The guy he king me in said it was on the direction of his GM and that it was their local branches decision to do so. I would have left had I not been on a tight schedule, so I was forced to buy something I did not want, nor had contracted for. This was a total bait and switch. I'd purchased them just in case for frames and ultimately didn't need them. Their policy, and I was assured this upon purchase in Houston, is that they accept returns with receipt if unused. The gentleman at the counter told me I was missing a tie, which I never received, and therefore he wouldn't accept it. Explaining that everything was as I'd bought it (you can tell when a box is used, come on now) he replied "how can I sell that?" The exchange was so argumentative and off-putting. Ok, I suppose it's more difficult to sell returned boxes (??) but that's the policy and it was not adhered to. I left the frame boxes in the giveaway bin - what does one do with those if not moving - for some lucky soul who I doubt could tell they'd sat in a truck for 24 hours. Whatever.

    Beware! My husband and I rented a large outdoor space to park our fifth wheel camper. We purchased…read moreone month ahead of time knowing that we just wanted to secure a spot. Two weeks into the second month and we were finally able to move our fifth wheel from the beach to this location. Upon arrival, there were so many vehicles parked all over the place and many, many double parked, that it we couldn't get our vehicle into our rented and paid for space!! . There was absolutely no way we could fit our unit in since they had allowed other customers to double park in one space sticking out into the common area where you would back your vehicle in to your spot. It was absolutely impossible for us to use our space. The property manager, Megan was very helpful and we managed to get out after trying for an hour to get our vehicle into the spot we had purchased. When we finally got out of the storage area we had nowhere to take our fifth wheel. We had traveled back from the beach with both our dog and our cat and they had been in the car for five hours! They completely left us in the lurch with nowhere to go! Megan understood that we would absolutely need to cancel our space since our fifth wheel would not fit. She also said that the general and/or district manager of the property was well aware that there were many vehicles parked all over and double parked, but because they paid more money, this practice was being allowed. When I asked for a refund of the whole month of November, I was told that no refund would be allowed, not even a partial refund would be given!!! This business is run terribly. The property is trashy, unkept and generally a mess and disorganized. They can't even bother to clear brush from behind each space or paint decent lines or numbers so you know where to park. This business is a disaster and I regret having dealt with them. I would absolutely go somewhere else if you can. Next stop, the Better Business Bureau! This disaster of a business needs to be reported and believe me I will do my best to make sure they know how angry we are.

They raised the price but can't maintain the facility. You can never get anyone on the phone unless you owe them money. People are always complaining about the lack of carts. The entry is disgusting. My things were put up for auction due to lack of payment and they changed the locks (understandably). Once the balance was paid and I went to move my things I realized the locks had been changed I was never given a new set of keys and when I called them about it and left several messages I never received a return call. I traveled over 500 miles to get my things was told someone wouldn't be able to meet me until the next day after having called for 3 days (to leave a message with the property manager) I ended up having to pay a locksmith out of pocket and realized someone had been watching me move on the cameras because the sent me a move out receipt when I never confirmed my move out. So you can watch me but you can't come open the door. You don't know what someone's situation is and what they may be putting in storage. Whether it's memories or they had to move from a home they loved unexpectedly or just overflow. I just wish people were more kind and this place lacks basic customer service and I would never EVER put anything I cared about here ever again.
