I booked them through their online site (20% discount wooo) and spoke with April for the most part. She was courteous and friendly and helped us through this transition. The crew (Chris and 1 other gentlemen) arrived within the scheduled window and were finished loading my stuff within an hour. Everything was strapped down correctly and the inventory sheet was amended to add some items I left out on the online questionnaire. Unloading the stuff was just as fast despite heavy rain and only a couple of our items got wet enough to need be dried in the dryer. Definitely a fair price and would use them again in a heartbeat. The owner, Tim Toomey, came out and assessed her move which was complicated, to say the least (a rent home and 3 storage units while her new home was being built in a country club area. We have been in an extreme drought for months - and then torrential rains started about 10 days before the move, with flooding the day before the move. We went forward with this 2 days of moving. These guys took such incredible care by securing each and every item in a way that nothing ever got the least bit of moisture on it. They used a system with 3 guys outside in the rain, 2 guys inside unloading in sock feet as to not track mud inside the owner's home. Despite the home not being 100% complete and there being other contractors all over the home and the movers having to dance all around them, they were cheerful throughout the whole experience. They interacted with my team of Organizers with so much respect. And what's more, he stuck to his original bid; he was spot on with his estimate of expected number of boxes and supplies for the job (where clients have paid 3 times more with other movers). He kept me updated on his status and he even drove up to Dallas late Thursday night to move me out of my place at 7am sharp. I was already SO impressed by his willingness to go ABOVE & BEYOND by driving in the night before. Once I arrived in Austin an hour or so after Tim, Tim was right around the corner to unload my belongings. They had extra boxes and supplies on hand for things I couldn't pack up myself. I had been the victim of a bait & switch mover and was forced to pay much much more than their not to exceed estimate. I was not allowed to talk to the owner. Horrible experience. No ghost owner, Seth is with you the entire move and working hard along with his crew. He even reminds them about proper body mechanics to keep them safe. They're reasonable in price and they work not only hard, but efficiently. They're pleasant, courteous, respectful, professional and at the same time, they are easy going. The guys get along and work very well together. They saved me from having to rent another storage unit thanks to their masterful storage unit packing skills. Items I thought might be an issue for them weren't. I kept waiting for a "but" or hesitation for one thing or scenario or another and there wasn't one. Not even for the rock wall in front of my old house, which other people had complained about. They didn't care if I worked right along side them. Whether you can afford them for an entire move or not doesn't matter, the level of professionalism and service is as high. They totally get budget concerns and will work within your budget. They work hourly, so set the hours and they will work within that. Seth is a straight shooter and doesn't mind questions, even repeated ones. Didn't matter how tired or stressed we were, these guys got it, didn't bat an eye and basically did all they could to make everything easier. The day of the move they said 6-7pm. Then they showed up at 8pm (which was our original time). We moved our entire day around to ensure things were packed by 5pm so we could make the long drive that night. Obviously didn't happen. My husband specifically told them to not park in front of our neighbors house or driveway. They parked in front of it anyways. When they came to shake my hand it was clear as day that they were high on drugs. Tony hopped in the drivers seat of our 26 foot moving truck and drove up and down our street going like 40mph almost side swiping both my car and my husbands. Trying to back it in our driveway. He got out and started screaming "shut the fuck up you fucking bitch. I've been doing this 25 years". Gwen yelled "oh shut up it's only been like 16". They got in a full blown fight in our driveway and down the street. Neither of them were professional or nice. I was honestly scared for our safety. This business needs to be stopped and they need to be fired. We asked them to leave our property immediately. My neighbors called the cops for them screaming out in the yards at 8pm! So embarrassing.
