I'm not sure if it's still the same owners as it was 15 years ago or if it's really still called…read morePapa lockers . However when looking at the pictures I happily noticed a familiar ever-so kind family of faces in front of the gates with the banner in the background saying Papa's lockers like i remembered it before. If it is still the same owner / managers of the once named Papa Lockers as before, & if still the "Ma & Pa" of which you can see pictured out in front of a gate with the pups and the name banner behind them)- well then, i can assure you fully that you'll never find a better place to do buisness! Your stuff will be safe and youll find comfort in knowing this from day one! I stored with this family uber Papa Lockers DBA years ago for many years and i honestly can tell you this: they literally saved me time an time and time again. Many times my stuff could have been auctioned but instead they worked with me they helped me figure out a plan and get back on track they locked me out when i really feel behind but they never sold my stuff and they could have. I was honest with them about every single up and down with my health and lay off. Was truthful and they did more than they ever needed to help me not loose the last remaining part of my normal life before all of the bad began that made it hard to keep up on my bill . Eventually I was able to get my bill right and move my things out and I hope I never forget . They're kindness gave me so much more than I can explain in just a Yelp . I have never since met such a kind and caring person in business. I owe them so much keeping my stuff truly safe and remaining mine. They saved me little bits at a time in a way that continuously keeps on from their faith shown *not just in myself, but towards the good that they manage to spot inside all people! I hope one day they read this and hear me say thank you for all that you did for me for all the times you kept my items safe kept my bill low let me make my payments late and tried to help me so that I didn't lose my stuff with ample warnings . To me that's the best place to keep something that you love and cherish somewhere where they cherish it just as much for you

After only 6 to 7 months renting a 10 x 25 unit, Glacier West increased my rental rate nearly 11%…read more I emailed them 3 days ago and have not received a response. During 4 years of renting with a small storage facility, Chain Lake Storage, in Monroe, WA, my rental rate was only increased 2 x's at a fair, reasonable amount. The staff there were very accessible and super great people to work with. Glacier West advertises a lower rate on line to lure customers in then seems to employ a bait and switch scam, it appears to me, to up rates months later. I think 1 year or more to increase rates 5% max is fair and reasonable to deal with inflation. Not 10.9% 6 months into leasing.

I…read morestarted renting from them in October and when January 29th came around and they jacked my rent up by 25% i had been there like 3-4 months tops. this year i got another notice on jan 29th (its automated so they just will jack you up like clock work) for yet another 20%. Trust me there are plenty of other storage places around that won't be playing with your money every year. this is the automated letter they send you - We are contacting you to communicate an adjustment in the monthly rental rate for unit 1234 at Anthem Self Storage. We do not take adjusting your rental rate lightly and understand cost increases impact you. We want you to know that this is not a reflection of your tenancy but of several other factors. When we make rental rate adjustments we consider rising facility costs, facility maintenance needs, facility improvements and current rental market conditions among many other factors. With all this in mind, effective with your rent due on 3/1/2026, your new monthly storage rent will be (20% higher for no apparent reason) This increase only effects your rental rate. It does not change any insurance or billing services that may be on your account. These will remain the same. We would like to thank you for choosing Anthem Self Storage as your storage provider. We greatly value your business. If you have any questions or concerns, we are here for you, please do not hesitate to contact us. so yeah- TLDR - they have an automated system that jacks your rent up automatically on Jan 29th by aprox 20% if you're cool with starting off at $150 then having them jack you up to 250$ with in 2 years for a 10x10 than this is your spot! ---- --- Steve with all due respect, if its not automated than why do you send the exact same form letter on the exact same date every year for a set percentage increase... I actually called in after the first increase because i hadn't even been there 4 months yet and your employee told me its automatic every year. no need to lie on yelp dude makes you look even worse, my question now is are you going to make me stay another month or can i leave right now because 250$ for a 10x10 is outrageous. next door they have a starter rate for 66$ for a 10 by 10 with a rate of 130$ you are selling the same unit im currently in right now for 150$ on your own website!!! You're just jacking me up for no reason at all, and you're not even remotely competitive. 150$ to $250 with in 16 months... what!?

It was an upright Baldwin piano. Most folks I got a hold of couldn't fit me into their schedule or were 50% more expensive than these movers. The move was across wood floors down two small steps, then into my home which had one small step and wood floors. They worked well together to prep the piano for the transition out of the house, to the truck, and into the next house. They handled everything smoothly and cooperatively. The whole move was complete within an hour from start to finish (it was a 6mile drive from Mill Creek to Bothell). I was very grateful for their service and customer service. The minor room for improvements: 1) They had set out for the job without my phone number on hand for some reason and I had to call to verify. They did have the address, but were waiting to connect with me. 2) I gave them the move-to address and though they knew the general area, they may not have used GPS or a map because they had turned off on a wrong street which prompted another call on my part. I'm not 100% certain of why these issues occurred, but I was somewhat surprised. Otherwise, I would recommend them, especially for small moves like mine. And if they show up with their moving pick-up truck don't be put out because they moved the piano just fine in it.

When she came to our house we went over all of the details, I gave her specific instructions and she agreed to all of it. Well when her 3 hrs we're up I noticed everything we discussed was not done.. she didn't label anything (even tho she said she would) she didn't come with any organization tools I.e. containers etc. She took items out of a few boxes and on the counter and put things away but the organization wasn't there, it wasn't neat and precise, some places she put things didn't make sense, she said she liked to work alone so she can focus on the tasks at hand, which I thought was great but she talked to my husband a lot...now we have to re-do what she did. We did not get the quality work a "professional organizer" should give and for the money we paid and the agreement we had, it def feels like we were punked or something. Very odd. Hire someone who has more experience and who is more professional and thorough. If you want someone who can help unpack then she would be good if you want someone to organize I do not recommend.

Very minor damage to moved items and the home (dent in the drywall a couple places). It was less damage than we expected. The only thing missing was the fact during the initial phone call/quote the person on the other line noted they'd use jam and corner protectors. Those weren't used. The 4 guys and 2 trucks were professional and courteous. We'd hire them again if we needed to move.

I am writing this to share my experience and warn future customers about how this company handles…read moredamages and accountability. I hired A Perfect Mover to handle my move into a brand-new home. Three days before the move, brand-new carpeting was installed. During the move, their team caused visible damage to multiple carpeted areas, which I brought to their attention immediately. The owner, Shane acknowledged it and asked me to send carpet cleaning information so they could cover the cost. I scheduled a professional carpet cleaner and informed Shawn when they arrived. Only at that point--two months after the move was completed and fully paid for $10,824 ... ( we are a family of 4 ) Shane suddenly claimed I had a "past due balance" for junk removal labor. This was never mentioned during or after the move, nor on any invoice. It appears to have been brought up only when it came time to pay for the damage they caused. This is especially odd because I had already settled my bill with them totaling $10,824 ...so wouldn't that extra charge be brought up at the time of processing payment.???? Yeah... you'd think so. Despite this surprise accusation, I still attempted to be reasonable and offered to pay the carpet cleaner upfront while allowing him to reimburse the remaining balance (even factoring in the amount he claimed I "owed," which I dispute). Instead of resolving the matter professionally, Shane became defensive, accused me of "threatening a bad review," minimized the damage to my brand-new carpet, and refused to take responsibility. He then said everything would now be pushed through a "claims process," effectively declining to resolve it directly. To be clear: * The job was paid in full the day of the move. * No past due charges were ever mentioned until reimbursement for damages was requested. * The carpets were new and undamaged, and no effort was made by the company to repair or mitigate. * My review is not a threat--it is a reflection of how this company treats customers after being paid. I support small businesses, but integrity matters. A company that damages a customer's home and then invents retroactive charges to avoid accountability is not acting in good faith. I would strongly urge anyone considering this company to proceed with caution
