Many stores used to have free shipping and free returns. Well, now days, many stores still have free shipping but no free returns. I had to pay $5 to get return labels to ship this dress back. In the big scheme of things, this was not too bad (some stores charge $15+ for returns.) I went to the UPS store with my QR return code and literally, in seconds my return was made. He also gave me a paper copy of my transaction. In addition, I had my left over taco bag in hand and he said I could use a trash can that was hidden underneath a counter. So, super nice of him given that I did not even asked for a trash can. Excellent experience at UPS...

It's a great convenient location, too. But I had an issue with them this morning that I have to share. Their website lets you create print orders to pick up in the store and I used it because I needed copies. They said the copies would be ready this morning, so I stopped by. The shop attendant told me their website doesn't work so my order was not only not ready but it was not even in process. He said I could email it but there is an additional fee to send it that way. Don't take orders online if you can't process them. The shop attendant was so unapologetic and literally walked away from me while I was still talking to him, trying to understand the situation. Don't call yourself a print shop or copy place either if you're not going to fulfill the service. Very disappointed.

He first expressed his sincere apologies for the experience I had, and then he tried to better understand the situation in detail. After learning what had actually happened, he acknowledged that this was not the kind of customer experience their company aims to provide. He was very proactive in stating that they would make things right. Today, Monday, I received a follow-up call from Nick. He showed a very positive and proactive attitude in trying to resolve the issue. Through our communication, we were able to reach an agreement. I thought I had a good company after all the researching I did. But Royal is no different. I first spoke with a woman named "Sunny" who promised me so many things. That my price wouldn't change, that when I added my washer/dryer and barstools the price would stay the same..then when the mover got to me, it was the complete opposite. My invoice went from $2035 to $4100. And I was moving 22 medium sized boxes, washer/dryer and 2 barstools. So a whole house would easily be $15000, do you see my point in how much I was price gouged? Sunny has a silver tongue. She sold me a dream. This industry preys on people becauase once they have your stuff loaded up, you're at their mercy. Royal is just like all the others. Their sales model is just different. They say they have their own trucks which is a lie. They'll send you photos to seal the deal but the person who came to my house was just some young boy driving a rented Enterprise truck.
