The rate for the exact same 10 x 10 outside access units to store a motorcycle was $96 a month less than the Public Storage location less than 1 mile away.

The storage mart employee called me after emailing me asking if I still needed the unit. I told him I didn't but assumed I lost my money (which was the most reasonable price in my area). He told me they could just vacate the unit and return my money even after I said to him that I was okay with them keeping the money since they did work on my behalf and I signed documents. I mean how often are businesses understanding and as helpful as Storage Mart is?! That made my day, thanks so much and I highly recommend this business!!

These include the back gate left unlocked and wide open as displayed in my photo. To make matters worse, the buildings are left unlocked 24/7, and many units have hollow core doors. So much t would be a small matter for someone to enter, put their fist through storage unit doors, and empty the place. As a former police officer, my advice is to keep the back gate locked at all times. Lock the buildings at night, and replace hollow core doors --including the one to the office -- with solid core. And while you're at it, a basic alarm system would be well worth the expense. If you did these things, your property would beat anything else in NVA hands down.

Ell was very helpful and have a thorough explanation of the rental process and she did it with a genuine smile that you could feel that she was happy to assist without any hesitation. I was able to get the units I needed in the time frame I was looking for. I have to say that it was the team work between Josh and Ell that made that happen. Josh assisted and was able to find the units that were becoming available. He and Ell made this process such a delight when I was expecting it to be somewhat stressful with the time frame I had. Not only was this experience a breath of fresh air, but it continued each time I was at the facility. The maintenance and care of the facility is just as nice. Each time I have made a trip to my unit I see all of the crew doing something around the facility and each time they make eye contact and greet you with a smile. Josh was painting on one occasion and stopped what he was doing to acknowledge me and say good morning. You do not get this kind of acknowledgment anywhere these days and when you do it's definitely recognized. Thank you Josh, Ell and the other extremely kind and helpful maintenance helper that all I can remember is he has been with them for 4 years . I didn't want to get his name wrong. My last move (575463) occurred on March 16th and the crew was terrific. We packed the van in Northern VA in the morning and got everything into my new home near Harrisonburg in the early afternoon, all while dodging raindrops and winds. I appreciate that they were willing to acknowledge that my experience did not reflect the level of service they expect from their crews and that they made an effort to make things right. The reimbursement does not come close to covering the significant damage and loss I experienced, but I do appreciate the gesture and their willingness to respond. My original experience with the move itself remains unchanged, but I wanted to update this review to be fair and to recognize the company for their response after I raised my concerns.
