The "senior level property manager" Lori is the absolute worse she treats people like sh!t consistently, you can't call and ask questions without her cutting you off. Terrible property manager. Lack of customer service training. She should not be working in the front office, especially when dealing with customers. Do not get a unit with an outside vent, as dust can enter the unit during a wind storm. I complained about this and wanted to move to a different unit, but was denied as they don't allow moving to other units. This is a crappy policy and they charge so much - $285 for a 10x10. Public storage is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They will lock you out without warning for the most ridiculous reasons. They raise your rent every 3 months without any notice. The lady in the office is horrible. She is power hungry. She is also a liar. They will discriminate against you for being disabled. They also lock the bathrooms. I've rented at 2 other Public Storage facilities over the years and this one is by far the absolute worst. They also charge junk fees. I have hired an attorney. The staff is horrible! It's the manager that is always there that literally has not developed any customer service skills. If you want to be gaslighted every 3 months for a price increase without any form of notification, then this is probably the place for you. I started at $190, they attempted to increase the price to almost $400 in less than a year. Awful service, no communication in rental increases, only DAY OF. If you call to complain about the rental increase, they push you to their voicemail, with only an SMS follow-up. No forms of communication regarding failed payments, but instead jacked up extra pricing. Not worth the money here. The entire building smells of burnt rubber and elevators constantly make you sick from the smell. Do yourself a favor and look at other storage spots. Quick Update: If you try to leave, they will upcharge you. They'll also refuse a legal refund and credit which you are owed. This goes against their refund policy. read more

The security measures in which they take to not only protect the facility, but your property as well is amazing. The staff is very friendly and professional willing to go over and beyond for you. Don't waste your time here. Rent was increased double in almost three years from $90 to $128 to $185 and was told not even a couple days before. I called and let them know I've been here for a while and instead of getting the rate on site it was doubled, they decided to let me keep my price for three months. Avoid at all cost this location! Our unit was broken into add we lost over a 1000.00 of our property. Insurance company drags its feet on settling. If this happens to you take pictures of everything. We were notified on a Sunday afternoon that our lock was missing. We immediately drove the 17 miles to discover our unit had been gone through and several items were gone. Called the police filed a report. Opened a claim Monday morning with the insurance company and we still haven't settled. Went to give our notice to vacate and was asked why we were leaving...um..really??? Asked if the cameras had been reviewed and in the notes Ernesto stated " did not see any anything on the cameras" how can that be?? There are cameras everywhere!! How did the criminals get in? You need a code to access the gate, building and elevator!! Highly suspect that it's a insider. Large items were taken so it had to be a couple of people ransacking our property!! We moved out of the unit at the end of the month and to seal the deal they raise the rate 60.00 after 6 months of renting the unit. read more

I rented a unit only 5 months ago and they sent an email saying that they are increasing the rent. That same unit today has an increase of 75%! For existing "loyal" customers it is only increasing 28%...! And, they say, since it is month to month they can increase anytime. The excuse was, the company didn't know what the operational cost would be, we don't have many units available and neither does the area, cost of competitive units are going up too, but look at it this way the same unit for a new customer would be much higher, 75%! Perfect way to screw people, once they have your things and know there is limited options anywhere in Southern California... Well, if it is legal or not, it is definitely a very poor way to treat customers. Imagine any other business increasing rents by 28%, and saying they have the right to do it month by month. read more

storage center is spacious with state of the art technology for check in/out purposes which makes it nice for strangers not being allowed in , but the older janitor lady cleaning around 1pm tuesday was blocking the entrance with equipment and was disrupting the customers work , then she proceeded to do the same thing on the other side. read more

I submitted my move out notice in March to vacat april5th, the manager said they dont prorate rent I would have to pay the full month rent for even although I'm vacating April 5th,2024.So I made my vacate date April 30th,2024 and padi the full month. I moved out April 30th, 2024, I called the manager to inform her ealirt that day that I will be out of the storage.It's now June 3rd, 2024 I revieved a email stating I am being charged May and June rent plus a lien fee. I called today after reciving this email to inform them again that I moved out April 30th. She asked me if I left the lock on the storage and I said yes, I purchased the lock from them so I thought I was supposew to leave the lock. She said well we will continue to charge you until the lock is removed, we cant remove the lock. I informed the lady that I am out of state and will not be able to remove the lock and I'm sure they have there ways to remove the lock. She continued to say well you will continue to be charged, I asked her for the corporate number and she said they dont have a corporate number, which is is a lie. I have proof that I moved out, i have voice recordings, photos, and time stamps. And I'm so glad I did get this documentation on my vacate day otherwise I wouldnt be able to fight these charges. But I'm going to google the cororape information and speak witht he higher ups and have these charges removed. Got a nice sized space at $129 per month, guess if it's too good to be true, it is. Got my space in January of 2023, just got a notice on April 27th. FOUR months later and they are raising my rent to $177 (40% WOW crooks) stating the price of real estate has gone up, didn't know your already paid for property mortgage somehow went up. WHAT A JOKE. Don't rent here if you value your safety. Phone number after hours states gates will open, but nope nothing. God forbid your alone and don't want or can't get out of your car your screwed. All phone numbers lead back to exact deceptive recording of after hours message and process to put in phone number and drivers license details and than your told gate is opening. NOPE NOPE AND NOPE your supposed to know by osmosis that you need to get out of your car and punch in your code in the pin pad. When you call during hours you are verbally assaulted by staff who tell you that you will written up like a child. Well if I was attacked on your premises after hours and had to get out of my car since gate doesn't open as it states on phone Public storage would have a liability issue. Also customer service 101 training would be nice maybe even basic courtesy skills for staff, since instead of a ma'am I apologize if our phone number seems deceptive and you really need to be psychic and know that you have to push the actual pin pad ( no mention of this while your on phone with after hours access). You just get told they will document that your on property after hours as a violation, it's almost laughable if it wasn't so sad. Eastvale really got a lemon with this business and I'm sure that space could have been put to better use. No sign anywhere tells you anything other than to call the deceptive phone number or see the useless manager. A little forgiveness goes a long way. I have used Public Storage for different projects for many years. Some facilities are better than others. I was really excited about being able to find a brand new facility near by. I was actually proud of myself for clearing out my unit when I was done this time. However I was unable to reach them the day I finished because the office was closed. I tried to close my account online but I couldn't figure out how to do it. I removed my lock from the unit and called to let them know that I was closing my account but I was unable to reach anyone and had to leave a voicemail message. I was out of the unit on the first of the month and didn't take my lock off til the second. By the time they called me back it was the fourth. They said I would have to pay another $200 for the rest of the month. and that my rent was now overdue! I tried to explain that I had been out of the unit already, but they just reminded me of the contract. So I payed $200 for the entire month and there has been nothing in it since the month began. It would be nice if big companies like this could be a bit more forgiving on the policy. I was pleased with Public Storage until now. I was Pleased when I found a Public Storage in Massachusetts to where I just moved from California. But I'm gonna bypass it and look for a smaller company with a personal touch. For me, this is a big blemish on the face of this company because I thought they cared about customers. The best companies still listen to their customers and know how to maintain an excellent reputation by understanding that customers are human, needing forgiveness from time to time. That's how I run my business. I give my customers the benefit of the doubt. We came here because of the price. But it's not convenient. The drive way is small people park on the driveway, and you can't exit. When you get inside there's only 2-3 carts to put your stuff, and some people grab two. There's no one on the premises if you have question or concerns. Readers, take note of the level of bad reviews for this location. Here's another one too. Where to even start!?!! I guess I should start with what's good and get that over with. It won't take long. The facility is clean and new and the doors on the units work smoothly. Ok, here's the bad: 1. Like other reviews have said, the people who work there are a bit rude. I've dealt with two of them and they both give off an air of, "should I waste my time on you?" 2. The security is a joke. I mean that with all seriousness. It's not thought out well. It's not there to protect your items or protect you. It's only there for the company, and is designed just to be an annoyance. After you get into the gate, you have to keep putting in your code Over and Over for the inside doors AND the elevators. This makes no sense other than to be an inconvenience. It's completely ineffective. Once you are in the gate, that is really sensibly enough. Having to enter it at the doors over and over is ridiculous, because you can just wait for anyone to exit, and the doors open, so it's not really security at all. Just an annoyance making you type it in if you don't want to wait. And having to enter it again on elevators once you typed it in the door as a third folly is just an insult to the customer. 3. The force you to buy their insurance. 4. They force you to buy a special overpriced lock. 5. The restroom has the wrong kind of door lock on it, so if you are there after 5 pm and have to go, good luck. It might or might not be open. And even if you get in, you might not have toilet paper. 6. There are only SIX PARKING SPACES. Who dreamed this up? For such a large facility, it is insane to have so few spaces. Almost always they seem to be full and you have to wait for one when you need it. 7. They charge you for a full month every time, instead of being pro-rated by the day you rent. So they just about always get more money out of you than is fair. 8. Their automated phone service is pretty bad too. If you need help after hours, good luck. 9. They say it's air conditioned, but it's pretty warm sometimes. More like in the 80s, not in the 70 degree range. 10. The units have about Two Feet of open space at the top, so, talk about bad security.. people can look in or crawl into other units from the top! Anyway, super lame facility. She went out of her way to find me a unit to accommodate my needs and one on the first floor. She gave me great advice on when to come and how to park my 26' truck. Went to our appointment that was at 10am , as i walked in greeted Lori with a Good morning , no answer , so she started telling me about my appt she was ready to ring me up and I said oh wait I want to see the storage , she made a face like she was so bothered that I wanted to see it... and made a comment about how people just come in to pay for the storage And not see them ! And had the nerve to say I was early to my appointment!! I said wow ! I thought that would be good!! I wasn't late !! She was so rude !!! I asked for her manager she was happy to give me Fernandos number, come to find out I called and he didn't answer and the voicemail was full! I kept calling back and nothing ...I really wanted to get this storage but with a person like Lori working there i don't want it!
