It was an upright Baldwin piano. Most folks I got a hold of couldn't fit me into their schedule or were 50% more expensive than these movers. The move was across wood floors down two small steps, then into my home which had one small step and wood floors. They worked well together to prep the piano for the transition out of the house, to the truck, and into the next house. They handled everything smoothly and cooperatively. The whole move was complete within an hour from start to finish (it was a 6mile drive from Mill Creek to Bothell). I was very grateful for their service and customer service. The minor room for improvements: 1) They had set out for the job without my phone number on hand for some reason and I had to call to verify. They did have the address, but were waiting to connect with me. 2) I gave them the move-to address and though they knew the general area, they may not have used GPS or a map because they had turned off on a wrong street which prompted another call on my part. I'm not 100% certain of why these issues occurred, but I was somewhat surprised. Otherwise, I would recommend them, especially for small moves like mine. And if they show up with their moving pick-up truck don't be put out because they moved the piano just fine in it.

I spent countless hours organizing my storage space and building shelving. I followed all of the rules, and yet just weeks before my price increase, management threatened to kick me out for "being there too much during business hours." Very bizarre. Great location. Nice facility. But my plans to rent long-term from this company certainly changed. I waited almost a year to post this review for fear of retribution, but I have long since severed my relationship with this company. I would not do business here again.

They're hard workers they move quickly, and they have never broke anything! Most movers I get really nervous because something is always going to get broken, but I don't have any worry at all if these guys. So much so I don't feel the need to buy extra protection or anything. They take really good care and wrap everything that is needed. One thing I was nervous about this time is it was the first time Dominic wasnt there, but this time the movers were just as good if not better than last time. It was an 8 hour move going from 3500 sq ft in lake Stevens, then stopped by a storage unit, then moved into to a 1,300 sq ft apartment in Southlake union. Overall it was around $1750 after tax and then I tipped them on top (but did it because I wanted to, I didn't feel any kind of pressure to do so). In my opinion that's a really good price for 8 hours of moving. Anyway, I told them I'm hoping this is the last time, mainly because I dont wanna move not because of them or anything. I had to everything they did in the packing area and I was too sick to go up to the actual unit that they stored my belongings in. They made it sound like there was barely enough space in that unit and I just was able to get up there this week after a year and check it out and I did not understand their packing or rather logic. three rows of boxes that went up to the ceiling and then a huge gap on the left side with a sturdy chair they could've put boxes on at a decent height where I could get at them. Everything was stored haphazardly. What I would say is that they should apprentice a more reputable mover for another four years and learn how it's done correctly they're way too young and inexperienced. The total way way way too expensive for what I needed to have done.

I recently leased a 5x5 storage unit at this facility. However, I never moved any items in to the…read moreunit because of my poor experience upon move-in, and I cancelled my lease before the first month was up. I requested a refund of my rent and move-in fees, but was not granted one. Upon arriving at the storage facility on my move-in day, I followed the directions I was sent in an email from Secure Space and attempted to unlock the gate using the provided gate code. The code did not work. I went to the manager's office for assistance and after a few minutes he was able to get me logged in to the online system, which I was for some reason not fully processed in yet, despite signing a lease and paying the full balance the day before. I proceeded through the gate, which now worked with the code, and went to my assigned unit. Upon driving around the facility, I noticed many piles of items and what appeared to be garbage left around. I found my unit, which was down several hallways. The outside door leading to the hallways was unlocked. The directions stated that I should find a combination lock on the door to my unit, and use the code provided to open it. However, rather than finding a combination lock on the door to my unit, there were two blue locks requiring a key. I returned back to the manager's office again to troubleshoot the lock problem, only to find him gone and a sign on the door saying he would return at 5:00, even though it was after 5:00 at that point. I called the number listed on the office door and was directed to a woman who worked for Secure Space. I explained the situation regarding the locks and my inability to enter my unit. She expressed concern that the manager was not in the office and said she would try to contact him. She was unable to get a hold of him and told me to "wait outside the office for 15-20 minutes to see if he'd show up". She said she would then call me back to follow up. I waited outside the office for 25 minutes without seeing anyone. At that point, I decided to drive back to my unit to see if perhaps the manager was there or busy working somewhere else on the property. I could not find him. I parked outside my unit and called the number back that I had previously talked to, and this time was connected with a male. I explained the situation again. He stated that he was the manager and that he left a sign on the office door saying he'd return at 5:30, hence his absence. This was not true-the sign said 5:00. He was unapologetic about the situation and seemed frustrated with me. However, he said he would run down to my unit to help me troubleshoot the locks. I waited outside my unit for another 15 minutes. Still the manager did not show up. Finally, I called again. He said he was on his way. A couple minutes later, I saw him coming around the corner towards the entrance to my unit. Again, there was no apology on his part for the inconvenience. Together we walked to the unit where I showed him the two locks on the door. He said that he had to go get a tool and physically cut the locks off of the door. He left again and came back with a large set of cutters and then proceeded to cut off both locks. Upon opening my unit, the manager looked inside and stated that the unit hadn't been swept out and that he'd be back with a broom. I waited for him to retrieve it and looked inside to find the floor of the unit littered with debris and a pile of what appeared to be dried excrement in the corner of the unit. A few minutes later, the manager returned with a broom and a large shovel. He attempted to pick up the dried excrement off the floor with the shovel, but a stain was still left. He stated that he'd refund the price of my lock for the inconvenience (this never happened). Then, he left me to move in. Unfortunately, at that point it had been over an hour since I had arrived at the facility and I felt neither safe nor taken care of. I did not want to move any of my items into a dirty unit where there had just been excrement on the floor. I left and had a car full of items that I was unable to store. I wrote a thorough e-mail detailing my experience to Secure Space customer service, and never heard back. Finally, I simply cancelled my lease because I didn't want to be charged for another month at a unit I was not using. I was never refunded the price of the lock, as the manager had promised, nor was there any response to my concerns. Overall, my experience with Secure Space Lynnwood could not have been worse. I would not feel safe storing my belongings at their facility, no matter how low the price.

I stored with this family uber Papa Lockers DBA years ago for many years and i honestly can tell you this: they literally saved me time an time and time again. Many times my stuff could have been auctioned but instead they worked with me they helped me figure out a plan and get back on track they locked me out when i really feel behind but they never sold my stuff and they could have. I was honest with them about every single up and down with my health and lay off. Was truthful and they did more than they ever needed to help me not loose the last remaining part of my normal life before all of the bad began that made it hard to keep up on my bill . Eventually I was able to get my bill right and move my things out and I hope I never forget . They're kindness gave me so much more than I can explain in just a Yelp . I have never since met such a kind and caring person in business. I owe them so much keeping my stuff truly safe and remaining mine. They saved me little bits at a time in a way that continuously keeps on from their faith shown *not just in myself, but towards the good that they manage to spot inside all people! During 4 years of renting with a small storage facility, Chain Lake Storage, in Monroe, WA, my rental rate was only increased 2 x's at a fair, reasonable amount. The staff there were very accessible and super great people to work with. Glacier West advertises a lower rate on line to lure customers in then seems to employ a bait and switch scam, it appears to me, to up rates months later. I think 1 year or more to increase rates 5% max is fair and reasonable to deal with inflation. Not 10.9% 6 months into leasing.
