So we have been using their storage unit for quite some time now. We don't go often. But pay on time automatically every month. One time our card for our auto payments was stolen and they made sure to call us and mail us a letter that they needed new card info. Conveniently our storage unit "and 5 others" were burglarized and they didn't call or attempt to reach us at all. They said they tried which was a lie. They said they didn't know what day it was burglarized. Just some time last month and that they had zero video footage of who it was. Strange because you need a personalized code to get In and out ??? They also said they burglars didn't take everything but that the remaining stuff was just tossed. Do not use them! This was probably an inside job. Of people that know we don't come to our unit frequently. read more

I've now been here 7 months and I am taking away 2 stars. The ppl here are AWESOME...BUT.... Upon moving out we have discovered mice, a lot of droppings (baby dropping too) and 2 dead inside my unit. There is fresh pee and I can only assume that I'm moving into my new home with mice coming with me. I see that they have placed traps OUTSIDE but none are inside the hallways or anyplace to be seen inside. I STRONGLY suggest that before you pull down your door that you put poison down on the inside of your unit OR mouse traps (but expect to come often to clean them out. This place is affordable and as I said nice ppl, but finding out how bad the mice are inside my unit I wish someone would have given me the advice I'm giving you. POISON! read more

She was the only one there and showed me the storage room before committing to any paperwork. The facilities were clean and seemed well maintained. We started chatting about how hard it is to find a rental house and she even gave me some pointers on some locations. This place used to be cool but months into it they started raising rent every 6 months. I'm now paying $330 a month! I recently had a baby and stored all my sons clothes, diapers and wipes in storage and mice and rats got into it and ate the wipes, got into the diaper bags and left urine and shit in the bags and all over my sons clothes. One employee told me they would cover it so I filed a claim snd sent in photos how they asked and didn't hear anything for two months. I called yesterday to see what's going on and got the number to the "back office" that handles everything. Got a call This morning from the team to let me know they can't help me with anything but she understands what I'm going through. I highly doubt it all my sons stuff was in there. She recommended me move out so they can clean it out but have no unit to accommodate my space. Where do I put my things?? Do not rent from this place , 1st of all they hit you with rent increases. 2nd they charge you insurance . 3rd they have rats . So I go to grab some of my stuff and found out that my stuff is destroyed by rats and they will not cover the expenses to replace my stuff . This is the best storage place ! Brand new!!Nice and clean!! From the storage units to the outside the inside and even the bathrooms. Even music! To get you motivated while your moving your stuff. Everything is energy efficient with no wasted electricity. That's how they're able to keep there prices low and reasonable. Customer service and management is excellent!! Everything is made easy and they are always willing to prorate you. For the last 6 months I've had the best experience ever. The only thing I recommend they do is have more flat carts and dollies and moving blankets available maybe some type of system if you damage or misplace them they charge your card on file or add to your monthly bill. She gave me zero issue helped me to get the correct size i ended up needing and even called someone to figure out how to make sure i still got the special i signed up for. She didnt need to do that i even told her i didnt mind i just needed to get my things in i was in a rush but she did it anyways and told me the good news as i was done and finishing signing all my paperwork. When I moved my belongings in, I thought I would have enough room for all my stuff but turns out I needed more room. Upon being frustrated with my lack of judgement, I went back into the office & Stephanie offered her assistance showing me larger units. She told me that she'd give me a ride in her golf cart so I didn't need to walk. We looked at several units until I found the storage unit right for me. Dollar Self Storage has met my needs for the last two and a half years. It is clean, easily-accessible, and secure. There have been instances where they have required an office visit to update paperwork they refuse to accept over the phone, which makes it inconvenient at times, and the rent has increased twice. It doesn't lend itself to showing appreciation for loyalty when rates are raised--just because they can doesn't necessarily mean they should. There are no customer loyalty incentives whatsoever. Most recently, my auto pay was disabled due to my credit card expiration date. I received an email to contact them but then they refused to remedy the situation over the phone. Stephanie, who had been courteous and helpful in prior experiences, was rude and unwilling to provide any accommodations while I was out of town trying to pay my bill and reactivate auto pay. She actually blocked a co-worker from taking my information, and he was apologetic for her actions. While I have been pleased with Dollar, I think it may be time to look for another storage company--one who values and appreciates customers who are trying to do the right thing. read more

went yesterday to give my Vacate notice and decided to give a review on my experience with this Dollar Storage on Limonite ave in Jurupa Valley, ca. several months back i was looking for a storage unit that was close to were i was living at the time and the only one that was close was the one on Etiwanda ave north of Limonite i went to look at it and did not like it the place was old and run down but i seen that they were building a new storge on Limonite in which turn out to be Dollar Storage but i had to put all of my stuff if a friends garage for about 2 months until they open for business and when i finally went to look at there facility i was impressed very NICE and CLEAN and the people there were very polite and personal for example i would always go in to pay my monthly payment in person but started to pay online for about 3 months straight then on the fourth month i was in the neighborhood so i went in to make my payment in person and the girl behind the counter says hello to me and says my name WOOW i was impressed that she remembered my name and the unit that i was in now that's costumer service and i wanted to thank them for a great experience and the personal attention to detail and a special thanks the the employee that remembered my last name and unit # "STEPHANIE" Thank you. read more
