The UHAUL online reservation system really needs some UX review / user testing. Does not work intuitively or follow user logic at all 2. I selected mobile check in for a time before the location opened but when I got there the website told me I had to wait for the location to open. Jammed up my plans. 3. The moment the location opened, there was a sign on the door saying the attendant stepped away with a phone number to call. The number was not answered. 4. When I returned the van the location was closed for lunch with no advance notice of that, and no drop box. I just left the van and left. In all, total lack of focus on customer experience.

People walk through the gate and the workers don't care when you tell them. We had rat poop all over our things when we finally when to pick them up. When we came to use our unit for the first time it wouldn't open and we had to get in there because we were moving. I called so many times, was hung up on and lied to. They finally wanted to transfer me to a different unit. But that required me to pay a $25 fee even though I didn't do anything wrong, the door wasn't opening. I got the run around again and again. Finally called another site's office manager just to talk to someone. They were able to meet me and showed me how to open it. This took all day. I showed up at the unit around 10a. I called called called, didn't get into our unit until 4:30p. The people who rent you units over the phone lie, do yourself a favor and double check the info. When I called the corporate number and told them about my horrible experience and that I wanted to cancel our account, she still made us pay for the whole month, had no sympathy for everything we went through and we were out $300. My work rents a unit here as well and we will be cancelling our business account this month. Horrible place, horrible management and horrible customer service.

I then placed a call to schedule the delivery which was answered by a LIVE person who had just seen my online request. He said "it sounds like you need the container ASAP so if you would like two of them delivered this afternoon we can do that and deliver the other two the following day". And they ACTUALLY followed through on their promise. They were kind, respectful, honest and prompt. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND UNITS located in Kent, WA.
