We have been attempting to pay storage there for 2 small units since "FreeUp," took over recently. I have had NOTHING but problems from them, and they don't seem to know how to utilize their accounting system. Two months in a row, I sent them our rent amounts due, (via our bank's bill pay system.) Both times (last month, and this month,) they have taken our money, payment processed, I got receipts for both payments, but they still claim our rent is not paid! We are moving out asap! PLEASE, PLEASE think TWICE before renting from them!! If there was a "minus" score to give them, I would give hem a -10. read more

Free Up Storage acquired this business. Besides being a mini storage facility it is also a mailbox facility. Free up storage close the building for renovation and delivered no mail for over a week. Packages are not being delivered because there's no one there to get them. Numerous phone calls to no avail. No call backs. No customer service. A real nightmare. read more

Used them to store some stuff for a couple months before we moved. Can I just say how much I love the staff!? So friendly, so helpful. We got to use the moving truck for free on move in day which was so nice. Move out Day was quick and painless. (Just make sure to give notice so you don't get charged for an extra month). Easy access in and out. We had our own renters insurance on the unit, but nothing happened to our stuff. Recommended them to friends! read more

The facility itself is clean and good priced. Management on the other hand well the manager needs to go. She is rude, argumentative and clearly doesn't care about happy customers. They also need to hire a new security company considering when a units alarm goes off they do not respond, contact the customer who unit it is to see if it is false alarm or not. The other lady at the front whom mostly works weekends is very nice and I will only go in to pay my payment on the weekend when she is there so that I don't have to deal with the attitude of the manager. If that means my payment is late I will pay the late fee just to avoid contact with the manager. read more

I love this place. I was there for 11 years. I am a professional counselor who needed to store medical records. This was safe and secure. Sue had many things she did that made this storage unit a very good place for us. The security codes are changed often and this made it extra secure. Sometimes it was a challenge to remember things, but I understand that it is better to be safe than sorry. read more

I had my things in storage for about a month and a half and just moved them out to find boxes filled with mice poop. My clothes had holes dug/chewed through them with nests in them. We had absolutely NO food in the storage unit and our boxes were taped shut. Additionally, when moving into the unit, the lady at the front office was extremely rude to us on several occasions. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place until thy get the mice under control. read more

Been a customer for 5 years. Have never had a problem, with either their mailbox service that I use. ( I could have amazon delivered and not worry about thieves). Or Their Storage units. The managers, have always made sure their facilities are secure and safe. Any concerns of policies or fees are clearly stated when you rent from them. If anyone were to be onsite after hours, the alarm will go off and a third party company is alerted. Police response is 5 min or less. The place is secure, well maintained, and is BS is not going on with any customer on site. All of the staff are professional and make sure they get it right the first time. When you rent here, you know they are a good company, and they are going to keep your treasures safe. read more

We have rented a unit due entirely to the proximity of the facility to our house. I have not ever had what would be considered a good experience from a customer sense and recently I haven't even been experiencing mere convenience. The woman in the office always seems to be bothered or irritated whenever I have need to talk to her including accepting payments and purchasing storage boxes. Recently our unit and I assume others were burglarized at least twice finding new damage to interior walls and evidence of invasion on two separate occasions. We were advised our unit was burglarized the first time by thieves coming in through an exterior wall and the wall of an adjacent unit stealing collectibles and electronics. But when I reported the incident, she argued that no one had accessed the units adjacent to ours and that it was not possible to have been broken into with out their knowledge. Then during the two weeks it took for them to get movers to put our items in a new unit we found evidence of a second burglary losing ever more items and finding damage to a third unit. Now since those incidents our gate/alarm code hasn't been updated or stopped working so we are unable access to the facility to remove our items except during office hours, i am disgusted and we are looking at other options. read more

My review is somewhere between "Eek! Methinks not" and "meh. I've experienced better." Mary, the woman I signed up with, is a doll: super helpful and always accommodating. Sue, the manager, is an abrasive person and I dread having to interact with her. Unfortunately, Sue is the one I have had to speak with on the most occasions. Her attitude is so foul that I am itching to move my things to another storage unit facility, but I can't because it would cost too much at this point. Sue tried to charge me for setting off the alarm when it was not me who set it off, and she screams at me every time I call because the number posted on most websites is a number "only for new customers". But when I call the regular number, she's always too busy with new customers to talk to me. The only time I ever call is to pay my damn bill. read more
