I hired Seth and his crew of Mikes (not Steves as previously mentioned) to move my UT student from one apartment to another. The move was complicated due to a gap of a few days in leases. His stuff needed to be stored for those few days and being out of town, and my student taking summer classes, finding a storage space for just a couple of days was seeming impossible. After many phone calls to various moving and storage companies, I settled on Seth and BCSM. Seth arranged to personally pick up my son's belongings and see to it that everything was carefully wrapped and stored on his trailer and securely stored for the three days until it could be moved to the new apartment. Seth was up front about all included costs and explained everything clearly. Seth kept in touch with me by phone confirming the pick up and delivery dates, addresses, phone numbers, and followed up after they picked up initially and after the delivery was complete three days later. I was so impressed with Seth's professionalism and and attention to detail that I entered all of his information into my personal data base and will never call another moving company in Austin. We have used them on two different moves and each time I walk away impressed with their professionalism and skill. The first move was a multi-day, multi-city monster of a move. Seth and his team were there several days beforehand helping prep all of the items to be moved and made sure that everything was properly packed and protected. During the move Seth and his team were efficient, professional and upbeat. They treated our most precious belongings as their own. Seth and BCS absolutely saved me! I had movers cancel on me at the last minute. I called Seth on a Sunday that was a Holiday and they called me back quickly. I explained the situation- that I was not in Austin and needed a storage unit emptied and brought to San Antonio that day-. Seth had a previous client booked for the day and offered them a discount to be able to accomodate me as well. They were in constant communication updating me as to their whereabouts and the status of the move, and within four hours of talking to me on the phone they were pulling into my driveway. They then spent the next hour or so unloading, but they were so hilarious and polite that I could have had them over for dinner and not regretted it. Fast, professional, courteous, and most importantly they took care of my stuff from the half broken IKEA bookcase to the expensive glassware. I've moved five times in the last five years and hired movers every time. If I had known these guys were around five years ago I would have used them then and every time inbetween. I need to move and it was a short notice, At the last minute all my flip flop wearing friends that were getting paid in beer did not feel like helping me move. I came across BCS Moving and Seth put me at ease and that he would take care of moving all my household goods to the new home. He showed up promptly at 8am with his crew. They took apart all the furniture that was able to be taken apart. It was like a well oiled machine. In less than a couple of hours they had everything loaded and they were ready to go to the new home. It was a relief to know that they took every box to each corresponding room. They put all the furniture together and even helped me place new non-slip pads under the sofa legs and non scratching ones on chairs. The entire crew was professional friendly and fast. We have just completed our 7th move with Seth. He first moved us to our new home in Round Rock about 7 years ago. He also moved us into our office in Round Rock and then moved our office to our home. We recently moved to Tyler TX and since we had such great luck with him before, we called him again. In each of the 4 moves this time Seth and Chad were extremely professional. Seth and his crew are the best. I worked for a moving company many years ago and have not ever used a professional mover before myself. I would definitely recommend using Broke College Students to everyone. They are courteous and polite at all times. Seth immediately returned the call (even while on vacation) to place an estimate on our move. He was the only mover of 3 we requested who wanted to see the furniture (the others gave a blanket estimate). On moving day the team arrived on time, wrapped all the items in blankets or celophane, moved glass cabinets, a grandfather clock and an upright piano plus other typical items with care, and were done in a timely manner. Seth and his team are great, while he does have storeis of moving tycoons across the country he and his team dont balk at moving junk either! I am a very busy mom who has little attention to detail for much outside of my family and the guys took care of it all. They are curteous and non-judgemental (yes I need to keep that box of half empty shoeboxs), and are quick and organized. They make the tedious process of moving alot less painful! I heard about this company from a friend and was 110% satisfied with the job. These guys were trustworthy, considerate and skilled with wrapping/packing and moving my belongings into a storage unit.
