Sebastian & crew were awesome. They were extremely professional and efficient--they did the whole move in 4 hours, including taking apart and reassembling some difficult pieces of furniture. Based on our estimate we were expecting it to take at least 6 hours, and cost is largely based on how much time it takes, so they saved us hundreds of dollars by being so quick. Everything was pre-packed in rented plastic boxes and ready to go. Despite this, a 3-person crew took over 6 hours. For context: a year ago, 3 movers moved my entire 3-bedroom house (twice the size of this apartment) with an extra storage unit stop in under 4 hours. This crew milked the clock. One guy spent nearly an hour wrapping just four basic items (a chair, ottoman, table, and dresser). Items sat staged on the curb for two hours without being loaded. The pace was so slow that we had to start carrying items to the truck ourselves just to finish. Even the crew leader admitted to me that one of his guys was moving too slow, yet they billed me for every single minute. I have reached out multiple times by phone and email requesting a fair refund for 2 hours of wasted labor, and management is completely ghosting me. They were just finishing another job and were able to take on my requests on a short notice. Because I had a smaller job, they quoted me a flat rate with no minimum job requirement. We later decided to add a couple of mattresses and a sectional we needed to be picked up from a second address, which they were able to accommodate for a reasonable price.
