These people are crooks..Please do not trust the information shared by customer care executives. During my booking tenure, i had called customer support 3 times. Every time i asked if i iwll be charged on monthly basis or daily basis and everytime i was informed that i will be charged on daily basis. But as soon as completed my booking, i was charged for whole month and when talked to executive, they informed me that they have mentioned in their agreement that customer will be charged on monthly basis. They provide misinformation to customers and and do not do ethical business. Complete Liars.... read more

I've been renting there for 4+ years. They just keep going up and up and rent. My rent started at $60 and when I received at notice that they ere raising my rent to $231 I decided it was time to move on. Plus, they closed and locked their restrooms in 2020 due to covid. They have yet to reopen them. They keep theirs/c set high so it gets very uncomfortable in the storage area. read more

Price is very expensive only good for 1st year then they raise your rate well above going rate from other storage company.

I call 6 times no body answer Assign a unit in the 2nd floor I ask for change to the first floor The guys say I need wait 72 hours to see if I can changue. Incredible read more

the no-human kiosk experience was very smooth, I was able to get someone on the call to answer all my questions. the price is affordable for a 5x10 storage, and signup process quite straight forward. The insurance thing came as an additional overhead but there's really no way to waive it so not complaining. read more

Going to no on-site attendants or managers, and telephone computer menus only, ruined the appeal of Public Storage. They are the highest price of storage companies, and now with the worst service and amenities. If they give you an attractive quote, just know they specialize in the bait and switch. Once you are in there, your rate will quickly double. read more

I have been across the country and back and have used a number of storage facilities! The experience that I just had with Tracey at Public Storage is one for the books! I'm big on customer service and she moved the goal post with her excitement and desire to help! I appreciated the engagement and quality customer service read more

I have visited many storage places in the area, until I came to this location; I didn't need to look any further. I made an appointment online, got a great discount, and Tiffanee called me to confirm the appointment. We met up, she showed me the unit, and walked through the policies and procedures. I was pleasantly pleased and signed a contract with them. The place was well lit, clean, Tiffanee was knowledgeable and friendly, and the online special provided me a good deal for my storage. Additionally, I like that this location is almost out of the way and you would not know that it is back here unless you looked for it. Overall, a great experience for rental of a storage unit. The process was almost effortless and very efficient. read more

It was really very good experience with Public Storage near 9301 Spectrum Dr Austin. Tracey is very helpful . I like the below features 1)Security 2)Ease of use 3)Sustainability In feature also I'll definitely look for Public Storage only read more

BEWARE the "bait and switch". I rented a 10x20 unit on the 2nd floor last August (2022) for the "Online special" of "$1 first month and $183/month after". Well, after 3 months of autopay, they raised the rent to ~$250/month (that's ~$3000/year) for a small storage unit on the 2nd floor! I complained to the attendant and she was able to return my rates to the advertised $180/month....for 2 months.....) Now it's back to $250/month, and the new attendant asked for a discount that was immediately denied. I had to call the "800" number to beg for relief. The woman there was rude and unsympathetic. Said she would "end the call" if I used another "curse word"....I said "they raised the 'damn rates' again, and now it's $3000 a year". So I cancelled this ridiculous "storage" scam. They can find a new sucker to exploit, but not me. I'm building a shed... read more

Tracey was quick and helpful had me in and out in just a few minutes. The price and location can't be. Beat highly recommend this place

Everything from start to finish went smoothly. I set up a reservation online one evening and Susan promptly called me the next morning to set up a time for me to come by and get set up. When I arrived she was ready to go. Everything was explained well. After taking time to understand my needs she was able to present me with other possible options for future as well as supplies for my move. She made this an effortless experience! read more

I have been extremely happy with the climate controlled units, but especially the service. Susan is incredible. She delivers a level of patience and kindness rarely seen today. We are thankful for this and would recommend this location to anyone in the area - especially when they are running the first month for $1 promotion. We closed out one of the units and the closeout process was effortless and free from any hidden charges. My one piece of advice would be to check with your existing home insurance company to see if your existing coverage extends to storage units, because they require some level of insurance and you can save $12 a month by not signing up for their recommended provider. read more

I'm looking for storage for my travel trailer. Susan didn't have space at this facility here, but she referred me to a Round Rock storage site that does have an open space, saving me a ton of time. Thank you Susan! read more

This was my first experience with a storage unit and I was not disappointed. It's easy to access, courtesy carts are available, and move out was just as easy. 10/10 would choose them again if I needed to store anything. read more

Tracey was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service. The facility is very clean and well kept. There are carts there for you to use for easy moving. The process was quick and easy. read more

From the moment I submitted my request online, I received a call within 15 minutes. This was very convenient to schedule my time to come to the storage location. The on-site manager knew who I was when I walked in and treated me and my 7 year old daughter very nicely. We quickly saw the unit, signed everything online, and within 15 minutes we were already loading our stuff into the unit. It is exactly what I wanted! Simple, quick service! read more

Susan was great - even with paperwork mishaps, she was very polite, helpful, and honest. She also found a unit that better suited my needs than what I could see online at a cheaper cost. The facility is nice, air-conditioned, and feels very secure. I haven't rented out a storage unit before, but I'll most likely stay with Public Storage if they're all like this. read more

Tracey gave great costumer service and was very knowledgeable with the size I was needing. She have me a tour of the place and the facility was very cleaned. Not only that but the location was really close to my new location. read more

Tracey was great! Super helpful worked with us by finding the perfect storage unit! At the perfect price!

Susan was there to greet me every time I visited the storage unit. I appreciated what a close eye they keep on everyone coming and going, things forgotten or abandoned in the parking lot or hallways, and things like that. The facility is clean, climate controlled, and rodent free (so far as I saw, anyway). I would absolutely use them again! read more

Super clean and secure facility! The big plus is Susan- always helpful and eager to meet your needs and knows her stuff!

The storage facility itself is great, but the ownership and management is abysmal. My bill cycle has been 2nd to 1st every month. I was here for 18 months during a recent move, and they hiked the rent 4 times - from 60, to 65, to 75, to 80 and that was enough for me. Upon moving out on good terms I was met with an obnoxious lady saying I'll be hit for a full month of rent as I moved out the first day of the month, and there is no pro rating. I called corporate and the district manager pleading my logic of the billing being 2nd-1st and me thinking I timed it perfectly at month end. Regardless, I explained I was a good tenant for 18 months with them and this is a sure tactic to leave a sour taste in their customers' mouths and make them look elsewhere the next time they need to rent. I put multiple calls to different levels of management and all were as abrasive as the last.I would not recommend this Public Storage or any company wide after having dealt with their terrible customer service and management team. I will now have to dispute the charge with my bank and deal with more stress over this because they wanted to 'stick it to me.' read more

This place is great and very clean. Sean was quick and very knowledgeable while signing me up to rent a unit. When I was leaving and loading everything back up, Susan was extremely nice and helpful. I was out of there in no time. Overall great experience!! read more

Thanks Tracey! You rocked and public storage rocks! She was totally accommodating and helpful!

The folks at Public Storage are the best! We've been there on two separate occasions, when we needed to store things between moves. They are kind and helpful, and their prices were competitive. An A+ experience... I highly recommend them. read more

Susan is fantastic and accommodating. You would think that it was a family owned establishment.

Very happy with our storage experience at this location. Slowly merging two houses into a new third house, we needed three 10x20 units for a few months, and each time I had to go in to get an additional unit, Susan was very helpful in getting us set up. And then when we were finally able to start emptying out the units, Erika did a fantastic job wrapping up our contracts. I would not hesitate to use this location if I ever needed storage again, and, in fact, I might go out of my way to use it, simply due to the great customer service experience. read more

I have had this storage going on six months and I'm completely happy with it. Susan is a delight , very imformative, and patient. The storage is climate controlled and a 10×10 is affordable and big enough for my needs....5 stars! read more

Susan did a great job. I got the storage unit I wanted and the process went smoothly.

This public storage is Great! Ron made my 1st time experience with a storage unit fast, easy & simple. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to safely store their belongings in a gated facility. I got the 1st month for just $1 :) awesome! read more

Let me start by saying that I have been a renter at this facility for about 4 years. I needed to get an additional storage unit, so decided to go with the same location. It is easy to get into and the access hours are pretty good (I wish the gates were open a little later than 9 pm, but I can live with that). My process of reserving the new unit went very smoothly. Yesenia was great during the entire process. The one negative thing I can say is about the price. I figured that since I currently rent a space at this location, they would offer some sort of discount on the second space. Nope - I'm not even eligible for the promo of 1/2 off the first month's rent. (Come on - at least offer 10% off the second space.) I was disappointed about this and even thought of taking my business elsewhere. However, the convenience of having both units at the same location outweighed my disappointment. And if weren't for the wonderful customer service provided by Yesenia at the front desk, I may have gone somewhere else. read more

I've never rented a storage unit before, and renting at this Public Storage location on Spectrum (N Austin) was totally painless! VERY friendly staff - thank you so much, Tracy and Susan and Angela, for making it so easy to get setup. The units are in excellent condition, air conditioned, and relatively easy to get to with large elevators on two sides of the property (that I know of - there may be more, but I just noticed two large elevators). Anyway, just wanted to comment on the great service I received (I initially registered online, and IMMEDIATELY got a follow up call, in case I had questions, and to set up a date/time to make the initial visit. Very effecient system they have! The also had PLENTY of 'dollies' available, so that was nice, too! Thanks again! Sincerely, Bridget M. read more

Was overall very pleased about my experience with this business. The staff (Tracey, Angela, and Susan) were all very friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean and secure, the spaces are excellent. The price was also very good. My only complaints are that the required lock and the the required insurance felt like hidden fees. These are corporate things rather than local things. Otherwise my experience was very good. read more

Susan was very helpful as we closed out a smaller unit and rented a larger unit. She went above and beyond to get me info, how I could save the most and the best part, no hidden fees. Everything was explained in detail and upfront. Susan went out of her way to make sure we could have the easiest move possible. I highly recommend this storage place! It's also always clean and carts are always available no matter what time of day I go. read more

When my son recently moved home after graduating college, I needed a small storage unit for his stuff.
