I have had my stuff in storage for over a year. I came to check on it in February and one if the storage workers was near by I showed her the rat feces. All over my stuff. She said maybe we can move you or you can claim on insurance. Well I didn't get the insurance not realizing that these storage units are FULLY saturated with Rats. They should tell you when you rent there are rats but they don't. Now I have a place to move (I'm a travel nurse) and 75% of my stuff has urine, feces or is chewed up. And they said. This is the worst storage place ever ! My girlfriend got behind on her unit and was told to pay 285. And she could get her stuff out of unit. She paid the full amount and then was told she could not get her belongings. It had her dogs ashes and lots of important paper work and was not allowed to even get that stuff. Also we were there one time and the police were there and I talked to them and they told me that because there is very few cameras the place in broken into weekly and there is also a major rat problem. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. Rented there for over a year, and had no issues until last month when we came to drop off stuff and saw that rats have gotten into our things. Our items were chewed through and droppings everywhere. We reported it to customer service and they handled things very unprofessionally and even said that as long as we had no food that the rats wouldn't come back again. They didn't seem like they were going to do anything. Today we moved out and learned that we had to throw away about 25% of our things, including sentimental items like picture books and keepsakes. Even though they do offer and have insurance that will reimburse you, some things are not replaceable. It definitely looked like rats came and gone through multiple times. We never were informed about any rat activity or about traps being put up. Gross! Overall this storage unit is rat infested, always raises the price every 3 months, and smells like crap every time we enter the units. Doesn't offer any leasing contracts, is only month to month. There are so many other better priced, cleaner, and friendlier storage units/companies out there. read more

If I could give negative 5 stars I would. Went to help a friend unload his U-Haul into his new storage unit and beat him there. Not knowing they close at 9pm they arrived at about 9:10 and realized they can't get the U-Haul in and I can't get out. So we called the support number on the keypad to try and let me out and try again tomorrow but they said I need to email them a photo of my licenses plate since it is past closing time which I did. About 20 minutes later the gate still wasn't open yet and I see two employees staring at me from a distance and when I explained what happened and asked them for help their only response was to very rudely tell me to get off the property now with the gate still closed and immediately proceeded to call the police on me. When the officers arrived they seemed very confused and ran my id and ultimately made them let me out manually like they could have almost an hour prior. Do not rent from them! I paid for vehicle storage place for a few months in advance (big mistake). I did not need the space as long as I thought and wanted to vacate a month early and get a refund for the month I no longer needed. The "manager" told me "unfortunately since you weren't out yesterday (last day of the month), you don't get a refund. In other words, "We got your money sucker, too bad!". I've also rented spaces with Premier Storage in Everett, they are reasonable, go there instead! Don't give Public Storage a dime. Update, I took my vehicle out of their lot to move some things, and today (3/11/24) I get a phone call telling me that they are going to "vacate" my paid-for parking space. Wrong, I called them back and stated that I am keeping the space until 3/31/24, which is how long it's paid for. I don't care if it's empty, I paid for it, and I'm keeping it till the end of the month. That's some nerve, refusing to refund my pre-paid month as noted above, now trying to double-dip and rent it to someone else on my dime. I might throw this past some legal friends of mine and see what they think. Pretty shady! It will be interesting to go there in a few days and see if they put someone else in my spot. read more

This storage company is a joke. They gave me their special to get me in and then year after year they raise their rates, one year they raised it twice. I started out paying $179 a month and now I'm paying $258 a month. I had to move to Colorado to help with my family and now can't afford to return to Washington to retrieve my belongings. But do you think they could help me out by not continuing to raise my rent? The district manager said they would continue to raise it to keep up with market rates. Don't rent here unless it's short term. Other storage unit companies do not raise rates as much as these guys and not nearly as often. read more

I reserved online, I got a confirmation call shortly after and was told my first payment would be $76 dollars after fees and lock. I told them over the phone what I needed to store and was assured everything would be great. When I arrived to move in I was disappointed because the unit I was assigned only had a standard sized door, not big enough to all fit my things through. I decided to rent anyway. When it was time to pay I was told since it was the middle of the month I wouldn't get my 'special' until next month and that I had to purchase their insurance which would be added monthy. My total was more than $30 over what I was told intially. Accessing entry was inconvenient as well, you have to get out of your vehicle to punch in an extremely long, random gate code they give you. I've rented with other storage companies and they've always had drive up gate access and self chosen codes. I do not plan on staying here. The staff is nice, but it doesnt make up for any other flaws. read more

These people are a joke. My mother passed away and while I understand that they have a business to run. My moms 76$ payment isnt going to hurt there muti million dollar business. After having buried our mom we were broke and they werent even willing to come down on the late charges. Since she passed after the due date of rent. I would never reccomed these selfish people to even my enemy. And to top it all off they contacted us about all the charges one day before the fees doubled. And in order to get her things we had to have a notary sign an affidavit. Thereby forcing us too pay two months with late fees on one month and to cut the lock off. I reserved a storage unit online and got a call confirming the move-in date before I could even finish submitting the information. I was going to be a little late for the move-in date so I called and left a message saying so. Only took a couple minutes before I got an email saying my move-in date was moved an hour ahead. They're really on top of their customer service. When I arrived, my phone had died and I needed to contact my brother because he went to the wrong storage unit. The property manager called up the other storage unit and had someone come out to tell my brother where to go lol. She also let me charge my phone and use their phone to call my dad, as I needed him to transfer money to pay for the unit. Staff was overal very friendly and helpful, giving me tips on unlocking the gate, navigating the property, and even letting me know the isles we're being used so it'd be better to go around in order to get my big moving truck out. Or if the property manager cut it off I'm very very upset and I called the cops they said just wait to talk to the manager in the morning i called the stealth monitoring number spoke to someone they chuckled a little that pissed me off even more after I told them what happened!? Like really? He said I had to wait to talk to someone and they would contact them for real? I don't pay rent money on top of insurance to have my shit toyed with!! What's the point? I don't recommend this place to anyone it doesn't matter if it's close to you or a convenience not worth it I'm not rich but the things I have in there mean a lot to me and have value to me.
