more

Wasn't happy that they sent an email with one total, I arrive to pay an entirely different total (higher than the email) along with the surprise lock that you HAVE to buy. Things like that should be discussed in the pricing when someone inquires. No one likes additional costs at the time of checking into their held storage unit. Be upfront and honest to avoid making the customer feel jaded in the future. read more

I am sorry, K.L. for your lose. I have one of my own to share to the Laypersons out there to second "your emotion". I have never written a review until now. Why now you ask? Because I need to share my sad story about public storage places, particularly this one. For those of you that already know the who/what/when/where/whys of storage places can stop reading this and move on. I don't want to bore you nor do I don't want to hear the "should of/could of/would ofs". Hindsight will ALWAYS be 20/20. My story begins with my relocating 3 months ago to Washington State. Needing additional storage, I decided to rent a unit close to my relative's house with whom I am staying with. I did not read any fine print or the contract. i just picked a unit, signed on the bottom line, set up an automatic payment system and that would be that. I can access my things any time I need them and that they would be "safe". Simple, right? Fast forward to December 31, 2013. I get a voice message from the storage facility to call them which I did 1/2 hour later but could only leave a voicemail message. I did not get a return call and thought they had resolved whatever issue they had. Four days later I just HAPPENED to stop by my unit and noticed the lock was different. I also noticed a silver piece that looked like part of a lock on the ground next to my unit but thought nothing of it. I went to the office and told the worker there about the lock. She said that was what she had called about (keep in mind 5 DAYS AGO!). As we were making our way to my unit, she said when they were doing their "checks" the lock was gone from my unit. Strange, I said since I KNOW I secured the unit. When she opened the door I immediately noticed my boxes were arranged differently. I also noticed bolt cutters IN my unit! I don't own a bolt cutter! That's when I noticed my safe along with one container was gone! I will spare you the expletives, amount of yelling and emotional outburst that shortly followed for the next approximately 3 hours! It got worse when I slowly started to wrap my brain around what happened and what was in my safe and my container!!!! 911 was called, a sheriff came out took a statement, gave me my case number and took the blot cutter along with the piece of the lock that was on the ground. The unit across from me was ALSO broken into and I strongly "encouraged", shall I say, the workers to call them! They came while the sheriff was still there and shared that their unit was broken into TWICE! The protocol or LACK OF is unacceptable for break-in situations for this storage place. These #$@%! thieves have 5 days head start to pond or e-bay my belongings!! Needless to say, the rest of my things were out by the end of the day. My hard, painful lesson to share with you, Layperson, do not store any valuables and sentimental items in a storage place unless they have excellent security measures in place. The access code did not help me since any Tom, Dick or Harry can rent a unit, have an access code and it's free reign on the property! The lock didn't help because, again, any Tom, Dick or Harry can buy a bolt cutter at your local store and cut the @#$! lock off! I will be using a safe deposit box from now on. It was extremely difficult to call my parents and tell them the items they gave me over 30 years ago is gone along with my jewelry and my best friend's diamond pendant she gave me on her wedding day among other things......gone. The insurance brochure for this storage place states "Types of property not covered.....deeds, money, jewelry, watches, furs, garments trimmed with fur, valuable papers and records, and photographs" so I'm basically not expecting any help in that area. Doesn't matter, no amount of money in the UNIVERSE can replace what was taken. I am still currently dealing with this situation and wish to spare you what I am currently experiencing.
